In late June I used the "Ask A Question" tool of Angie's List to find out if Spot-On Home Improvements would be interested in a certain project or if they'd consider it to be too small. (Install a tub shower faucet and replace the drain.) Damian was very prompt in replying that they would be interested but unfortunately they were already booked until the second week of September. He was kind enough, at my request, to recommend another company to try, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely request Spot-On's services the next time I need a handyman.

They had to return to finish the original job, otherwise the guys were very good to work with, polite and cordial.

They didn't do quite a full day of work - the company sent 2 people for 1/2 a day. They also didn't do much for the 1/2 day of work when they were at my home. Some of the work that they did do, I had to have redone.

Ron, the project manager and his assistant Jeff did a great job. They showed up on time every day, and worked the whole day diligently. The prepped, took care of covering stairs with tarp as they worked, cleaned up after themselves every day and paid attention to the little details. The end result was great work and attention to detail! I would like to have them back to do work again and am happy I found a reliable and quality-focused service provider. For the record, we did have a misunderstanding with the quote details and exactly what it covered with respect to the painting, however the quote was fair for what was intended. I would recommend writing each and every item you want quoted to ensure there isn't any gray area or misunderstanding on expectations. However, as I said, I would have no reservations about having them back for any future work.

Damien and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to work with. The work was scheduled and completed in a very timely manner. They did a very good job with great attention to details.

he came out to give me an estimate. he said he would respond in 3 business days....in 5 business days he left me a message that said he didn't have my email address as he wanted to send the proposal to me....I sent him my email address. its almost 3 weeks later and I haven't heard from him. why is it that contractors don't seem to want any business---they are so non responsive and I am looking at a $10,000 plus job.

We could not have asked for the process to have gone any easier! Damian and his crew were very professional, respectable, and punctual. We will definitely be calling them again in the future.

I was lucky and it required only a new, fatter wax ring for the toilet to seal it properly and then fixing the cosmetic damage to the ceiling and wall, priming and painting. Rodney and Adam were courteous, professional, neat and tidy and took the time to explain every step before they completed the work. They made sure to cover everything up before beginning work and cleaned everything and put it back so that it was better than before! I would have these gentlemen back anytime for any future repairs and I will recommended them to all my family and neighbors.

Scheduling was fine and they arrived a little early to the appointment. Two men completed the work in one morning. They did a good job. One of the men went shopping for the materials while the other worked the entire time. The only additional costs were for the materials. My experience with then went very well overall.

Everything went great, they were on time and did not need to come back to finish the job.

Overall you get what you pay for. FIrst workday I was happy with the way things went however after this productivity & quality went downhill. Being paid by the hour became a way to bleed the project. Mistakes could be corrected but at $25 per hour why not. The last time the provider was at my home Damian showed up with a painter(first day on the job) who didn't know how to paint (after I complained about wall paint on freshly painted moulding in my living room his worker left to go to the store to purchase tape so I basically paid $25 per hour for someone who wasted alot of time and the quality of what he did was well below substandard. Damian gave me an extra 35 minutes which he painted in my bathroom-left bubbles & I now have turquoise paint on my freshly painted bathroom ceiling & on the baseboard moulding which didn't need paiinted as it was installed not long ago. After this visit I sent a text to Damian that I wanted either himself or Derek(who by the way is an amazing painter/handyman) for Dec 23rd. Well Damian didn't respond and Derek showed up to work. Damian was rude to say the least on the phone when he called a that Derek was outside to work. Unfortunately I was unable to have him work that day due to another appt made as I had no response from Damian. I expect a partial refund by Spot on Home Improvement in the form of Derek working for 8 hours to correct the mistakes & compensate me for the substandard work performed. Thank You

I had some painting to be done inside as well as outside. The inside painting was a bedroom ceiling and my front door. Both of these were done professionally. The results were excellent and everything was cleaned up. Since it was raining, the outside painting had to be rescheduled. Unfortunately, since we were heading into the cold weather, that portion of the job has not been finished yet and will need to be done in the spring.

The faucets were more involved than expected due to rust and corrosion around the existing units, but they explained the issues and gave me options, along with pros and cons, about how to handle certain trouble spots. They arrived promptly and were responsive to any questions I had. It's so nice to have working equipment again! I would use them again in the future.

The service went okay. Two painters came out and completed the job in 4 hours. They painted shutters and over the door. The owner was very nice. One of the shutters had fallen off and he came back the a couple days later to put it back up for me. The guy who did the painting around the garage did not do the best job and should probably be re-done. They did a nice job with the cleanup. It did take a while to get the service scheduled.

Very happy with the quality of their work They did an excellent job of fixing some drywall issues and the painting the area.

These guys always do a great job . They finish early, clean up thoroughly and are pleasant and flexible. I look forward to having them back to work on my laundry room redo in the new year.

Everything was great. They worked to do a number of 'miscellaneous' but very needed services. Prompt and efficient.

I received communication from the company very fast. I set up an appointment with the owner Damian who came out to go over my list of potential tasks to be completed. He agreed that the tasks could be completed. He said that he would have a 2 man crew come out to do the task. So I would have the 2 man crew for 4 hours as I purchased the handyman for the day which was 8 hours of work. The crew consisted of one person (Ron) who was great, knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard and his step son who seemed like he was brand new to the industry. Ron had to show the other worker how to do every task. When Ron had to leave to get the right tools, it left the other worker there without any guidance. Since he was not able to continue work I was then paying him to hang out until the other worker was able to return. They were able to complete 2 of the 4 tasks that I had planned for the day. Ron and myself agreed that one of the tasks would not be completed as it required too much work. I contacted Damian and asked to have Ron come out to finish the remaining job. I was told by Ron it would be 1 person and would take less than 2 hours. Ron showed up and said Damian was heading out as well. Damian got there and started looking at the job that couldn't be completed. So instead of one person finishing the task that was going to be 2 hours, I then had to pay for 2 guys works on the one task and the other task that I thought we were not doing. So I paid for the 8 hours, and then had to pay for extra 6 hours of work, and then they wanted to come back to finish which would be another 2 hour of work. When I bought the package I thought I was going to be able to get the 4 tasks done in the 8 hours plus have time for other small stuff.

Painters showed up on time, worked consistently and did a great job. Very professional.

I had used this company before and really liked them, so I purchased this deal. I had one appointment scheduled and they cancelled since one of their employees went on vacation. I really needed to have some tile work done before Thanksgiving. We had the appointment scheduled for today. We spoke about the project that I needed done through email, he agreed they could get this done. He advised me that the type of tile I was wanting was going to take at least two days to complete. I decided to change this to sheet vinyl to make sure that this project could be done in the one day allotted time frame for the deal. When the workers got here, they said they just could not do this and did not want to mess anything up. I appreciated the fact that they were honest enough to know they could possibly mess my floors up. I am just requesting a refund on this deal.
