I first contacted Trace about 2 months ago. He came to my home and we discussed what I wanted which was a partial privacy fence and the rest a 4 foot fence around my whole yard. He sent me pictures and a price quote. The pictures and price were within my range and the pics were what I wanted. He told me the work would be done some time in September or the first of October since I was in no hurry. Sure enough, he contacted me to let me know that they would be here on October 2 to install my fence. They had all professional trucks, trailer and equipment. I met with 3 of his employees and they were all very nice and very professional. I had to leave the house for a couple of hours and left them to their work. I returned and the privacy fence portion was just what I wanted and looked fabulous. The rest of the fence was being put up by the three other men and looked great. When the fence, and two gates were complete and they were cleaning up, all I said was WOW. It looked fabulous. The workmanship was top notch and my yard was spotless. You would never had known that a fence was just built that day. My husband and I are extremely happy with the fence, workmanship and attitude of Trace and his crew. Next year Trace and his crew will be doing a bathroom remodel in my home. All I can say is that if anyone needs superior service for a fence or remodel or other yard upgrades, call Trace at TAB Property Enhancements.

We contacted Trace in May about building a new deck and patio at the beginning of a project that included waterproofing the rear wall of our house, removing several trees, removing an existing deck, replacing landscaping, and eventually installing a hot tub. Trace came to the house to discuss deck and patio options - composite vs. cedar, pavers vs. concrete, and ideas for landscaping. Following our discussion he emailed us a detailed illustration and estimate to help usvisualize several ideas. Trace also gave us the names and addresses of several of their completedprojects for us to inspect, which we did. We were very impressed by the quality of TAB's work, continued to tweak the plan via email, and had Trace come out a second time to finalize the plan so we could get on their calendar. Since Trace assured us he could complete our job by the end of the summer, based on their stellar reviews and Angie's List, the quality of their work, and the fact that TAB could handle all facets of the job, we decided to contract with TAB for our project. And the fact that Trace is my wife's former student sealed the deal. We spent June and July completing deck tear-out, waterproofing and tree removal. The last week of July TAB began tearing out our existing landscaping and grading and leveling the backyard. Actual construction began late August. As soon as materials were delivered, things began happening fast. First up was the new garage door. Carpenters Dan and Mike cut and framed an opening in the rear of our garage for a 7' x 7' overhead door. This included installing a header and removing a portion of the cement footer at the base of the opening. Next they framed the deck, and hauled, leveled and graded 14 tons of crushed limestone for the paver patio and walkway along the garage. While Dan and Mike and one helper worked on the deck, Trace and another helper worked on the patio. Trace, the owner, laid every one of the pavers himself. Installation of the pergola and fence panels followed; Trace and his crew were on the job at least eight days, and then returned on a Saturday to plant the new bushes, spread mulch, and complete the fire pit area. This was a very large project. At several stages we made minor changes and additions - lights embedded in the paver patio and in the deck steps; lattice privacy panels - and each time Trace was able to accomplish our wishes. We are more than happy with our completed project. The landscaping is tasteful. The lighting along the walkway and around the patio is both striking and functional. The pergola provides shade that replaces what we lost from our trees. The paver patio is a beautiful base for our hot tub. The privacy fence and lattice panels create an inviting and intimate space that is great for entertaining. And we're looking forward to years of maintenance-free enjoyment from our Azek composite deck. Trace and his crew are highly skilled, creative, hard-working, friendly and accommodating. They certainly fulfilled their promise to handle all phases of our project - deck, patio, pergola, fence and landscaping. We enjoyed working with TAB Property Enhancement and would certainly recommend them to others who are looking for landscape, deck and patio solutions.

Very pleased with the company's staff, work and the outcome. Although our yard is small, the design optimized the available space for a very comfortable sized deck. Owner communicated with us in a timely manner via e-mail, and collaborated effectively in finalizing the design. Staff were hard working, neat, courteous, and always happy to answer a question. Very good quality of materials used. The project was completed in a timely manner, less than one week for the construction part. Recommend this company without any reservations.

They were responsive. They gave me an estimate and did a drawing for me. It was what I wanted. There were a couple of small issues,delays along the way. They had to move a water line that ended up leaking and then they had to deal with that. Overall, I am really happy with the end product.

I have used Tab Property Enhancement for various jobs over the last 6 years. Whether it was yard maintenance, plowing, or a large landscaping project Trace and his team have been extremely prompt and professional. Great. I was very pleased with them. They did a very nice job. The owner did the work and he was fantastic, came here when he said he would and faxed the bill. I never heard a thing when he did it. The price was very fair. He was very good.

They came over on a Sunday to dig the holes. They returned Monday to set the posts & came back a day or so later to finish the job. They were very professional & cleaned up after themselves. We were so happy with our fence, we recommended them to my brother, who did end up using them for their fence.

