Excellent service. All parties involved did all they could to meet our needs and expectations, even though it meant changing plans several times during the process. The owner of the company stopped by several times during the project to make sure everything was going well. Overall, an excellent experience. Would recommend company to others.

The Great Garage Company, and Tom D'Amico in particular, did a good job. We had lots of non-standard specific details that we wanted included in the design, and Tom worked very hard and very creatively to come up with solutions and make everything work out. He really put in a lot of effort to make sure things were done the way we wanted and getting to a price that we could manage. Any problems that came up were fixed quickly. Throughout the process, Tom kept in very close contact with us - including going with us to a variance request at a zoning board meeting.

Working with Great Garage was as advertised. The estimate was professionally done and Tom DiAmco was on top of the project from start to finish. He always gave us a day's notice as to when any kind of work would be done, and those crews showed right on time, as scheduled. Cleanup was done very well. Be aware, they use all sub-contractors for work, but they were all very professional and competent. My garage was built in one day and it looks great.

Tom came to my house and went over the different designs that he offers and gave me a quote that night. While finalizing the final design and options he was very patient in answering all my questions and was very accomodating with the changes that I wanted. The teardown of the old garage and floor was done in a day without any mess. Tom kept in constant contact we me informing me when the different trades where going to perform their work and they always showed up like clock work. The garage was built to my high expectation of an Angie's List award winner. Nice job, no hassles.

My experience with them was positive. They did a fine job. It took them about 6 weeks to finish building. The quality of their work was excellent.

The presentation at our house was thorough. The estimate was reasonable. The work was started late in the year and an unexpected (by me) long two-week permit approval (contracted by the City of Euclid) put the work into undesirable weather. But, the work was completed on schedule and to my satisfaction.

The Great Garage Company (GGC) coordinated the project to demolish our old one car detached garage and replace it with a new 2 car detached garage. They also replaced our driveway and sidewalk concrete. John DiAmico of GGC ran the project. John and the GGC did an outstanding job on our challenging project from beginning to end. From our initial meetings for estimates and all other meetings John was always on time for appointments. He was also available via cell phone evenings and weekends to discuss and act on our concerns and proposed changes. John provided substantial insight and ideas in our garage and concrete plans. He also provided suggestions for drainage and landscaping. GGC's garage construction plans were detailed and thorough. We were kept informed by meetings, phone calls and emails. We experienced NO surprises or unanticipated expenses working with GGC. GGC also provided a recommendation for tree trimming and tree removal service by Edwards Tree Service of Amherst. Edwards Tree service did a fine job removing two trees and trimming several others at a reasonable cost. (440)988-4470 John was very effective in responding to a variety of issues that arose during the project. He met these issues with a positive attitude and resolved them all sometimes going beyond the call of duty. John's efforts were appreciated and were key in the Great Garage Co delivering a superior product on time. We are very satisfied with the entire project. We highly recommend the Great Garage Company for new garages and concrete work. The quality of the work is TOP NOTCH. Our project was not inexpensive but the quality delivered more than offset the price. We recommend the Great Garage Company for anyone who wants a quality garage. We love our garage and driveway!

The work was done according to the plan and the outcome is good. They did not keep the time line which they promised and did not contact us that their time line had changed. They provided top soil beyond the original contract but its quality was not very good.

All of the work was performed in an extremely efficient and professional manner. John met with us at our home on several occasions to discuss our needs with respect to the new garage. On the day that our old garage was demolished, our neighbors made a point of telling us what a wonderful, clean and fast operation it was. John was very responsive throughout the process and we are very pleased with our garage.

Overall the experience was very good. The time line was very tight to get the old garage down and the new one up with all the concrete work before we left for a extended period out of town. Calls were returned promptly no matter what time or day of the week and all work was performed on time ( that in itself is a rarity). Clean up was very good. The garage is beautiful. Abit pricey, but you do get what you pay for.

Gary from Great Garage was very timely and diligent in taking the measurements and developing the estimate. He sent me an itemized estimate for the entire project in a timely manner. Although it's too late in the season to begin the project, I will stongly consider using them in the future.

