They quoted me a good price I think and the guy was very professional and courteous. They sounded like their people that wanted to do business and were willing to work with you and do a good job and best quality of their work. They came out for the first treatment about as soon as they could the weather has been terrible here. They just get into the seeds and where they can fertilize to do on stuff since it’s been very cold here.

They did excellent. My grass came back.

I think I just contacted them and they came, and I talked with them and decided to use them. The fertilizer they apply depends on the season. I have used them for 3-4 years.

They didn't deliver what they promised. The lawn didn't look much good. I had more weeds than what I should have had for paying a hundred bucks. They tried to sell you with a big package. There were fixers who tried to get you to fertilize the bushes and stuff. I didn't like the upsale.

I have been using them for nearly 12 years, and they are fantastic. Their treatments are very effective because I haven't seen any insects or weeds since using their services.

They always call before each appointment. If I have any trouble they are quick to help. One time they put something down I didn't think looked right and they were out the very next day to fix it. The price to me is just fine. I have the greenest lawn, my neighbor went and hired them. They are very detailed with their billing and they dress nice.

They don't pressure you. They give you a recommendation of what your lawn needs. It's been going great. My lawn looks great now.

I think we have a package deal where they come and spray multiple times during the season. Some of the neighbors used them before and the lawn looks good so we used him. Our lawn looks much better than it used to and it looks as good as the neighbors. It was covered with weeds 2 years ago and looks better now. They were reliable and I can see a big improvement in our yard. I didn’t have any problems with them.

We've used these guys for a several years but something went wrong with their service this year. They failed to keep appointments and when I called to complain about their service, I was transferred to a "manager's voice mail service" to which I've never received a response. I accepted that businesses may have to terminate services in certain areas for any number of reasons but they should at least have the courtesy and professionalism to say that, rather than just not show up. When I first contacted TRUGreen, I was told that a tech would come out and do a lawn evaluation. After the evaluation the tech seemed very knowledgeable and gave me his recommendations. After the first 2 services I noticed the yard did green up. When the 3rd service happened, I noticed that I still had several weeds to include thistle. I made a call to the customer service center and was told that they would come out and retreat for free. When I returned from a business trip, I noticed that there were no notice flags and my lawn didn't look any different. I called again and was told that the service had been performed. I also received a bill for the extra service. I called to have the bill removed from my account, but they would only take half off. When the last 2 services were performed, I again noticed that there was no change in my lawn. This spring I received a call that they would be out in March to treat my lawn, which surprised me because I hadn't agreed to treatment this year. I called back to tell them that I didn't wish to use them this year and was transferred to the locations manager. I spoke to him about last years problems, and he told me he was sorry, and that he would have a tech come out and do another lawn evaluation. The tech never showed up. I received a sales call a few weeks later and told the rep that I didn't wish to use them any longer, and that I was not satisfied with their service, and lack of follow through. The rep stated she was sorry, and that I could be contacted by the manager again. The call never came, and I have since started fertilizing my lawn myself and have had much better results with store bought products. I would recommend that you only allow them to treat your lawn when you are home. On more than one occasion, I came home to see the flag in my yard but didn't see any product on my lawn or smell any product (if they used a liquid).

I have a large piece of land with a lot of edging. The price is extremely reasonable. The guy does an excellent job of mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing without supervision. One of our neighbors had a house up for sale for an extended period of time. No one is there, but he does the work well, that's why I hired him. If he could do it without supervision, if I was around he certainly would do a good job and he does an excellent job.

We didn't get anymore ants or bugs in the house after they did their work. We weren't home and they just came and did it. They just left a note that said "this is what we did and here is what you owe". I give them an A on everything.

I've had very little interaction with them. We haven't been using them long enough to get a sense of whether its working or not. So there's nothing much to report yet.

They are good. You get the service that you pay for. They are reliable. They show up when they say they will. They do the service they are supposed to do. I would use them again in the future.

They do a good job and I never know they have been here till I see their thing on the door and lawn. They know anything that might need attention. Their price is convenient. Their technicians are very polite and helpful. I would use them again in the future.

Their service is fine. The experience with them has been outstanding. The price is a little high.