My first contact with Trace (the owner) was at the end of May. He came out and we discussed the flooding issue we had been experiencing and replacing the falling timber log walls with stone walls. I also requested a railing be placed around the front porch and step area. I told Trace I had read on Angie's list that he was booked through the months of July and August and he advised that it was due to all the rain that we'd had, which I understood. Trace left his very nice brochure with us and advised he'd send an estimate within several days. We had received the estimate on June 1, 4 days after his visit. I sent the proposal back the same day and Trace advised he would be in touch with a start date. Trace contacted me on July 17th with a possible start date the week of August 18th and advised of deposit requirement. I mailed the deposit the next day. The week of August 18th came and during this time, the house painter I had contracted with was ready to begin his work, so I emailed Trace asking if it was possible to delay our landscaping project a week or two due to the painter, and he happily obliged due to the rainy weather causing delays with the projects he was currently working. I contacted Trace after the painter had completed his work and advised we were having gutters installed on September 5, and after that we'd be ready for the landscaping project. Trace contacted me immediately to advise he would be out the following week to review our plans and gave me a heads up that he had 2 projects scheduled ahead of mine. We set up the appointment and Trace met with me on the scheduled day and time, which was September 1. We reviewed the work that was to be done and Trace advised he would keep me updated with his status, which he did as we had rain for several days in a row. Our project began on September 17 and was completed the next day, which was a nice surprise because Trace had estimated it would take 3 days to complete. Trace was on the job with his crew and EVERYONE was pleasant, courteous, professional, skillful, and worked diligently at their assigned tasks. Trace kept me updated with the progress and we discussed how the one wall would be placed due to a sewer pipe being in the same area. Trace is very experienced and when faced with an issue, he comes up with options, discusses it with you, and things work out! The crew hauled away the old timber logs and cleaned up after themselves. Our experience with TAB Property Enhancement was a great one and we strongly recommend them and will use them again! The work they did was exceptional!

After a rough winter the deck was left in need of cleanup and stain. Due to a really rainy summer, it was difficult to get it scheduled. Trace was really good about keeping in contact so I knew I was not forgotten. The deck was power washed and stained over a month ago. It looks like new again and the water is still beading on the surface.

Based on the favorable reviews on Angies list we contacted Trace by email for an estimate for a new deck and fire pit. He was prompt in getting back to us and arranged a time and date for the estimate. At our estimate visit we discussed several options. Trace was very patient with this process as we wanted know all of our options. We settled on a new deck resurface of pressure treated pine with and a gravel fire pit installation. We had to wait to start the work as we were also having our basement waterproofed and was not sure if the work was to be done inside or outside in the area of the deck. As soon as we knew that no work was to be done in the deck area we contacted Trace to do the work. Since it had been a fair amount of time since his last visit he came back out to review the plans. At this time we noticed that previously installed deck had settled in one corner. Trace gave us two options; one to block the existing structure to level it (to reduce cost for the repair) and one to rebuild a new structure. We went with the later, good thing as I will describe later. We also added lighting and red western cedar to the estimate as Trace gave us such a fair price for the upgrade. The work began about a month later, delayed by our basement work and the weather. Trace's team came out to remove the old deck. I was impressed by their skill and professionalism. As they were removing the old deck they discovered water damaged rotten wood under the fireplace area due to faulty installation of the removed deck. This may not have been discovered had we not gone with the total rebuild. They asked for permission to fix it. (of course I obliged as our fireplace could have fallen out one evening due to wood rot) I also told them that we get a lot of cold air in around the deck area of the house and they agreed to also put a wrap on it to seal the air out. The installation of the deck and fire pit seemed quick and effortless. I even made changes to the plans during the installation (wider steps and recessed pavers in the fire pit) which Dan and the crew were more than willing to accommodate. They did a great job of cleaning up their mess, almost as if they were not here. A few days later Trace came out to make sure we were happy with the work and to redefine the flower beds and put in plant material which he mulched with pine straw that I had here. He also brought in some top soil and reseeded the grass area by the deck. In review I couldn't be happier with our new cedar deck and fire pit. The lighting is as beautiful by day with the copper fixtures as it is lit by night. The red western cedar is gorgeous (and Trace's specialty) I highly recommend it over treated pine. The fire pit is exactly what I envisioned, rustic yet finished. Trace and his crew were such a joy to work with. I think that we have found 'our guys' for future work. Trace, if you read this would love to have you and your crew back for everything from landscape work and basement finishing. If you have Tab Property Enhancement do your work, you will not be disappointed.

We dealt with Trace the owner for quote and design ideas. Trace was very knowledgeable and understood our needs. Due to prior out of town commitments Trace was not able to be present for the work. This originally was a cause for concern but his crew leader Dave was highly capable of taking charge. Dave and the crew came out on a Wednesday and started the project at 9:00 am and worked to 5:00 pm each day. They were very professional and hard working. I expected the job to be done on Friday but some unexpected minor glitches delayed completion until Monday, one was of my own creation by requesting some extra work. The deck is very substantial and well constructed. Finishing touches such as rounding the edges of the deck boards and railing give it a truly professional look. The crew cleaned up very well after each days work. Trace did come to inspect at completion of the work and verified our satisfaction. Overall I would highly recommend TAB Property Enhancement to anyone looking for a new deck installation.

