We read all the positive reviews on Clink Builders so decided to go with them after talking to a few other contractors. My husband spoke with Bill when he initially came to the house and he was impressed by his knowledge of the issue we were having with our yard flooding every time we have heavy rain. Bill had a solution and knew what to do right from the start. The only issue was the timing for the job. Since Bill is in high demand we had to wait some time before he was able to come out to start the job....but he got us in as promised. I appreciated him fitting us in before the end of the year so our drains will be in for the spring thaw. The job took two days and the drain around the house was hand dug. I was impressed at how clean the worker kept the yard. He dug a trench along the back of our house all the way to the front yard. When he was done, the grass was placed back over the trench so I can't even tell it is there. The other sections in the back were covered with gravel and it looks very professional. We are happy with the work performed. Will wait to see how well it works in spring when the rain comes. We are also going to work will Bill again in spring to install a new patio.

The contractor's waterproofing work did not withhold the water on this portion of the home. One cause could have been that when the resurfacing of the driveway was completed, the driveway was sloped towards the home and not away from the home. This more than likely caused water to gather and seep down into the crevices of this portion of the home.

Bill was the only contractor to be upfront and honest about the work that needed done and how much it would cost. I got estimates from a number of companies and even wasted money with one company with a slick salesmen with a less invasive solution (that failed structurally inside of a few months and didn't solve the water problem at all). There were some scheduling problems because of the aforementioned break in communication with another contractor but felt it was worth waiting for an honest contractor to perform the large amount of work needed. Bill was extremely knowledgeable and thorough both with his estimate and his description of how'd they do the work and why certain steps were needed. They dug down 8-10 feet, ripped out the broken footer tile, water proofed the wall and then back-filled with gravel and installed clean outs or access points at a couple points along the way. During the job there were a number of times Bill brought me outside to inspect what they had done and keep me up to date as to the progress. After finishing with the waterproofing they cut out holes n the foundation and filled in with concrete and rebar to strengthen the wall (serious cracking and it was starting to bow a little). When they were done with the job they put all of the landscaping back and there was almost no trace that they were there. The Job expanded from the original 15K amount due to the cracking found on the front of the house by the pouch which was unexpected, but seemed like the root cause for all my issues. The work was done over about a week and a half cause of the amount of work being done. His crew was careful to maintain all of the landscaping that they could and cleaned up the driveway every day after they were done. While they were coring the holes in the basement wall they cracked one of the panels of siding and his crew replaced it with one of the spare panels I had without batting an eye. (I'm surprised that more weren't cracked with the amount of work they did, that shows to me how careful they were in their work). When we were doing the final discussion Bill made a comment that the footer tile had cracked around the back corner and he dug that out and fixed it (~$1K) without adding it to the bill because he didn't want to expand the cost even more then the job already had. That completely floored me and re-affirmed that Bill is an honest contractor who truly cares about his clients. Dottie who manages the front office is also a pleasure to deal with. I have already recommended Bill to 3 other people in need of similar circumstances and I would use him again in a heartbeat if the need ever arose.

I found the owner and his crew to be knowledgeable as to the causes of the problem in my basement and clear in the explanation of the solution for it. Because of the rainy weather this spring/summer, the work could not begin until the middle of October. Extra care was taken each day to clean up an inherently dirty job. The entire crew accomplished a lot of work in a relatively short amount of time and we are pleased with the result.

We hired Clink builders for a waterproofing project we discovered needed to be done when we had our home inspection prior to purchasing our home. Bill and his guys were great. Keep us up to speed on what was going on and what other work we might want to consider in the future as we are new homeowners. Aside from doing the actual waterproofing, they also checked the furnace, looked into some water which had appeared In a totally different part of the basement, camera checked all of our drains to make sure we would not have further problems later. They worked fast, I think they were done in three days. Clink builders, Bill especially, were extremely knowledgable, professional and seem to actually enjoy what they do. Would definitely hire again!

The workers were friendly and professional. We were very happy with their service. The project took only a day and half. Again, we were pleased with the results.

Clink Builders was fast and efficient and extremely conscientious about treating our property with care. We had dreaded this job and anticipated a lot of destruction but it went very smoothly and we are completely satisfied with the work. Bill Clink and his staff were courteous and thoughtful, going so far as to lend a hand with carrying groceries to our door when our driveway was not accessible. Bill also contacted a professional arborist to determine the best plan for dealing with uprooted trees and shrubs. Quality workmanship from a quality company. We highly recommend Clink Builders!

Since the work is all outdoors it was dependent on the weather and the prior jobs, so patience is needed. The people were very nice. Once our deposit had been cashed we went over a month without any contact from them at all, which made us a bit uneasy at first. Once we initiated contact to get some kind of idea when we might have the work done, they got back to us fairly quickly and were always very pleasant. I spoke with Bill the Friday before he began the job and he was very knowledgeable and nice. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions in a friendly and professional manner. The work was done beautifully, quickly, and very professionally. They took care of everything we asked and beyond. We were very happy with their work.

Bill Clink and his staff were very professional and hardworking. The work was done on time and wonderfully. He subbed out additional landscaping work that we needed done to Sasak Landscaping, who also did phenomenal work which included removal of two rock walls and replacing them with Belgard walls across the front of the house as well as landscape lighting and removal and replanting of plant material and planting a new tree. All working on this project were friendly, hardworking and dedicated to making this project beautiful. They were very considerate about keeping our driveway clear for us to get in and out, despite having to keep moving trucks and equipment. The site was cleaned up everyday when they left and all the grass disturbed by their equipment was replanted and is coming in nicely. Very, Very happy with the work done!

