Home genius talked me through my options and pricing for roof replacement on my house and garage. The pricing was competitive for my local market, I also needed gutters on the garage. The roofing crew was prompt worked efficiently to complete the roof in one day clean the debris and nails while protecting my flowerbeds, which was no small task, the 25 year warranty on product and workmanship was a big selling feature. The gutters were put on about a week later and through the whole process the company kept me informed.

Horrible Experience. My new roof is still leaking. I just had this roof installed 7/30/2024 and waiting for their repair person to come-out again and fix. Meanwhile it is raining and destroying my newly renovated living room.

Not so "Genius". I'd give zero stars if that was an option. I requested an estimate to have 2 sections of soffit cover replaced, via their website request form. Within minutes I received a text where I needed to spell out my request again -- pretty sure that was a bot. Next day got multiple phone calls/texts while in meetings to call back and "choose option 1", which I did when I was available. Called back to sit through rings and dead silence for 5 min before I hung up, then immediately sent a text that I never replied. Got a call back later in the day and finally spoke to a human who I had to once again explain my request, after she said I "was requesting a full roof replacement estimate". I again said I just have 2 soffit covers that need replaced. She scheduled a time for someone to come out and give an estimate, while also saying it would take 1-2 ours...strange for just 2 small sections of soffit that needed replaced and she also demanded my spouses name...WHY?? Anyways, day of estimate I get calls to verify my appointment. I call back to have the individual say "estimate for full gutter, facia board, soffit replacement". I corrected her YET AGAIN that ONLY 2 sections of soffit covers need replaced. She then mumbled something that I didn't understand and I stated "are we still on for the estimate appointment", at which point she said they couldn't and I'd have to rescheduled. I canceled everything right there. If this is how the company conducts business just trying to set up an estimate, I would NOT want to have them doing any work on my house. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Been 8 months ago my roof was put on. First, let me start with the roofers. They claim they get top of the line roofers. Not 1 spoke english and at 9pm we asked them to stop because neighbors have children and it was disturbing them. By 10pm they finally stopped when I said get off my property and my neighbors were complaining. Second, they claimed to have the roof done in 2 days, 4 days later they were still at work. They never started working on the roof until 4pm each day. Third, our financing was cancelled somehow. For 8 months I called, wrote letters to try and pay for a horrible experience. I even texted the salesman and another person from home genious to never have gotten a response until finally 8 months later. Now they want to process paperwork. Scheduled this 3xs. First time person never showed up. Second time paperwork processed but a mistake wss made. Now 3rd time, they are giving me different rates then when I was originally offered and my monthly rate was different from the original quote. Im 100% totally frustrated and WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!

I don't recommend hiring this company. Not the service I expected for the outrageous price. I expected trucks with the company name or something but that was not the case. You would think a big company would be wanting other folks in the neighborhood to know who they were. I felt okay with the roofing crew yesterday but one bilingual worker would have been helpful. Still they were hard working guys and they took a good amount of time to clean up after. Today a different crew put up gutters. They didn't clean up at all. I found 12 screws and nails in a four foot square just in my driveway by the garage door. 4 or 5 more on the front porch. Now I have the coordinator Skyler is trying to tell me that's what a good clean up leaves behind. I am supposed to be getting a call back but as of now, I don't feel like I should drive my car before policing the area myself in detail. For as much money as they are charging, they should be ashamed by this lack of service. Like another person said, I feel like a fool at this point for signing a service agreement with this company. Regardless of what is said on the phone tonight, this is not acceptable. edit to add: A different project coordinator / supervisor came today. Bill was very understanding and helpful. He cleaned the yard himself and agreed the poor service was not acceptable. I still would not recommend HGE to other people but I can say an effort was made to fix the things that went wrong.

THE HOME GENIUS OFF IN Twinsburg, Ohio, TURNED INTO ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH AN EXCENT GROUP OF PEOPLE FROM START TO FINISH. I FEEL THE SERVICE, THE PRODUCT, THE INSTALLEMENT OF THE ROOF WAS EXCELLENT. My NEXT PROJECT IN A FEW WEEKS WILL BE WINDOWS INSTALLED. I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE EXCELLENT RESULTS. I APPRECIATE THEIR INTEREST AND WILLINGNESS TO GIVE ASSISTANCE TO OUR COMMUNITY.

Our project manager Brandon was amazing along with his crew they got both our house and our garage done in one day. Made sure everything was cleaned up and looked amazing. We would definitely recommend them 😁

Everything went great. The crew showed up after I had left for work and by the time I got home everything was done, cleaned up, and looking great!

Excellent service with this company. Went above and beyond to meet my needs. Delivered everything that was promised. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Minor issues first. Left cigarette butts all over my yard and driveway and used bathroom behind my garage! Then when I go to sign loan it was not the percentage, length and amount initially shown to me by salesman!! The old switch after work has started. Was given 8.99% then they changed it to 12.99% not minor change!! Was for 15 years at @$130/month and changed to 20 years at @$144/month. If I go full length of loan paying triple cost!! Still waiting to see if quality good. Would NEVER recommend, even if quality excellent, just for deceptive loan practices!