I have to say that the owner was very responsive and did provide an estimate as requested. The estimate was extremely high! I have an existing above ground pool that is only 14 feet around that I wanted moved back about ten feet. I asked for the ground to be leveled in the new area. That's it. I was quoted 240.00 for timber wood, 100.00 for hadware, 232.00 for sand, 200.00 for topsoil, 100.00 for grass and straw. The top soil and grass is to be ued to repair the area under the existing pool (which I did not request an estimate for). Either way, 200.00 for top soil and 100.00 for grass seed seems EXTREMELY high for a 14' area. Also, if I add up all materials it totals $872.00. My total estimate was for $2672.00 - $275.00 for Angie's List discount for a net total of $2397.00!! 1800.00 in labor to pour some sand and put wood around a 14' pool seems very high to me. My sister and I bought 11 bags of sand at home depot for 30.00 total and poured it under the pool in less than 30 minutes! We didn't have the means to level the sand which i why I looked for an estimate to begin with but I would rather deal witha pool that is slightly uneven than pay 2400.00 to level my back yard for a 300.00 pool!

We didn’t use them. They were very expensive. A friend of mine put a fence up for us. The quote was $1000 more than others. There was no good and no bad; we just didn’t use them. They were very good with their quote. They got right back. They just presented a quote. I said no, and that was it.

Well, it didn't go. Draw your own conclusion. Looks like between 7/21 and 7/26 our job somehow fell to #11 or more. 8/6/14 Trace asked us to reconsider our rating as he did tell us from the start he could not meet our timetable. We have reconsidered and improved his rating. He had offered to work up a two-part estimate, but then, after having 10 outstanding estimates turn into active orders, no estimate was forthcoming. It's difficult to assign an A rating when no price is quoted for comparison, no work is done, and there is no quality to be assessed.

Overall the job went very well. The owner (Trace) was actively involved in the project - both managing and working. He did a very good job of communicating with us about the progress of the project as well as seeking our input if needed. It's a little too early to judge the overall quality of the project but we are pleased so far.

I decided not to have the work done, at this time, due to some unforeseen issues. However, Trace was quick to reply to my inquiries, and I would definitely consider him in the future.

Trace is extremely responsive and professional, two things that I have had trouble finding with contractors. When a rainy month pushed back our start date, he was quick to email or call to let me know the status of the project. He is in a good mood, positive and makes you feel appreciated as a customer…he even helped my wife bring the groceries in from her car! A nice little touch. The quality of the work was great and they were in and out in a timely manner. i would definitely use Trace again.

I contacted this company by email on 6/3 to request an estimate for some landscaping and fence installation in my back yard. Trace emailed me back the following day and asked for my address which I provided. He then emailed me stating that he had me scheduled for an estimate on 6/17 at 6:30. Since I am available in the evenings, that worked out fine but there was no conversation at all. He basically just told me the date and time when he was coming. I made sure I was home and waited around but no one ever showed up for the estimate appointment. I chose this company because of all the great reviews on Angies list but am very disappointed. They may do great work, but I think that not showing for an appointment is very unprofessional. If something else came up, I would have been happy to reschedule. I didnt even get a phone call or anything else. Just never heard from them. I definitely would not hire this company to do any work for me if they cant even show up for the estimate. Update 6/30: I was contacted by the service provider to reschedule my estimate. He showed up on time and was professional. He provided me with a fair price for the work I needed done. I will update and give a final review once the work is complete. Update 7/16: Work was completed to my satisfaction.

Trace replaced some old shrubs by the lamp post with newer plants and perennials. They cleaned out the beds, edged all the beds, and put in new mulch. All of the bushes were trimmed. We had a hard rain and they stayed under the eaves by the front door waiting for it to stop. I think Trace chose good workers because they all looked happy and joking while they were working. The yard looks fantastic! One of the best looking front yards in the neighborhood.

Great job. Everything looked great but then a section of the deck developed an issue with the stain. They came back right away and fixed the problem. Trace is very responsive to messages and e-mails. Very professional.

Trace provided excellent excellent professional service. He did all the power washing which impressive results. He had another man man stain the deck also with excellent results. Use Tab company with confidence. Highly recommended!

The work was finished in one day and completely changed the look of the backyard. Our neighbors were impressed with the results. TAB will be doing renovations on our front yard this summer.

Trace was great to work with. Diligent, excellent follow up, fairly priced and kept me up to date as to the status of this project. He did a great job for us. I would highly recommend TAB Property Enhancement - I will be requesting more quotes for future projects that we will have in the fall.

Trace returned our call immediately and arranged to visit our property. He arrived at the appointed time and gave necessary options to the work we wanted done. We were intending building a ramp and deck so our handicapped adult son could enter our home. Shortly after Trace performed the above work our son informed us he was moving out of state. We contacted Trace to inform him as soon as we heard of the move. We have not heard back from Trace and are hopeful he had not purchased materials. If he has incurred costs we will reimburse him.
