bathtub refinishing
+ -1 moreHe was on time for the job. I had to leave so I left a check with my wife. When I returned he was gone. I noticed sanding scratches around the rim of the tub and more than a few spots that were not feathered or filled in when he sprayed. The area around the drain was especially bad. It appeared that he never turned the lights on to check his work. It was so obvious that there were issues once the lights were on in the bathroom that I was surprised he left it like that. I texted him to call me which he did the next day. He did not believe that there was any problem but said he would come look at it. He never came nor did he ever call back.
Description of Work: Refinish cast iron tub . Clean tub and apply a spray on finish.

Description of Work: This guy was recommended by a friend....all I asked was that the tub be shiney when he was done....he said in his professional opinion that all it needed was cleaned and it would be fine. I went to dinner and called him about 45 minutes later--he said it would take about 2 hours...he said it was shining and all was ok, I had left him a signed check (friend referal) he filled it in for 50 and left. The next morning it was the flatest white I have ever seen...The spots that were shining weren't anymore.....I called and asked him to come back and put the spary coat on--he refused--he even said--I am busy enough that I don't even need your job. This job was scheduled for 2 weeks to be done while my wife was in dallas at a convention and he didn't arrive till 6:15 and was gone by 7:00.