They were willing to work with us on the price. They were great at coordinating all of the contractors. The owner was really nice. The garage is beautiful.

The price are not very low but they do a very good job. They keep telling you everything they are doing during the project. They always showed up on time to do the work.

Overall he was excellent! He was professional he has a written contract and he meets his deadlines and he does a very good job and we will use him again again the future.

They were on time to do the work asked of them. I would use them in the future. They were courteous and kind while they were here. The quality of their work was good. I would recommend them.

The overall experience with this company was excellent. John was especially helpful.

Tom was great to work with from the initial estimate consultation to completion of the work. We got quotes from a couple of other companies and Tom's quote was slightly higher but we were impressed with the quality of his work. In the end we were sooooo happy that we had spent the extra few dollars because the project turned out to be a headache for Tom and his crew and by the end they had to solve a few unforeseen problems and we got more than we paid for. The tear-down of the old garage and removal of the asphalt was quickly done. The concrete foundation was finished quickly and the outline for the concrete driveway was dug out, graveled, and framed in a day. At this point our neighbors decided (not for the first time) to throw a fit about what we were doing on our home improvement project and they complained to the city that the drainage from our driveway would overflow into their yard and basement. This halted production for about a month while they argued back and forth with us, with Tom, and with the inspectors that we had to hire to show that the water flow was NOT designed to go into their yard. In the end, the city board members threw up their hands and decided that the neighbors are crazy and just told us to do what we wanted. Tom ended up putting the extra drain into the driveway to make the neighbors stop freaking out and the crew finally got to continue with their work. In the end, the garage looks terrific, we have gotten many compliments on it, and the driveway looks very nice as well (and nobody's basement has flooded). The work was done as promptly as the neighbor's dispute would allow, the workers were professional, and Tom was a pleasure to work with. We were REALLY impressed with how nicely he handled the neighbor's multiple odd complaints. (In his shoes I would have had to fight the urge to whack the lady with the shovel). I would highly recommend this company.

He told me the door wasn't worth repairing and I should just buy a new door.

Overall, things went very smoothly. The only exception was the electricians who were unprofessional, did not clean up after themselves and took my extension cord and may have also taken my shovel. Tom D'amico was very helpful and completed the work in a timely and high quality fashion.

They were slightly high in price, but I was very happy with the results. They were very personable, courteous and prompt. Besides having a book for me to look at, he had a list of garages in my neighborhood that he had done, so I was able to drive by and look at them. The other companies I looked in to did not offer this.

I first called them in early February. Gary D'Amico came to my house with two notebooks full of information,covering every phase of the project. Because I signed up early, I received a 10% discount. They provided me with many materials via mail (including references), and I was told up front about what was NOT included in the job (i.e. landscaping). The job was done in a remarkably short time. Each crew reported on time and went right to work, doing their jobs well. I feel I have a well-constructed and attractive garage. The most important thing to me was the personal attention from Gary D'Amico. He always called a day ahead to tell me who was coming and when. He checked in often, and he was ALWAYS receptive to my phone calls and questions. That constant contact and the timeliness of the workers was extremely important. Everyone was professional looking, friendly, and highly competent. Their high quality work and personal attention makes them A Number One in my book.

Tom D'Amico called me back within 24 hours of my leaving a message. He arranged to come to look at our garage, even though neither of us was sure it was the kind of work his company does. After looking at what needed to be done, he gave us some advice and we agreed it wasn't his kind of work. He was prompt, efficient, responsible, and honest with us. We couldn't have asked for more under the circumstances.

The reason we did not hire this company was because of the salesman (Gary) -- he knew about garages and construction but he spent far too much time talking about what a horrible job every other company would do -- "Did the other guys tell you this? They may say they'll do this but they won't, it won't be up to code, etc." and on and on, it was very unprofessional, offensive, and unnecessary, no other company we interviewed found it necessary to badmouth the competition and we did not hire them for this reason.
