The owner, Michael Dombi, phoned us to obtain more information with respect to our TV set's not receiving a signal and therefore "going dark" on us. We explained that we had two routers in the house, one in our basement and an auxiliary one in our TV room which had been working fine for the 6 months or so since it was installed. Michael resolved the problem over the phone. He had me disconnect the auxiliary router and re-boot our main router in the basement. That solved the problem! It took about 10 or 15 minutes for Michael to walk us through what to do. I asked what he wanted us to pay him for fixing our TV reception issue and he said that there would be no charge. Michael knows his stuff when it comes to in-home networks and computer-related problems. He could easily have made a trip to our home and billed us for that but his focus was on providing customer service, not increasing his business' top line. I am very impressed with him and highly recommend him to anyone who has a home or small business computer-(or TV) related problem.

Excellent. Great detailed support anytime.

Mike did an excellent job on my computer. I was having problems with my email and I thought my hard drive was going bad. He checked everything and found out my hardware was good, but at the same time found out that I had gotten a pirated operating system installed by a previous repair service. He checked it all out with the licensee to make sure he was correct. I know I never would have found that out if I had taken the computer to the previous service to be cleaned. Mike was prompt in returning my initial phone call and kept me informed by text messages during the time he was working on the computer. He answered all my questions and told me I could call him anytime with more questions. Initially he offered to do the work online, but I'm not very computer literate so opted to take it to his office. I would definitely use his service again and would recommend him to anyone needing his service. UPDATE: called him back for the second time, no answer. No call back. Very disappointing.

Our desktop computer had been "acting up" for a while and then we could not connect to the internet -- although emails still came through. Found there was a long list of computer updates that had not been processed. My husband spent a number of hours working on it and ran malware, but he still could not get the updates to process. Checked on Angie's list and found M&J very close to us and with great reviews. Never expected to have the problem handled the same day we called on a weekend, but it was Right now the computer is working great. Would definately recommend and would use again. Thanks Mike!

He was very good about everything he did. Very conscientious

Mike picked up my old and new computer and transferred files. He returned and set up my new computer. He took the time to set up my printer also and remove the extra, not needed, web of cords from prior set up. He was courteous and helpful. Only regret is that I threw away office software that I needed to install back on new computer to open up existing files. Over all, great service and price.

It's a small company and it's one guy but he's quick to turn around. He's efficient and great customer service.

Mike was terrific! He brought it in on April 4th, after having to order it. He came out and installed it and I can’t say enough positives about him. He took his time and was able to explain things to me. He gave me choices of monitors and sent a written estimate and talked to me over the line and he was just great.

On my second visit was very honest with me and said it would be cheaper to buy a new printer than to fix this one. I greatly appreciated his honestly. He did not charge me the last time I took the printer in. The printer was quite old. He disposed of the printer for me, which I appreciated. I have written a review on this company the first time i used him.

If there were a super hero computer repair guy...Mike would be it! I chose him from Angie's List because I liked what he had to say about himself/his business (he obviously loves what he does), he had great reviews, & I liked that he provided a photo so I knew who would be knocking on my door. He arrived the day after I called, was on time, & was polite & friendly. While he was transferring the data, he was working on diagnosing the other problems. I thought the data transfer would be the difficult part...but he realized my computer was riddled with malware, viruses, & a bunch of computer problems that had even effected my anti-virus program. During this time, he also fixed my brand new office chair that I had not put together correctly. He explained that my computer was so bad that he was going to have to take it so he could work on it at home. This first visit was on New Year's Eve. He worked on it all New Years Day & did not charge me any extra for the holiday hours. He initially told me it would cost $150 for the repair. He updated me all day via detailed text messages. I was really worried that it was going to end up costing a lot more for all the work he had to put into it. But the next day he brought it back in the middle of a snow storm & not only did he charge me the $150 he quoted...but he threw in the data transfer, hazardous driving conditions, & chair fixing for free! He was also great with my dog, which as I have written in other reviews is important to me. Now my computer works better than it ever has & I could not possibly recommend Mike any higher...he is an A+ without any doubt.

Michael did an excellent job fixing my computer, eliminating things I needed to have taken out, troubleshooting and installing a new drive. He did a lot remotely. Then when we realized I needed to have the new drive, he came to our home and not only installed the drive but showed me a lot of things I needed to know on my Apple IPAD. He is very professional...explains things thoroughly and we are very pleased with how my computer is performing. He's my new "computer guy" and would recommend him.

