+ -1 moreHe did the job correctly, per my home contractor. HOWEVER, Dave advertised on Angie's list that he is a licensed electrician. His license number was not on his receipt (and it usually is when I've had other electrical work done). I asked him several times, by email through Angie's, for his license number and he completely ignored my requests. I also could not find him or his company listed as licensed in the state of Ohio. My mistake for not asking for it ahead of time and my mistake for not verifying he was actually licensed before I hired him. HOWEVER, not honest on his part to advertise he is licensed and ignore my request for his license number. If he is licensed, why wouldn't he return my email with his license number? This could have caused a problem for us, but thankfully it didn't.

+ -1 moreDave Parker provided excellent service to our house in Seven Hills. We had an issue with an exposed, live wire in our basement when we moved into and needed our garage door rewired - which previously was running off a ceiling to wall extension cord. Our goal was to remove the cord have the garage door opener be powered directly where it is mounted to the ceiling. In addition, we had our baths, kitchens, and exterior house outlets upgraded to GFI's. Dave easily explained the scope of the work, completed it all in one morning, and did so at a reasonable price. Very pleased with the service, we would definitely recommend him and hire him again.
Description of Work: Dave performed wiring work in the garage, GFCI's in the household, as well as putting a junction box in the basement.

+ -1 moreWITH AVAILABILITY ONLY AFTER 5:00 P.M. WEEKDAYS AND ON WEEKEND DAYS, DAVE PARKER WAS ABLE TO MEET ALL CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES. HOWEVER, SOME APPOINTMENTS WERE MISSED DUE TO FAMILY OR OTHER WORK COMMITMENTS. HE DEMONSTRATED A CAN DO ATTITUDE THAT RESULTED IN RESOLVING NUMEROUS UNFORESEEN PROBLEMS AND SHOWED FLEXIBILITY WHEN CONFRONTED WITH CHANGES. HE IS COURTEOUS AND HIS SENSE OF HUMOR IS MOST APPRECIATED.
Description of Work: FOR OUR BASEMENT-FINISH PROJECT DAVE PARKER COMPLETED THE ROUGH AND FINAL ELECTRICAL WORK TO INCLUDE: A. RELOCATING A SECURITY CONTROL PANEL B. REWORKING EXISTING CIRCUITS C. ADDING FOUR NEW CIRCUITS TO THE BREAKER PANEL D. ADDING TWO COAX TV CABLES AND OUTLETS E. ADDING TWO TELEPHONE CABLES AND OUTLETS F. ADDING ONE SMOKE DETECTOR, G. ADDING LIGHT CIRCUITS A. THREE 3-WAY B. ONE REGULAR H. ADDING THIRTY FOUR OUTLETS AND PLATES I. ADDING SWITCHES A. FOURTEEN ON-OFF B. TWO VARIABLE (OFF, HI, 3, 2. LO) C. ONE DIMMER J. INSTALLING FIXTURES A. FIFTEEN FLUORESCENT LIGHT TROFFERS B. TWO EXHAUST FANS C. ONE CEILING FAN D. SIX RECESSED CEILING LIGHTS. THE WORK WAS INSPECTED BY THE STRONGSVILLE BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
