The experience was fine. They were fine and they were good. They did everything right and everything was done good. The only thing was that, we only had brick removed from them and then they had to put it back. We didn't have a lot because we were having our basement dug out because of the wall leaking in that and we had to have the wall removed and the wall put back. We did have something new put in or construct anything, they just came and removed the brick and then came back and put the brake back in and they did good. They were great, did what we wanted and they put it back and it looks very nice. We didn't really get an estimate from anybody else. We just talked to them because we had to get somebody else here fast and that's why we went to Angie's list. They were fair. It's hard to grace because the work was there already. They were here when they were supposed to be.

From start to finish Trace was easy to get a hold of through email and responded quickly. He came out and gave an estimate, which based on other estimates I received, it was a fair price. The pricing was broken down by parts and labor. He gave good recomendations about what he thought would look best and came out quickly to install once the down payment was paid. They somehow were able to put up the entire pergola in just one day. Very well built and exactly what we wanted. I would definitely use Trace for future landscaping projects and happily recommend him to others.

We used Tab for snow removal services. They were prompt and responsive--even checking in if we needed service when snow fall was light. They can use email and texting to communicate. The snow removal quality was excellent for both the driveway and side walk. We plan to use them again as wee all explore using them for other landscaping needs.

Trace did an excellent job keeping my driveway cleared of snow. He also takes into consideration that perhaps Medina did not get as much snow as Brunswick or Strongsville and therefore will reach out before showing up to make sure that we really do need a plow. He always replies promptly to emails or text messages. I have used Trace for landscaping projects, power-washing, and snow removal and in all aspects of his business, I find the same professionalism..

We have a tricky driveway- our family has tricks to go up the drive and not get stuck. One company refused to service us because of the incline. I arranged service by phone and was charged $30/plow for snow >3 " which I thought was reasonable. Pleased with the service, but there were days would have liked them to plow earlier

TAB cleared the driveway and walk when we had over 2 inches of snow. They were dependable and did an excellent job. We asked them to plow prior to a family party at our house and they were here shortly after our call.

This project was done in three stages. We searched Angie's List and called TAB Property Enhancement as one of the companies we wanted to get an estimate from. Trace returned our call within a day's time and came out to look at our project and e-mailed an estimate in short order. The actual construction was completed in 2-3 days time. After completion of the deck, Trace told us that we would need to wait three months to have the deck stained to allow the wood to dry out. Several weeks after the deck was completed, we noticed that the top rail mitired joints had separated as they dried. Trace promptly returned and replaced/repaired the affected rail boards. The hot summer and then wet fall delayed the staining which was finally completed in October. We also had this company do some landscaping around the existing concrete patio adjacent to the new deck and were pleased with the result. Trace and his crew were professional and cleaned up at the end of the workday. We were pleased with how this project turned out and the prompt resolution to the only problem that came up. We would definitely hire this company again.

Trace is wonderful, he has great communication skills, and is very understanding. However, he used a laborer who is the reason why I rated a B quality. After meeting with Trace to go over my plans, I was so impressed. Then, when he showed up to do the job, the kid who he used as a laborer is the reason why there is the 'flunkie contractor' stereotype. The kid was spending more time pulling up his baggy pants than doing work. He cut several pieces of wood inconsistent, so when they lined up, it was off. I requested they were recut, and Trace was very accommodating and remade the cuts. A comment was made that it was wasting money....but i paid for the lumber, it wasn't returnable, and if it needed to be redone to be right, it should be. Also, there was an issue with the wood ordered. Some of the pieces were rough cut and too large. Now living with the deck a year later, it's such an eyesore and i've had several splinters because of it. Trace mentioned it was not the normal pieces his supplier sends, but I wish he would've stopped the job, called the supplier and fixed the issue instead of using it. OR, cut them down to the proper size and smooth them with a finisher. There were also a few other cuts that were off that i saw the next day, but overall it was a very nice job. A very structurally sound deck.

Trace was quick to respond from the initial contact through my giving him an update on my yard after the work had been completed. He came up with some of his own ideas for how my patio could look, but was never pushy. I already plan to hire him in the spring to plant bushes and shrubs.

Trace was responsive and upfront about costs, layout, timeline, and results up front and was very easy to deal with. Computer generated design was provided, which was a nice touch. Lead time at estimate was about 6 weeks, and Trace was able to keep on schedule. Build time was 1 week. The small skid steer brought onsite to move materials and dig footings tore up the yard a little, but since it was being reseeded after grading, I wasn't going to be too put out by that. Construction went well and once complete, looked well done. Yard was graded and seeded, but due to the hot, dry summer, did not fill in very well. I opted to not have Trace perform staining as I wanted to keep within my budget. Within the first month after construction, there were planks that were found loose or warped and obtaining follow up service (during the peak of the summer building season) was not as straightforward as it could've been. However, the overall experience was positive and I would recommend Tab for this line of work.

