+ -1 moreWe have owned our home for over 5 years, and the heat pump is original equipment to the home (>20 years old). We have used E&L heating since we moved in and are members of their annual clean and check / discount program. The service is fantastic - they remember to call us to schedule our semi-annual system checkups, are always on time, the service personnel are fantastic, interact extremely well and explain technical issues in an understandable way, etc. E&L Heating has saved us thousands by catching problems and extending the life of our heating system. We will one day need to replace our existing system, and I fully intend on calling on E&L Heating to provide that service as well!

Description of Work: We called to have them give us quotes on a new HVAC system, but either they did not serve our area or it was going to be too many days before they could have someone come to the house (can't remember which). We were very cold since our furnace had broken and we needed the work done right away, so we didn't schedule them.

Description of Work: I was in the market looking for a brand new high efficiency furnace and a new A/C. I never had A/C so they would have had to put in new vents, new lines, new everything. Pretty much I needed a ton of work to be done. I enjoyed my interaction with everyone I had talked to. There was one or two things I would have wanted done a little different so the original design of the house wasn't altered too much. Other than that, I would have gone with them, however, I found a contractor who did the same exact thing I wanted for $1,000 less. Please don't hold this against me, but sometimes I need to do what's best for the pocket book and for the amount I can afford. I do think E & L would have done a fabulous job since I have seen their work at other people's houses. Maybe next time?