HaHired them for a season. Had trouble getting price estimate where they promised to call, but did not. First caller said they would work up an estimate, and get back with me. About a week or so later, I got another call. Told them I was interested but still waiting for an estimate. He said "Oh, we get that off of googlemaps. Let me pull that and call you right back." A week or so later, I got another call asking me if I was interested in the service. I finally got an estimate. Normally, I would have resisted working with a company like that, but I went with them anyway because I live in the same city as their headquarters. They came frequently, but never knew when and never knocked and after emailing to ask them to stop. I work out of my home so I knew I would be available. I had several issues, and tried emailing them, directly and through their web site but did not get return calls. I would get emails asking for feedback, which I would complete and ask for a call, but never did get one. Once, they applied a treatment, and it drew up worms all over the sidewalk and driveway. The worms stopped at the sidewalk at the property line on both sides of the house. When I called them, they told me that there was nothing that would do that. I asked to speak to a manager, and she put me on hold and came back a few minutes later. She told me that the manager was not available, but to tell me that they have been getting lots of customer calls about this, and that it cannot be their service! I received a lot of upsell calls throughout the summer, trying to convince me to buy more and more. I paid for an entire year, and canceled my service after that year and wont go back. Products are good, my experience with service was horrible.

I was happy with them. The experience was pleasant.

We started using Trugreen 2 years ago. We had at that time new sod. We signed up initially for the lawn treatments monthly. The effectiveness of the treatment was marginal at best. we had to repeatedly call them back to re-treat given the remaining weeds despite the treatments. Over all the yard has changed little in the last two years. The lawn is slow to green, has patches of crabgrass throughout, and dead spots still after two years of treatments including all of the "extra-treatments" and add on treatments that they call constantly to sell you (Lime, etc) As with other reviews on this site, we too had constant calls trying to sell us additional service and on multiple occasions, calls to sell us the service we were already getting as if they didn't know we we already customers. We too tried the shrub treatments per their "recommendation". All in all the bushes look the same as when we started the treatments EXCEPT that one of the bushes in the front of my house is now dead and the one next to it looks sickly. It shriveled up and died as if it had been sprayed with weed killer. That was the final straw and I canceled the service.

We began having increased weed problems during our last year of service and contacted the company to schedule an appointment with a technician. We were told a technician would contact us to schedule an appointment to walk through our yard to discuss the problems. We were not contacted after the first couple calls to the company. After one call a technician did call and left a message but then did not return our call to him. After several attempts to schedule with a technician we canceled our service due to lack of customer service.

I responded to a mail offer to have Scotts quote a program to fertilize my lawn. They arrived and applied the first application about one week after I accepted their offer. Two days after they left I was doing yardwork and noticed that there were no fertilizer granules on a large area of my north yard. It had not rained, and I had not watered. After looking further, I also noticed that they also had not fertilized an area on the southside yard. I contacted Scotts and requested that they come back and complete their work. They responded that they had fertilized the entire yard and would not come back. I cancelled the service.

They’ve been very good to work with. They’re reliable and do a good job. They always come out when they say they will, and leave a small flag to let me know that the pesticide was applied. The cost depends on the service, but they are fairly priced compared to other companies. The lawn looks good!

This is the second year I have been using them. We have a lot of weeds and they were supposed to treat them. If they don't do a good job on the weeds this year, we will not use them again.

They are alright. They are not great.

We signed up for both lawn treatment and tree and shrub care, paying for our treatments in advance. Because we work night shift (sleeping during the day) we requested that they NOT call after 11am. "No problem!" they assured us...each of the MANY times throughout the year they called in the middle of the afternoon. In addition, those calls consisted of deceptive sales practices. They would state that they were going to come out to do our X, Y or Z treatment. I would ask "Is this something I have already paid for?" and the representative would tell me that this was the X treatment, which did such-and-such. I would have to ask AGAIN "But is this already included in the treatments I paid for or is this extra?" Every time it usually took three questions before they would finally say that no, it was an extra charge. They never asked "Would you like this treatment?"; instead, they would say "We're coming out to do..." as if it was part of my pre-paid selection. I spoke several times with the main office, yet it never was corrected. That type of sales tactic must work for them because they never did anything to change it over the two years during which I complained. Whether the work was decent or not, I refuse to support a company that would take advantage of unsuspecting customers in that manner.
