Bill and Dottie communicate with you the entire timeand answer all questions. No secrets! Imagine that! Scott and Eric were great also. Scott would arrive early and setup the site. They used sheets of plywood on the yard to limit lawn damage, great! Eric also took care to get in and clear out my sump drain and then they jetted them to open them up. All of this wasn't part of the original project, but they knew it was wrong to just put it back without fixing it the right way. I would have not even known, but this group doesn't operate that way. I can't say enough about Bill and his group and how wonderful they were to me and my wife and keeping us informed every step along the way. STOP SEARCHING! I MEAN IT! I had hoped that checking out Angie's List would make finding a provider easier, but it was still overwhelming reading reviews and wondering who to trust. I had valid concerns about a home my parents were purchasing in my neighborhood to be closer to me. There was a lot riding on the service we needed and it had to be completed in a tight time frame. When I spoke with Dottie, she explained the process and that she would have Bill give me a call to talk with me further about the situation. I explained to Bill that the home inspector suggested having a pipe video inspection due to some large cracking in the basement floor and walls. Bill offered to meet me at the house and take a look before actually scheduling the inspection. I felt better already just having spoken with Bill. I could tell he was a direct and knowledgeable man and that was what I needed. Not a salesman. I met with Bill who fit me in before his regular work day schedule, and decided to go ahead with the inspection. The sellers were not happy about us having the inspection and kept changing the time that they would be available to let us in the house. Dottie had the camera man, Eric, call me directly. Eric gave me his number and told me to call him that evening at home when the sellers made up their minds. We set a time and he was willing to change his schedule to accommodate these people. They ended up changing the days and times twice more on us, but Eric patiently made it work and I was so grateful. Eric arrived on time for the job. He was friendly and kind and he was respectful of the seller, who shouldn't have been there. He was very thorough and worked very h****** a very hot day. I was confident that he knew what he was doing and if something puzzled him, he worked through it until it made sense. We ended up not purchasing the home, mostly based on the sellers' actions than anything else. But I felt very lucky to find Dottie, Bill and Eric when I did. If you need any of the services they provide, you will have professional people who care about the job and about helping you by doing a thorough job with competitive prices. I'm not one to give out A's really easily but Bill and his team really did do a fantastic job. I waited several months to write this review b/c I wanted to see if everything would hold up and IT HAS! The only thing that keeps me from giving them an 'A+' is that I had some marks left on my driveway from the tracks on the bobcat (which I need to powerwash to remove) and I had to cut the cleanout down to ground level (which Bill offered to come back and do). I would not hesitate to use Bill again in the future, I've recommended him to others who have used his service and had great experiences. I really appreciated Bob's honesty and approach. I originally was going to replace the whole line which Bill would have been happy to do. However, he felt doing so would be a waste of money for me. In retrospect, he was right. We addressed the break and haven't had any issues since. Nice job, thanks!

Dottie was very organized and timely with the quote and in answering any questions I had. She got the job scheduled quickly and easily. The crew arrived on time and began work promptly. After removing the new siding then old siding and whatever was used as sheathy, very messy, the rotted timber was exposed. Work stopped momentarily, the crew quickly came up with a solution & more importantly it didnt cost me more $. 1 crew member ran out for additional supplies while the other stayed and continued to work. Again the additional supplies did not increase the quote. The work was still completed on time, even with the unforseen problem that came up. This is the first time I've used the company but had them out for another quote before this and they have always been easy to deal with and have always offered solutions & advice that was in my best interest. Will definitely call them 1st on any future projects & highly recommend them to others. I was crunched for time with this project and they were the only contractor who was able to get it done right and done fast.

The Project went very well. I have had a gravel driveway for the past 13 years at was time for a cement driveway. Bill Clink came in and gave me an two very detailed and honest estimates. They were not the highest or the lowest in cost, but Bill was easy to talk to and explained everything that could and could not be done. They followed up on our conversations and provided similar driveways like mine to go and look at. The driveway was scheduled to be put in while my family was away on vacation and all want well. I came back to a beautiful new sloping and curved new driveway. They sealed the cement immediately and will come back in the fall to put another application of sealant for good measure. A very good experience.

I will certainly use and recommend Clink in the future. I noticed some mineral deposits on the basement walls caused by water. I had Clink come out to take a look, and they diagnosed the problem as water not properly draining from the downspouts. They videoed three of the downspouts and discovered that all had cracks and roots in the pipes under the ground. They replaced all three. I am extremely picky, and they did a wonderful job. Not only did they not make any mess, it looked even neater than before the job was done because of the way the stacked the creek rock to hide any visible signs of the pipe.

Didn't start as soon as we wanted but weather and building permit were a problem. Very efficient crew, along with Bill , Eric and Scott, plus a few others, the work went smoothly. Things were cleaned up to our satis.fication,

They were busy, but the communication was excellent and I was happy to accommodate them. I know it's a busy time for those in the construction business. The guy that came out had some excellent ideas about working the new steps in so that they blended with the existing concrete and brickwork in the front of the home. He went to various stores to find matching bricks, had some used sandstone steps that blended well and dyed the mortar to match perfectly with what was already there. They worked with me to get the required permits, etc. They were very professional and stayed committed to the job until complete. They did a nice job of cleaning up. The office manager, Dottie, was very friendly and stayed on top of keeping me informed of what was going on. The end result are two new steps that are easy to navigate and look like they were built with the home. Exactly what I wanted.

