Description of Work: I had water in my living room after a big storm and was having trouble finding someone who could identify the cause. Bill (the owner) came out and was able to explain what had happened and why very clearly. Because I live in managed community, and the fix was something the community needed to fix, I did not hire the company. I was not charged for the consultation. I would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: I had been noticing the floor in my 30 yrs addition has been slowing sloping on the right side. I have been very happy with my addition! It has served our family well over the years:) I was given Bill's name by a realtor friend. Bill came out and looked. The floor was in fact sloping on the right side by several inches. Bill wasn't sure what the issue was, but provided a viable solution to fix it. During our conversation, I mentioned I had the paper work for the original builders. Upon showing the contract, Bill knew the original builders- Season Contractors, and said he would follow up with Don Cacciacarne, the owner. It wasn't long after that Don Cacciacarne, from Season Contractor's called me asking to come look at the addition. It was confirmed that the floor was slopping. Don told me he stood by his work and would take care of the slopping floor. I was extremely impressed by both the professionalism of both these gentlemen and their companies. I would highly recommend Bill and Clint Builders for work. Bill took the time and contacted Don and really facilitated the fixing of the slopping floor. He may have unintentionally, "lost" the bid for this job, but showed great character in doing the right thing. As did Don. I would definitely call Clink Builders in the future. ***This review was for my mother's home

Description of Work: Clink came in to straighten a bowed basement wall. We found the wall would not straighten without cracking, instead it was replaced with a new one with additional expense. Bottom line the wall is straight and no water is coming in. Happy so far.

 + -1 moreWorked extensively with City of Westlake to identify the problems involved, to keep me abreast of the City permits, and to minimize the repair costs to me. He responded quickly -- within an hour -- and would keep me posted on the job's progress. He was efficient and responsible. He backfilled everything to make it look like there was barely any intrusion in the yard. He is very honest and communicated everything upfront. He was onsite to supervise his workers, and they do exactly what he tells them. He did a great job! The work really needed to be done, and I can't believe it has been taken care of so quickly!
Description of Work: Repaired a storm T and storm piping on my home, changing it from clay to PVC pipe.

 + 0 moreThey thought it would be a $5,000 job but when they put the camera down there, they found that the holes on the PVC pipe were on top instead of the bottom and the original contractor didn't put any gravel in. Clink had to dig entirely around the house and tarred it up and waterproofed it and put the pipes in the right way. They did excellent work on both jobs. The deck was $13,000 and it was better than the deck I had before. They did quality work. Their price was competitive and they beat out the other estimates we got. Their professionalism was great and they cleaned up nicely and left nothing to chance. I would use them again.
Description of Work: I used Clink Building & Contracting to waterproof my basement. They also put a deck in for me. They had to remove the original deck to do the basement work and it was 25 years old and needed to be replaced. They finished last week.

THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP UNTIL 6/12/05, AFTER I CONTINUALLY HAD TO PHONE THEM SAYING I NEEDED IT DONE IMMEDIATELY AS PROMISED. THEY FINISHED THE JOB ON 6/18/05. ON 7/21/05 AFTER RAIN, THE BASEMENT WAS LEAKING IN THE REGION OF THE OUTSIDE STEPS. IT TURNS OUT CONTRACTOR DECIDED, WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR WRITTEN DESCRIPTION IN CONTRACT, THAT HE WOULD NOT WATERPROOF UNDER THESE STAIRS. I PAID FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE TO BE DONE, NO EXCEPTIONS. HE SAID HE WOULD DO STEPS NEXT DAY, BUT HE NEVER SHOWED OR CALLED. WILL NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS REGARDING STEPS AND NOW I CAN'T GET A HOLD OF HIM TO FIX BASEMENT WATERPROOFING. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST SIX WEEKS SINCE HE PROMISED TO DO STEPS ASAP. HAS ONLY RETURNED ONE OF SEVERAL DOZENS OF PHONE CALLS AND THEN DOES NOT FOLLOW-UP. FEEL HE IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ME, BECAUSE I AM A SINGLE WOMAN.
