We had Jason install 10 dimmable recessed lights and replace two lights in our bathroom. Jason was prompt, professional, and polite and based on that he was the only quote we sought out. Jason did the job exactly as explained... actually better, and did a good job cleaning up as well. Would definitely recommend and hire for future projects.

These guys were great. Good communication beforehand, provided a solid quote and did the install exactly as I had hoped for. This was for a 100 amp circuit for a high powered charger for my Tesla electric car. Jason is great, dependable and trustworthy. They got the whole job done in a day and cleaned everything up before they left. I’ll definitely hire JAS again. Highly recommend. A+

Very good. We had an outage in the house, and we called the electric person, whoever's in charge of the thing. They said we have to call the electrician for you to come out. So they came and checked and an electrical electrician came out. There were some disconnections when they came out to the house. It was in some part of my house, not all of it. He dealt with my husband, so I'm not sure on the cost. The one thing we liked is it didn't take much time. They found out immediately, and it was excellent on time and money as well. Everything was excellent. They did a very good job.

Did not hire but JAC Electric came promptly to give a thorough estimate & educated me in electrical matters.

Jason was great to work with from start to finish he also recomended a company to repair the holes in the ceilings where they had to work and they did an excellent job with the patchwork i could not even tell there were any holes there

1st time- failed to show up for appointment; 2nd attempt - said he had an electrical emergency & cancelled

It went Great. It was a lot of work but we couldn't be any more pleased. Jason was very nice and very professional. He knows his stuff and it showed in his workmanship.

It went extremely well. Jason was kind enough to allow me to walk with him during his evaluation, which I know can be annoying to some contractors. But not Jason - he was kind and professional the whole time. He explained every review he was making, what he was looking for, and how he would be able to help us not only get up to code, but make it safe and sleek. He was incredibly detailed, and his report was wonderfully presented and easy to follow. He would go on to replace our electric panel the following week. It is by far the best job I've ever had done by a contractor. Flawless work, beautiful presentation. He truly goes the extra mile to give his customers not only function, but the best success rate moving forward. We started with a mess of cables and lines, with a 50 year old outdated panel, and ended with a brand new panel, beautifully crafted and organized. Now everything is sleek and clean, easy to cover, and my wife and I now are confident our system will run smoothly for years. Our old panel would randomly shut itself off...now we have a reliable and safe system we can be proud of. I love showing off our new home to our friends and family and now I want to include the work Jason did!

Jason returned my phone call within 5 minutes of leaving a voicemail, and we setup an appointment for the next morning. He was on time and very courteous when he arrived. His work was done very professionally, explained everything he was doing, and he cleaned up nicely after he was done. I was very pleased with his work, and would recommend him highly. I felt his prices were very reasonable, and will definitely use him again in the future.

It went great! So professional and very nice and prompt. The original reason I called them was to fix a broken switch on my garbage disposal. We've live in the house for 17 years and our kitchen was very dark due to the fact that the lighting designer talked us out of putting a light over the sink. For that period of time, it bothered me! So..I called JAC electrical and they put in a fixture! Great company!

Everything went very well! I called JAC on Thursday, July 23 to schedule an appointment. I got through right away and was put on the schedule for the following Wednesday. The electricians showed up early to do the work. They listened to my concerns and got busy right away. Both were friendly, and they completed the work to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend JAC to others and would hire them again!

Scheduling the appointment was the hardest part of this job. The owner was unresponsive. It took a long time just to get the appointment scheduled. The two installers who showed up were nice. They were clear on the requirements to install the fans, including the need to install special converters to the wiring. They worked quickly and efficiently ( I did pre-assemble the fans as much as I could to help save time). They were clean. The job was done well. I would hire them again. I would just like the owner to work a little on his customer service skills.

It took some time for them to respond to my initial message. However, I was able to schedule a time for a quote within a week or so of Jason calling me back. Two workers showed up on time and I agreed to have them do some of the work that day because they were already at the house and available. They were to provide a quote for the remaining items subsequently. They were very professional and personable. They also took care to clean up after themselves when finished. I was happy with the quality of the work and their ability to quickly finish. I provided a C rating because the ensuing lapse of communication regarding my invoice and additional items that were to be quoted is severely lacking. I have now emailed both emails provided for this company and left a voicemail with no reply. It has now been 6 weeks since the original service was performed and I still haven't received my invoice or quote even though I provided payment on the day of the service for the work performed. I shouldn't have to continually call and harass the provider to receive my invoice. This is unacceptable. I was likely going to use this provider for additional work, but now my business will go elsewhere. Very disappointing.