It was fabulous. They were here for every delivery of materials, were punctual, kept the house clean, were respectful of my pets and most importantly the family room, living room and master bedroom look amazing!

Bill explained very clearly how he would fix the wall, and his solution met my expectations for cost and durability. The work was completed quickly, and Bill and his team were punctual, professional, and very friendly throughout the process. They answered all my questions and kept the work site clean and neat. They avoided damage to the surrounding lawn as much as possible and even offered to remove shrubs and a paver patio (at no extra charge) that I was planning to dig out myself. That saved me a lot of effort. I'm very confident the basement wall is fixed forever, and my basement is completely dry.

My wife and I are in the market to purchase a home . We had looked at many homes and found one which we liked and were prepared to make an offer to purchase it. The major area of concern to use was that there were several large vertical cracks in two basement walls and the waterproofing system didn't appear to be doing a good job. Thank goodness we decide to have the issue looked at before making an offer.We spoke to structual engineer who recommended Clink Building and Concrete. We followed up by going to Angie's List to see how their cusotmer rates had been. After reviewing the ratings we knew Bill was the person to get in touch with. We had several telephone conversations outlining the our situation concerning the issues with the property. We made an appointment for Bill to due an inspection of the property. He is a Top Notch Professional and has been in the business since 1969. Bill looked at everything both inside and out and kept us informed about all of the issues and what was need to correct them.Bill said that there were several approached to correcting the issues but that there was only one correct way to do them. I felt that his estimate was right on considering what needed to be done. Unfortunately we did not get the home as someone came in with what we felt was too high of and offer, considering the work which would be reqiured.to correct the issues with the home. We are very happy that we did not follow the advise of some people who suggested just making an offer and see what would happen after the inspection.We wolud like to thank Bill for his time and honesty. They had a busy day so they started on Wednesday and finished by Saturday. They cleaned up too! I think they were wonderful. It was about the best person that we ever dealt with. I have projects lined up for him to do in the future.

It took three phone calls and one email to get that guy to come out here. That was the part I was not very happy about. It was frustrating. But I really like the guy himself. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about, and he explained everything. However, he was a little late in getting to his work, so I got worried. I think I would still use him again in the future, because he kind of knew what he was talking about.

We were in process of bidding on a house with some foundation issues. The seller had disclosed the issue and provided one estimate for repair. We wanted to have our own estimate to help us in our negotiations. We also needed an expert opinion on the severity of the issue and level of urgency. Bill's wife Dot (who answers the phone and coordinates) got in touch with Bill who called us back immediately. He happened to be on the same side of town as the house, so he asked if he could take a look right away. I called my realtor and set up a meeting at the house in an hour. Bill provided a detailed estimate for repairs and gave us his expert opinion on the severity/urgency. Both Bill and Dot lived up to the reviews on Angie's List. They were understanding, honest, helpful - and really helped us in a pinch. We are now in process of buying the house and will go to Clink Building and Construction whenever we need something (and will certainly use their services when we are ready to do the foundation work). I'd recommend them to anybody.

He was a little late for the appointment, but was one of the more honest contractors I dealt with. He recommended cleaning out my storm drains before doing any significant waterproofing, which would be much less expensive if that was the problem. He followed that up by suggestion by saying my city service department might come and clean them for me. He followed up with me in a few days and had called my city to find out the do this service. He went an extra mile considering he was suggesting a solution that didn't make him or his company any money.

The experience went well. He came out and told me everything that was wrong and what I needed to do. He recommended another contractor to come in and do the work.

The concrete work was immaculate and everyone was very easy to deal with. They dealt with any problems that came up and made changes that we wanted as the work progressed. We have the best looking driveway on the block and a dry basement.

I had a very pleasant and trustworthy experience with Clink Building. I had an overabundance of water coming into my sump crock. Clink came out with opinions of potential issues, but didn?t recommend any big expensive fix until he scoped it with a camera. That camera revealed a smashed downspout pipe 3 feet underground. He quickly fixed that, and now my sump is dry. I?ve found a good, reliable company I can trust.

Clink did an excellent job on our concrete. It looks great. They checked the pipe where our basement problem was and there in fact was a cracked pipe causing our problem. They repaired the pipe and made a number of other corrections to insure our drainage was correct. They did do waterproofing on a portion of the wall, but not to the extent the other contractors recommended. The employees are very friendly and professional. Bill Clink is too. He knows construction and takes pride in doing a good job. The did everything and more than hired to do. The project was hampered a little by Hurricane Sandy, but eventually things got moving again. I would hire Clink again and actually have done so to do a minor drainage job elsewhere on the property. I would recommend them to anybody.

It was great. Brian came out, and I described what we wanted done. He thought, then suggested a slightly different solution. My wife and I considered it, and they came out very soon after to do the work... Their office is very easy to do business with, and the work was fantastic! The hearth looks super, and they were quick and clean...

Clink Building & Contracting were in their price wise, but I wanted a different method for waterproofing. He was O.K. The quote was free. I wanted a HML 5000 type of waterproofing and they use an asphalt type of waterproofing. He came when he said he would.
