Jim, the owner, worked with us directly, and we were very happy with his work. He really took his time to make sure everything was perfect, and he gave us his personal phone number in case we had any problems or concerns. Ultimately, he did a great job, and we'd recommend his company to others for similar services.
Description of Work: They completed several projects which included installing a new gas line, converting a gas stove to propane, hooking up a dishwasher, and working on the sump pump in our basement. They also did a lot of work that was involved with a recent kitchen remodel which included reattaching a garbage disposal, installing a new faucet for our reverse osmosis system, and installing a new motion-sensing faucet.

They did a terrible job. First, they would say they were coming out and never show that day. When they did show it would be at end of the day and only work for 1 hour and have to leave. When they finally did come to work, they put the faucets in the shower wrong, didn't hook up the hot water heater correctly and would not cut the hole for the tub faucet as said, they did not know how to do it. They were going to leave this one morning after working only one hour and still a lot more work to do, but after my husband got upset and contacted their boss they stayed to get some work done. When they came back the next day my husband had to point out all the incorrect things done, they disagreed with him. When they came back the next time they agreed they were wrong. Since they have finished the sink faucet, it has kept dripping. I don't understand how people can say they are master plumbers and don't know how to do the job correctly. Then we asked them to put the faucet on the outside of the house and they said it was not on the list to do. They don't have any pride in their work.
Description of Work: They did the plumbing for the new addition to our house this winter, which was a bathroom. Did the pipes in the basement for the shower, tub, toilet and faucets. Put plumbing fixtures in shower, tub & sinks. Had to cut out for new tub and then put in faucets. Put in a new hot water heater in the basement and connect the two hot water heaters together and to the water pump in the basement. Put a faucet on outside of the house.

Response from B & T PLUMBING
IN RESPONSE ON THE SCHEDULE: WE WENT TO THE JOB SITE WHEN THERE WAS ENOUGH WORK FOR OUR CREWS TO DO. WE DO NOT SEND CREWS TO A JOB SITE TO ONLY WORK FOR AN HOUR HERE AND THERE. THAT IS NOT HOW THE JOB WAS BID. THE HOMEOWNERS HAVE NOT CONTACTED THIS OFFICE TO LET US KNOW THAT THEY WERE UNHAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK DONE. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL SAYING THE FAUCET WAS LEAKING. AS FAR AS THE OUTSIDE FAUCET IS CONCERNED OUR CREW IS TOLD THAT THEY DO NOT DO ITEMS NOT ON THE CONTRACT WITHOUT APPROVAL FIRST. AS FAR AS THE TUB FAUCET IS CONCERNED WE WOULD PREFER THAT THE INSTALLER OF THE DECK CUT THE FAUCET HOLES. THEY ARE WELL AWARE OF THE TYPE OF EQUIPMENT AND HAVE THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO GET THE JOB DONE CORRECTLY. WE DID AN ESTIMATE ON THIS JOB AND THE PRICE WAS HIGHER DUE TO THE FIXTURES THAT THE HOMEOWNERS SELECTED AFTER OUR BID WAS PREPARED. THAT IS THE ONLY CHANGE IN THE PRICES. OUR COMPANY HAS NOT BEEN PAID IN FULL BY THE HOMEOWNERS. WE HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO RECEIVE PAYMENT AND WE ARE ALWAYS TOLD THEY ARE GOOD FOR THE MONEY. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS IS ALL A PLOY TO GET OUT OF MAKING A PAYMENT IN FULL! WE HAVE WORKED FOR MANY CONTRACTORS AND HOMEOWNERS AND HAVE A VERY SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS. PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO ONE DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER.