The installer arrived on time. All of the installation proceeded without any complications. The installer provided documentation for the installed device that afforded us our warranty. I should have asked more questions about the device. It offers a one time protection against a catastrophic surge event. It is not a device that can be reset and used after the occurence of such an event. I would have like to have known this prior to purchase. I may have investigated further options and chosen otherwise. The installer was extremely professional and I would recommend him in the future and call upon him for further electrical service work.

I used this company last year to have a ceiling fan installed - they did a great job with that so when I found out I needed to get my electrical panel updated this was the first company I thought of using. Not only was Jason quick to respond to my request for a quote, the amount was very reasonable. They sent out 2 guys to do the work (one of which was the guy that did the work for me last year). They did a great job, explained everything and they were very professional.

I bought a switch, a light kit, and a ceiling fan. They came with 2 guys. They fixed everything that needed to be replaced. They were very professional. They did not need to replace the fan.

Late in the evening I discovered our freezer was not working and found the outlet unpowered. I checked the main electrical panel and found a tripped cb which I attempted to reset. It would not reset. I sent an email to Jason at JAC Electric with a list of days that we would be available for any required repair. I got an email and a text response right away and Jason had someone scheduled to come over the next morning. Bob arrived right on time and checked the outlets and then confirmed the cb was bad and he replaced it quickly. As the panel had been installed by J A C last May there was no charge for the service call or replacement of the cb. That kind of support and response is rare these days and I can not recommend J A C Electric highly enough.

The technician was very helpful, and set our garbage disposal and outlets straight. Needed to do some additional (and unexpected) work to get the disposal wired properly and the ceiling fan mounted safely, due to some quality issues with the work done by the home's previous owners, but the technician got it all done, and done well, in one day. Costs were a little higher than we expected, but we also didn't expect the issues that did exist, and it was well worth the cost for a job well done.

In a word I found J.A.C. Electric disappointing. I had purchased a deal for the installation of a ceiling fan in my dining room for $75.00 and I knew that since I had an older house they would probably need to install a fixture box which would ensure that the ceiling fan stays properly in place. I also knew from the deal that the cost of the installation of said box would be $99.00 The first problem I encountered was that the installers Bob & Eric were late. They never called to let met know they would be late nor did they apologize when the showed up late. I consider punctuality very important since I consider my time valuable. Once they started I was informed I needed to have the fixture box installed and that as I stated previously the cost would be an additional $99.00. While this service was being performed I decide to Google the fixture box they were installing and discovered that you could purchase this box for between $20 and $30 dollars. Seeing as the installation of the box was minimal, I found the $99 fee to be excessive. Considering that companies use the Angie's list deals in order to get future customers I found this excessive markup discouraging and led me to determine that I wouldn't use this company again. After the fan was installed, I noticed that one of the blades was wobbly and inquired if they were going to adjust the fan blade. I was informed that there was an implement in the box to adjust the fan blade and there were instructions on how to perform the adjustment and it was tricky and time consuming and I would have to adjust the fan blade myself. There was nothing tricky about the adjustment and I was able to do it in under five minutes. I see no reason why they didn't perform this service and leave me with a properly installed fan. In fact, I had another company install the same exact fan in my living room and they made sure everything was perfect before they left. Based on the foregoing I can't in good conscience recommend this company to any other customers of Angie's List.

J.A.C. Electric failed to return any of my calls. I ended up contacting someone else who replaced both lights for half the cost I was charged by J.A.C. Electric when the lights were originally put in.

We were told by phone that the rate for the first hour was higher than any subsequent hours, but the rates seemed fair. The electrician from JAC (not Jason himself) arrived on-time for the appointment. I explained the situation and showed him all of the areas that were without power. He then spent the better part of 2 hours trying to locate the source of the outage and it appeared, at least to me, that he was getting somewhat mystified himself. When the outlets and lights suddenly turned on, he actually seemed a bit surprised. He spent a bit of time cleaning up and replacing outlet covers and departed. On Sunday, October 12th, the same outlets and lights unexpectedly went out in the middle of the afternoon. When I did some investigating, I found new wires in the basement that had not been there previously, and there was fully exposed copper wiring! I have attempted to contact Jason 3 times requesting that someone please return to the house (Oct 13, Oct 25, and Nov 6) and have heard nothing at all. The lack of response is completely unprofessional, and I was hoping to avoid leaving a review like this, but one can only be so patient. Really disappointed here.

Bob came & installed two new ceiling fans for us. He was punctual & hard working. We were very pleased with the results & we would use the company again for electrical services.
