They had a wide selection and offered many options. When they didn't have exactly what we wanted, they sent us directly to their supplier who had everything you could think of. Once we found what we wanted they shipped it to their office and then installed it without issue.

The Counter Top Shop installed approx. 65 square feet of quartz counter tops in my kitchen, as well as a stainless steel undermount sink. They were all very helpful and polite, from planning in the shop to installation in my home. The seams were nearly invisible and perfectly level. The finished product was excellent.

Install went good. Had a problem with some scratches on the countertop that came from Cambria. Cambria countertops come from their own shops. The Countertop Shop representative just said they didn't do it, and never got back with me. I emailed Cambria, and they d-i-d get back with me and they also contacted the Countertop Shop. Cambria came out and removed the scratches. I was impressed with the service from Cambria but not as much with the Countertop Shop.
Description of Work: Installed kitchen and two bathroom countertops and backsplashs. The kitchen countertop was from Cambria and the bathromm countertops were from the Countertop Shop.

The sales staff Jim was good to deal with but upon installation their crew was horrible. First, they backed into our home damaging our side door. Keep in mind this was a new construction we had to get in and 90-degrees heat on top of that. The door frame has to be completely replaced so I had a temporary door on there (at my cost) that did a great job of racking up my air conditioning bill. Then, they damaged two walls (badly) and broke my island door. I had other contractors in there and they told me these guys have gotten very bad and out of the many houses they are in - have never quite seen anything like that. The workers were unprofessional. That wasn't the worst part. We paid their bill leaving behind about $3500. We thought this was enough to hopefully have them make right what they did wrong and they still need to come back and caulk a variety of things. I wrote a letter to the President Mike telling him we will pay the final payment once we get all of the bills to correct their damage and never got a response. In the meantime, I had to wait 2 weeks to get a new door in, beg my finished carpenter to come back and install it ... do the same with the painters all while looking a the caulking that was never completed. My painters finally felt so bad over my frustration they did some of the caulk themselves. This was only 4 weeks ago and they threaten me with a lien asking for payment. I was shocked. If they only knew how hard we had to work to fix all the stuff they damaged as nothing in my house was custom. Try getting busy contractors back in your home to fix someone else's mess. Not easy! Please stay away from this company as nothing good will come out of using them.
Description of Work: We had used this company in the passed with good experience and decided to use them again for our entire home. This included a larger amount of granite for fireplaces, countertops, and some laminate for a basement kitchen.

We did acknowledge our mistakes and everything was completed. We did cover the cost of the damages we actually did.

Total Bait and switch. I was hoping to use a local company instead of a big box store. I was totally sold when they promised a 2 day turnaround time from measure to install. But after I paid in full, (nonrefundable of course) they received a corporate contract and my project was placed on the back burner. Every appointment scheduled with them was rescheduled at least once (by them). It took three weeks, instead of the promised two days to get the counter! When I reminded them of what they promised, they blatantly told me that they didn't care, and that the bigger account was more important. Many other business would have just worked a little harder to live up to their promises...not these guys. At the time of the sales pitch they also explained that their process involved making a plywood template to exactly fit the counter and wall at the home site, that they would subsequently cover with laminate. What we got: they came out, spent ten minutes measuring , and created a counter with gaps between backsplash and wall. The quality is no better than the big box stores, and neither is the customer service. I was really hoping to find a quality local company but this one did not pan out.

We appreciate all comments true or false. Your order was entered on July 26, 2011. Yes you paid in full because we started a policy to collect in full on any orders under $1000. Your deposit/payment was fully refundable up until we brought in materials or did work on you project and even then we would have deducted our expenses and refunded the difference. Your reference to Bait and Switch usually involves not getting what you paid for and you clearly stated that you got what you paid for. Your job was templated on August 1st and the job was installed on August 11, 2011. That is a far cry from what you descibed in your comments. I apologize for the misunderstanding about a two day turn around. It was our mistake for saying that without checking first. In order to keep seams to a minimum we have to order the right size sheets of material. For your job our order was delayed a couple days and we should have communicated this to you. Again I apologize for your order taking ten days instead of two. And again I appreciate you posting your opinion.

Wonderful! The technology they use to measure and the overall quality of their work resulted in a perfect job. A few months after the installation, a tiny piece of grainite popped up out of the resin. The responded quickly to the service request and made a perfect repair at NC. More impressivley, 3 years after the installation one of the achors (actually an epoxy)that hold the undermount sink in place came loose creating a little "give" in the sink. Called them out again, expecting to be charged. The service men explained that the installation method used 3 years ago had been improved. While it wasn't practical to retrofit the installation to the new method, thety installed some braces that totally fixed the issue. I was advised there would be no charge. Sorry for the long explanation---but the point is HOW MANY COMPANIES WOULD COME OUT ON A SERVICE CALL 3 YEARS LATER AND DO IT NO CHARGE???? Excellent work, professional outfit
Description of Work: Original work done in 2008 was insatllation of quartz countertop. (I was not an Angies list memebr at that time).Since that time they have addressed to issues relative to the original work