One could not ask for a more responsive, competent, and diligent crew. The time worked out well for me since by then I was done with rehab for knee replacement surgery. Prior to that, Bill had offered that the crew could help me by taking my dogs out if I was not able. This speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. Bill and his crew went beyond what was required.

The job went perfectly! Mr Clink came to my house and explained everything he was going to do. He and his team showed up when they said they would and finished the job even sooner than expected. He not only replaced the piece of pipe he told me he was going to replace, but he also saw other pipe that needed replaced and did that at no extra charge. He repaired some small cracks in my basement wall and waterproofed the entire wall. When that was done - and gravel and dirt replaced - he planted grass, seeded the area and covered it with straw. They also re-graded the swale in my yard, seeded the area and covered it with straw. They even watered both areas! They were professional, great to talk to, answered any and all questions I asked and thoroughly cleaned everything up when they were finished. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely use them again! It took a few months for them to get to my house, but that is because they do such great work at an excellent price! They are definitely worth the wait!

Everything went great even tho it took awhile to coordinate all that needed to be done. They are so good that they are in high demand so be patient and know that it will be worth the wait. The entire crew were very professional, very courteous, very respectful of your property, cleaning up all along the way. They leave each day with everything cleaned and safe during the process. They arrive when they say they will and are considerate of your life and needs. I was happy they also were able to take advantage of being here with heavy equipment to take care of some of my landscaping needs. They each are very knowledgeable about any type of water, drainage, basement issues, any type of construction info needed to a**** your needs. Many years of combined experience among the group! They are also one of the very few contractors that can or will install the rebar in your block after doing the drainage replacements. They finish the whole job inside and take care of anything needed along the inside of the basement walls as well. I would have them again in a heartbeat! They were very reassuring along the way with all of our questions and concerns. They were respectful throughout the process with questions and concerns, which are bound to arise if you haven't done this before! They restore your faith in good hard work, with people that take pride in their work and reputation. Thank you Angies list for this contractor. Clink Builders were great to work with, and well worth the wait! They tore out an old semi-inground pool from our backyard, filled it with dirt, and graded the land over-top. Bill, the owner, took great care in making sure the job was done correctly. His wife Dottie, who scheduled everything was very personable and made the whole project an enjoyable experience. Now, everything is gone, grass is growing, and you would never have thought there was a giant pool in our backyard. We are very happy with our experience with Clink Builders and would definitely use them for future projects!

Only one word can describe the work done for s. EXCELLENT!! Bill Clink and his crew?s work met all our expectations. They came with their equipment on June 4th and began work immediately. We had two sides of our basement waterproofed, a new sidewalk from back yard to front, and a new concrete patio to replace the broken one. Bill answered all of our questions and kept us informed on any change of plans. Right after the work was done, we had torrential rainstorms and our basement walls are bone dry.

The owner asked me to go to the sump pump location and describe what I saw happening. He told me of several possibilities and advised of their charges. I scheduled a same day appointment. Eric came out and assessed the drainage output and the pump in the basement. The pump had been continuously recirculating water and float was stuck. He advised that a switch may need to be replaced if this occurs again. No charge at this time. If I need a replacement in the future I will definitely call them back. Very courteous and professional rep and company.

I had Clink construction perform a fix on a foundation wall that had a very long horizontal crack half way up the height of the wall. Upon closer inspection, the wall was found to have a slight bow due to structural failure. I contacted Clink construction and within a day or 2, Bill, the owner of Clink construction, visited my home to assess the problem with my wall and give me a quote. I found Bill to be very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. While at my house, he thoroughly looked over the house and took the time to explain how he would like to perform the repair. Clink followed up with me a day or 2 later via email with a full quote with several options. After signing the contract, the job started about 3 months after due to the extreme winter weather we were having. This was completely agreeable by me as I was in no rush at all for this job to be done. This wall was in this condition for many years and was not going to move any time soon. Once the job started, there were a few small setbacks due to some things that were found once the wall was opened up(poor building practices/work by original construction company). This was going to cause a relatively small delay in finishing the job, and a bit of a mess in the basement as they were going to have to make some holes/cuts from inside the house. This was not at all a problem because they went through great lengths to minimize any mess while working by setting up a large jobsite vacuum that would draw all air in the work area(my basement) outside of the house. At the end of every work day, they cleaned up very well and were very respectful of my home and property. I was extremely pleased with the finished product and very much appreciate their diligence in work and cleanliness. Bill, Dotty, and Scott were all very nice, professional people and would be happy to work with them again. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody. As a matter of fact, I just contacted them again for another repair on my home which is what reminded me that they deserve an honest review of my experience working with them. Going forward, if I have a job that needs done that falls within their skill set, they will be contacted first.

They were on time, polite and very professional. I have not decided what I wanted to do as yet. They not only emailed me the estimate but they emailed to make sure that I got it and that was good follow up.

I was referred to Clink Builders by the home inspector (Home Safe Home Inspections) and was provided an estimate cost for work to ensure a dry basement. Repair work woul have cost a fortune! Bill saved me a ton of money by not purchasing the house.

After playing phone tag several times finally scheduled a meeting with the owner Bill to get a quote for a project. He never showed up or called to let me know he would not be coming. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

Bill, the owner, called the next day to schedule a time to come out and look at my problem. The following day, Scott arrived on time and explained what was going on. Initially, he thought that the drain had been improperly installed, but he dug down and discovered that the pipe was just covered with dirt and gravel. Whew! Scott said that he wouldn't charge me because it just took a few minutes (actually, it was more like 30). He cleaned up the area which was not necessary - I was just happy not having to spend any money after just replacing a furnace and water heater. It's nice to know that there are honest companies out there. I would call them again in a heartbeat. THANK YOU!!!