Trace and team arrived as promised, introduced themselves and proceeded to begin remove the window and install a door. The door was installed with working locks a day earlier. The next morning, Trace and team arrived to install the deck. All questions were answered as the installation of the deck was performed.Trace and his team were friendly, respectful and very professional, cleaning up as they worked towards completion. The deck was beautiful, larger than we expected, and well worth the money. Words can not explain how awesome the deck looks and the wood was so smooth. We plan on utilizing the services of Trace and his team for future projects as well as recommending them to potential customers. We would gladly recommend and hope that Trace, his team and Tab Property Enhancement would be given the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2012--Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I have used TAB before on two separate projects, both with very good results. I called for an estimate on shrub and bush trimming. Trace gave me a date of this week to come out for the estimate, but said it might be a few weeks before he could get to the actual work because of a backlog of other work. He called a few days later, said that he had finished early on a project and had time to fit our small amount of work into his schedule before he started other major work. They came out yesterday and completed the work quickly and very well. We are pleased with the results!

I moved into my house a little over 5 years ago. There was a deck off the back of the house, about 16x32, that was in need of repair back then. The past several years with no shade finally caused to deck to start to fall into disrepair. I never really used the space particularly because there was no shade and it got full sun in the summertime. This house hasn't had any major updates in years so I thought it was past due for a major renovation. I found TAB Property Enhancement through Angie's list. Trace, the owner, had excellent reviews. I contacted him and shortly after he stopped out to provide an estimate for what I wanted done. I talked with Trace about some ideas and he had some great suggestions to maximize the used of the deck and patio area I wanted to put in. He provided pictures of past jobs he has done and sketched the plans for my yard. He was very accommodating when I wanted to make adjustments to the plan and there were a few. I was able to send him pictures of things I liked and he was able to incorporate that into the plan. Trace was very easy to work with. The project included a complete tear out of a rather large area, which didn't take long. He was able to start building according to schedule and made excellent progress each day. I had a 20x10 deck installed with railings and a set of steps out to the yard and another to the side of the yard. I also had a pergola installed with a privacy/shade wall to the outside portion of the deck. Lighting was installed under the railings and in the steps. The best part is not only does it provide a very nice low light, it's on a timer! I love this feature!! Where the steps come off the side of the deck, I had a paver path installed leading to a 12x12 patio area with a built in fire pit. The fire pit is actually quite large which allows for a larger fire in the colder weather. I've already used this and love it!! I had landscaping done around the firepit, including arbovitae that will eventually fill in for privacy. I had landscaping done around the house that included adding soil, mulch, and planting boxwoods. A privacy fence was installed in sections on either side of the property to close everything off. Additional lighting was installed in several of the paver blocks on the path and around the firepit, which is perfect!! The rest of the area was seeded to provide more grassy area. This was a sizable project, yet Trace and his crew were able to complete it in about a week and a half. All of the guys were very polite and friendly. Each day when they left, everything was cleaned up and the driveway was blown off. The only last part of this project will be done in the spring. I am having all the wood stained, except the privacy wall and pergola on the deck. Those I had installed with cedar. They will be staining the other wood a cedar tone to match. Can't wait to see it totally finished! The backyard looks FANTASTIC!! I have gotten so many compliments. Neighbors are still stopping by to look. I have only one regret. That I didn't do this years ago!! Trace has followed up to make sure I'm happy with everything. I can say wholeheartedly yes. He turned a space I hated into an area I love. I highly recommend TAB Property Enhancement. Trace does excellent work. If I ever need something else done in the yard in the future, he'll be the first person I call.

Trace was very responsive and easy to work with. My wife and I were not exactly sure what we were able to get for our money between the need to fix the drainage issue and our desire for a new patio. He spent a lot of time with us in the design phase and promptly returned our calls and emails. Trace and his crew were all very professional and courteous. They answered all of my questions throughout the process. As a first-time home-buyer, this was one of the biggest projects we had undertaken since moving in. We were very nervous and inquisitive at first, but they did a great job of talking us through the project and making sure we understood what was going on and why. We would absolutely recommend Trace to our friends and family. We wouldn't hesitate to give him a call for future projects.

Trace was excellent. Though we chose not to go with him, it was not due to anything he did / didn't do. His prices were a bit higher than some of the other quotes, but I wouldn't hesitate to give him a call.