Mike returned the voicemail message I left him within a couple hours and pretty much was able to figure out from my description over the phone what was likely causing the problems my computer. Despite his very busy schedule, he was willing to stop out the next morning to take a look at it. He took apart the desktop tower thing (you can tell how technical I'm not) and said he would need to take it back to his office to be able to check it thoroughly. He called early that same evening and let me know the optical drive, CD/DVD burner and video card needed to be replaced, and he would be able to have it all fixed up and ready to bring it back to me a couple days. I thanked him for being so quick as busy as he is and he said no problem, he understands completely what it's like to be without your computer! I had also told Mike that a month ago my computer had suddenly gone to blue screen with a bunch of computerese all over it, something about a couple new hardware or software programs I'd installed might have to be removed. The message took up the whole screen and I couldn't get to the start button to look for any programs, so all I could do was pull the plug to shut the power off. It started back up just fine and the blue screen never came back, but ever since then, it occasionally would just spin around after I entered my password and none of the icons would come up. Again I'd have to pull the plug on it and it would restart the next time. He suspected a rootkit virus or a power surge might have done something to it, but after finding no rootkit virus and doing more troubleshooting, he discovered that my Norton 360 security program was hanging up with Malwarebytes security. He said Norton does cause a lot of issues and recommended uninstalling it and replacing it with Microsoft Security Essentials which doesn't get hung up with Malwarebytes and has the added bonus of being free. He even added a program where if I have problems down the road, he could access my computer remotely from his office and help figure out what's wrong. Sure enough, I had my computer back 2 days after I initially called him. That night I tried burning a CD again, and was surprised when it still didn't work. I called Mike and left him a message, thinking because it was Friday night after hours, he probably wouldn't have a chance to call back until Monday. Much to my amazement, he called me back just a few minutes later. He was surprised too because he of course had tested it thoroughly in his office before returning it and the CD burner was working fine. He took over remotely, and much to my huge embarrassment, the CD burned successfully. And I had tried 3 times in a row with different brands of CD's, and all of them spit back out without recording. He even stayed on the phone while I tried a 2nd CD, and when that time I got a message that some of the songs I tried to copy weren't recordable for some reason, he showed me how to find out which specific songs had an error message and would have to be deleted from my list. To say Mike goes above and beyond for his clients is an understatement!

Mike worked on the computer starting Thursday, January 24th and I got it back from him on Saturday, January 26th. It is running perfectly! It now runs as if it was brand new! Mike's fees were reasonable and his work was top-notch. I will definitely go back to him with future business, as needed!

The guys came to our house, picked up everything and brought everything back in 3 days. Stayed until my husband ran a few programs and then left. Super nice guy and very professional. Explained all the repairs and stated it in such a way that even I understood!

He spent a lot of time fixing and tuning my computers and only charged me $155.00. One computer and hard drive I will mail to him for retrieving emails, pictures, and music.

Until I was referred to Michael, I was terrified when it came to anything having to do with computer technology. Now, I don't worry about a thing. Michael is a role model for professionalism and for honesty. He is prompt, efficient and patient as the day is long. His honesty and his dedication to his work are the epitome of someone who truly loves his profession and is devoted to it. I will never have anyone but Michael attend to my computer needs. I can not say enough good tings about Michael and his work. All I can say is that EVERYONE should have a Michael Dombi in his/her life. I realize how very, very fortunate I am to have found Michael. Truly, he is a knowledgeable, gentlemanly, honorable gift to those whose luck brought Michael to them.. I wish for everyone to experience having the wonderful gift of Michael Dombi.

If it was possible to give Mike an A+ on the ratings, Mike would be our choice to earn it in all categories. He has helped us with all kinds of home computer issues and is always dependable, professional and patient. This most recent time, my husband called him at 10pm over a weekend with a computer problem and Mike was able to fix the problem remotely! We were back in business in one hour! You don't get service like that anywhere else! Thanks, Mike!!!

Mike provides impeccable service. He is extremely knowledgeable about all-things-computer! His pricing is MORE than fair, considering the amount of time he spends, and his attention to detail. I think that the most important thing I can share with those who read this is that Mike is ALWAYS timely - meaning that a text or phone call gets an immediate response from him - and also, he is very patient, and understands the importance of my work, and the deadlines that it involves - and why I need help quickly! I have NEVER encountered an IT person who is this good - I wish we could clone Mike!! He is the best there is.

I do have confidence that I am working with honesty when I work with Mike. I do not have any intention of calling on any other person to help with my computer needs. I do know that Mike was always available to stand behind his work.
