Dominion Pest Control

We had a yellow jacket nest in front of the house. They came out and dealt with it. They were very expensive. They gave us a 10% discount because I am an Angie's list member. After the job was done we checked around and found that the average cost for this job would have been much lesser; around $75 to $125. I think he said he came all the way from Cleveland and that was probably why he charged such a high price. The job took about half an hour. He just sprayed it and took it away. I would probably not use them again. I would look for someone with a better rating on Angie's list and a lesser price.

I talked with Barb about 2:00 PM on Friday. She said she could have someone out on Monday or Tuesday. I told her I had the day off from work and it would be really conventient to have the work done today. When I told her I am a member of Angie's list she said she would try to locate another technician to see if he could do the work sooner. In less than 2 hours Matt showed up to take care of the problem. He told me what to expect as far as actity in the area after the application. He was very profession and got the job done quickly. This experience exceeded my expectation.

Ray came on time for a scheduled service to spray the outside of our house. He took care of a wasps nest that was in the starting stages and also put some powder on some ant mounds to get rid of the ant mounds in our yard. He did not charge extra for taking care of the wasps nest and ant mounds. He was very courteous and helpful and took the time to show me the location of the wasps nest. We have used their service in the past and have always found them to be helpful and courteous, we will definitely use their service again.

They came and did what they were supposed to do. They were pleasant and good. Their price was within what I expected. I didn't have to wait long for them to come and do the work.

Good so far. No (live) mice found in the house since they came.

He was very responsive and prompt. He made an enormous effort to help me. He was here in the early morning. It took only ten minutes and I was very grateful.

If his product does the job, I would hire this company if the need arises in the future. Also, I was assured his products would not cause me any health problems.

We had yellow jackets going into the soffit above our bay window. I was concerned about all the bee activity because a contractor was coming to work on my house in that area. I contacted Dominion Pest Control. He was a very nice man. We scheduled an appointment for the following Wednesday morning and he arrived right on time. He inspected the soffit, but couldn't find the nest. (I had hoped to find a nest and watch it be removed, but that didn't happen.) He informed me that the bees were somewhere in my wall and he would spray up the soffit and around the point of entry. The bees would carry the powder into the nest and kill them off. It would be a slow process and I had to have patience. The activity has definitely slowed down, just as promised.

He was very thorough. He did a great job because we haven't had them again. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing.

They were very prompt, efficient and friendly. He knew what he was doing.

We have had no problems since their treatment.

They were great. The work was at my elderly mother's home. They came out the same day, took care of the problem, reassured my mother, gave her a senior discount and followed up by coming back out when she called to say a few wasps were still entering the house after a couple days. (They had told her to expect a few wasps for up to a week until they were all exterminated.) They also followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was OK and that she was happy. The work was reasonable priced.

It seemed pretty high for a problem that was fixed in five minutes. He said he no longer offers the Angie's List discount because of the high price of gas, and his attitude wasn't so great. I wouldn't have him back again. He took care of the bees, but it just seemed unreasonable.

He was very prompt, got here within 12 hours. He was professional, and reasonable price. I liked the idea I did not have to sign a contract with them.

I contacted Dominon and they returned my call same day. I told them what I needed done, they gave me an estimate and I made an appointment for the service. Ray and Barb were both friendly, courteous and polite. Ray even contacted me the day before my service to confirm the time and he let me know that due to an emergency assignment, he would be a half hour late. He arrived at the time promised and completed the work. It was a great experience and I hope to use them in the future.

We have all the protection or more if needed, which is very comforting. He is a great to deal with, and gets back to you when you leave him a message. His prices are low and the quality is high.

A home inspection report indicated carpenter bee activity & damage in three exterior locations. I called Dominion. Ray called back the same day I left my initial message & gave me a flat fee to exterminate the bees. He came out when scheduled but reported no current bee activity although he did dispatch wasps in another exterior location. His fee: half of what he'd quoted because the work wasn't as much as expected. Wow.

I called for a quote. I was told Ray would call back after hours to discuss schedule & price. He called back the next morning and engaged in a discussion about what I was seeing and whether I needed his services or some consumer ant spray from the local hardware store. He had availability to come out the following day, but ended up advising that I try the consumer spray to see if it would work and same me some money; if it didn't get better he'd be happy to come out. I very much appreciated his help and candor. I called back a few days later when the ants started getting worse, but he was busier and couldn't get me in until three business days later. If it weren't for his schedule, I'd have had him come take care of the problem, as I really appreciated the time he gave me on the phone originally. He's still on my list of exterminators to call the next time I have a problem.

I was trying to explain to him I would need to give him directions because they were putting a new sewer system in my neighborhood. He said he had maps and I wouldn't needed to give him directions. We made the appointment. A few days before my appointment I heard on the news there would be big storm coming in and mentioned I wanted to cancel b/c I didn't want all of the stuff being washed away. The receptionist called me back and was OK with re scheduling. I said I would call back to reschedule. The service man called me the next day and asked me if I could do it that Friday b/c he was going to be getting busy soon. We scheduled it for that Friday early in the morning. He calls me up Friday morning and said he was running early and he would be there soon. I hurried up to get ready for him but he did not show up until the actual appointment time. I was also upset with the fact that he stepped all over my plants. On the plus side they are not pushy into signing up for an annual contract.

Prompt return phone call. Fit me into his schedule quickly. Responded to all telephone calls, prompt, efficient, very nice man who answered all of my questions. Will use again if necessary.

Ray returned my call the same day to set up an appointment. It was on a Thursday and, because of possible further clothes damage, I asked him to come out the next day. He wouldn't so we had to wait until Monday. He arrived as scheduled and we got right to work emptying out a kitchen closet until we found some old almond slices in there that were the cause of the problem. He looked at my clothes damage but was only able to guess what the cause was. He suggested only an entomologist would know for sure. I was a little surprised as I expected him to be more knowledgeable about the "nitty-gritty" of such things. He had his own step ladder recently stolen and had to use ours. Hmmm. At the end, his quoted estimate already included our Angie's List discount, which I didn't expect.

He was very thorough. I can see myself using him again and I will recommend him to others.

The worker was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable and thorough. We haven't seen any ants since they came. Dominion Pest Control was great.

On time, came twice, phoned his findings to me. Was polite and tried to be helpful.