I had called another company prior to TAB, and they almost sounded annoyed that I called. Like I was wasting their time with my small job. This project was the reason I joined Angie's list in the first place! I wanted to find someone who wouldn't act like that - and would do quality work. I called Trace, and he was so polite! He scheduled a time to come and and meet me, and get the details of my project. He took his time - was not in a rush to get onto the next thing. I was very impressed. He not only was nice - but also seemed very experienced! I felt really confident in his abilities. I had a very specific vision in mind for my front porch railings. I have a nearly 100 year old house, and I wanted the railings to look authentic. My exact words to Trace were, "I want them to look like they have always been there!". He nailed it!!!!!!! They are beautiful!! He even took great care no to damage my existing landscaping. He even carefully trimmed my bushes to accommodate the new railings. The neighbors all complimented his work. One even asked for his number so he could do something similar in front of her house! :-) He does need to come back out in the spring to paint it - I guess pressure treated wood cannot be painted right away - which is totally acceptable. I can't wait to see them 100% complete!! We also had TAB power wash and re-stain my back deck. Trace had no issues at all with a last minute color change request. He used a very high quality stain. So many contractors will just use the "cheap stuff" to increase their profits. Trace made sure quality work was done! I was told this stain will last 5 years before it needs to be redone!! Thank you Trace (and your staining guy) for your hard work! I WILL be calling you back - hopefully next summer - to do that patio we talked about! *wink*

Trace came out to give me an estimate last year. Due to other repairs Needed, I put the job off until this year. When I contacted him again this year, he took the time to come out again, listen to what I wanted and give me an option that I had not thought of which I ended up choosing. At first, I was looking at composite decking. I was going to do the project in stages and put an awning over the deck. I ended up going with a cedar deck with a pergola. I really love the results. I'm sure I will enjoy my outdoor space so much more. They did an excellent job with the pavers also

You can feel comfortable with Trace. I know how incredibly import these summaries are. 3 months ago I was looking on Angie's List for someone to help me with my project. I reached out to a handful of companies but Trace and TAB were the most responsive from the get go. I asked Trace to come out and meet me and talk about the project. He did so and i liked his ideas, can-do attitude and follow-up. He was very consultative, helpful and generally nice to talk with. I looked through all his other projects and felt he would do a great job. I asked Trace to provide a general quote and layout of the yard incorporating my ideas. He did so and turned everything around very quickly. We discussed at great length my ideas for the entire space, the patio, the walkway and the custom fence. We had a couple iterations on the design and price and each time I worked with Trace I became more excited about the project and confident Trace would do a great job. We settled on a design concept, materials and layout and began work. I live in Tremont, so getting the custom fence permit approved proved to be the long pole in the tent so we had to reschedule a couple of times but that was not Traces' fault. He was very accommodating. The first day of the project Trace and his team arrived on time and starting at the demolition. Each day they accomplished a ton of work. I was surprised at the progress the team made every day. One of the things I really liked about working with Trace was when there was a challenge he found a creative way around it. For example, we had originally planned on a section of the fence to run a certain way but we ran into issues getting the post holes dug far enough below grade since there were some serious obstructions in the ground. Rather than make it a issue, Trace found a creative way to replan this section of the fence. I thought, this is why I hired him. I wish I could submit pictures of the finished yard. It looks amazing. Every person in my neighborhood has stopped by and remarked at the transformation. They has all said, "wow". Most of them are contacting Trace of other projects after seeing his work. If you want a professional job done and the "wow" factor don't hesitate to call Trace. You will not be disappointed.

Trace gave us a clear estimate of the total cost to recover unkept landscaping and to bring it back to the level of quality it was when he originally installed most of it. His work was very prompt and very high quality and, as always he goes a little above and beyond the original job estimate. We can't say enough good about Trace. He also does our snow removal in the winter and always keeps our driveway open and nice.

I haves used TAB for several jobs now. Always an excellent job. Just had him do a complete clean-up, trimming and mulching of all of our landscaping. I don't have to point out every little last thing that needed to be done. They took care to make sure everything looked great!

Everything went great! Trace's design was even better than I had hoped for! He and his staff were courteous, timely and professional. Start to finish 2 1/2 days. My neighbors can't believe it's the same yard!

Very, very happy with the outcome. Retaining wall, fence and landscaping is just beatuiful! All and all once the job started it went quickly, took just about 3 days to complete. Day 1 they tore out the existing retaining wall and all lanscaping bricks in the flower bed, around tree and back of yard. They also dug out all the post holes for the fence. All materials pulled out were hauled away that day. I was pleased to see the yard so clean even after all the work they did. Day 2 they had the retaining wall built along with the fence posts in the ground. I was surprised to see the amount of work that was accomplished by end of Day 2. Day 3 they finished with landscaping and putting up the rest of the fence. We were told that there was a minor issue where a piece of their equipment hit the corner of our house, denting/marking a small piece of our siding. They appologized for the incident and were able to come back out a week later to fix it. Once it was fixed, it was like nothing ever happened. We priced other landscapers and other fence companies, but found Tab through Angies List. We went with Tab because it was nice to have one company that would come out and take care of both jobs. Trace was professional and was able to work with us and provide us his opinion for landscaping ideas. The price was reasonable compared to what were quoted by the other companies. Even though Trace and company was very busy, I felt he responded well via email. I would definately call Tab again for other landscaping needs. Thanks again Trace!
