WONDERFUL!!!! The lawn looks GORGEOUS, after only one treatment! We've tried fertilizing ourselves before, but it costs twice as much, and doesn't look nearly as good, even using their products. The key was the liquid weed control that they used - our yard was becoming completely overtaken by dandelions, and some large clover patches. After just one week, about 90% of the dandelions were wilted. Now (about 3 weeks later), they are curling and browning, and saying goodbye! The grass is green and lush and just beautiful now! Definitely using them again...

They are excellent. Their prices are excellent. They provide a great service.

The lawn did improve and I was happy with that. My only (and biggest) concern was that I'm not sure they always did the entire yard. Our back yard always had a few dog toys ( 2 or 3) scattered around. Most of the time when they would come, they would move the toys up onto the patio (something they said they would do in their literature). Then, on a few occasions, they would come and the toys would still be exactly where we left them in the back yard--completely untouched. I had to throw them away because I didn't want my dogs to get toys that had been sprayed with chemicals. Either they didn't actually spray the backyard or they didn't bother to move the toys. I called to express some concern about this and never got a response.

The company worker treated my lawn in about a week after I signed up. It seems like they did a pretty good job as the lawn looks better than it did a month ago.

We have used Scott's LawnService Columbus for many years now. We have them do our lawn fertilization (about 5-6 times/year) for an annual fee of about $300. They are reliable and good.

Overall we are pleased with their service. This is the first season for our lawn as it was sodded in October 2007. We still have more weeds than we would like to see ,but Scott's was pretty responsive and came back twice during the Summer to retreat when requested.

My lawn survived the drought much better this year than last. Weeds were better too. At first, I did not like that it was always a surprise when they arrived for a treatment. When I mentioned that to management via a survey, they sent me a schedule so I knew exactly what day they were coming the rest of the year. They also sent me a reminder before each treatment. I really appreciated that. I also have a trampoline in the backyard and they are always careful to treat under it and not just go around. The technicians always leave a note with their report on what they applied and why, how the lawn is doing, and what I can do to keep in the lawn in shape and maximize what the treatment is trying to accomplish. I will say that they start out just talking about lawn fertilization and weed control, but call you throughout the year offering more services like: aeration, overseeding, grub control, pelletized lime treatments, etc. If you don't answer, they will keep calling until you do. Their sales people are very knowledgeable and professional. They DO take 'no' for an answer and are not overly pushy. These things are all good for your lawn and will make it look great and stay healthy. However, when you add up the costs for all these things, you will be surprised how much you can spend to keep grass green. I did some of these extra services myself and saved a lot of money.

A little pricey, but a reputable company.

The technicians are always polite and professional. They did exactly what they promised. They do continue their services next year unless you contact them. This something you have to remember.

I needed a new fertilizer company. I had seen ads for Scott's so I called them. They gave us a discount on our services as well as a senior discount. Thay come regularly, and don't call us for every service every day. I like their service.

Overall I was pleased. Initially they wanted me to buy a more expensive package but we reached an agreement on a plan that has our lawn looking much better now than last spring when we started.

I have used this service for 3 years. This last year I have had trouble with overspray onto my perennials. The first and second time I complained, I got a free service or cash off the next service. I asked them to watch for overspray and to be more careful in my windy backyard. I even met the technician and pointed out the problem so he could know. He said the company had never told him of my requests to be careful. The last time the overspray ruined foliage on 6 different bushes, shrubs or plants. I called again, they said they would have a manger call and work out something. I never received a call. Then I got another bill, so I phoned again. They said they would check into it and call me again. I never had a call, but did receive another bill. I guess they have "dropped" me as a customer. Anyway, It's just not that hard to be careful and watch for the spray drifting and they refused to communicate with me. I didn't want the money off; I wanted the plants to not be damaged and discolored.

We have been relatively pleased with our lawncare services, although we feel they do not respond well to problems in grass quality, but rather blame it on lack of watering/rain. However, they are MUCH better than another lawncare service we used!

Pleased with their service, results are good and they are reliable in calling before coming out and coming when they say they will. They offer additional service but are not pushy.

I initially requested a quote from Scott's Lawn service for organic fertilization and weed control. The man I spoke to gave me a quote of about $50 per application for our 1600 square foot lawn. When I received the contract papers, the quote only included the fertilization, not the weed control. After calling the company, they told me that the adding weed control would total $80 per application but they honored the original quote and gave me both organic weed control and fertilization. The lawn service started in the early Spring and it is now early Fall. Our front lawn, which is sunny, has never looked better including prior years when we used traditional fertilizer and weed control. There is not a single speck of crab grass! The back yard which is more shady has not done as well but still looks pretty good except for the dog spots (no fault of Scotts).

They sent us a notice that they were in the area, but we only had two business days to get back to them. They typically do what they are suppose to do. The sales calls seem to get worse. The sales calls are too frequent and about things I have already declined.

It seems to be working well. My only criticism is you can't read their handwriting. I have to get online to see what they said. Overall I am very pleased. The price listed is what I pay per application.

They are responsive, professional and they want to make sure the customer is happy.

They come automatically and I can stop them at anytime if I no longer need their service. It does seem to do the job. Price is per treatment.

We moved into a house a year ago and began using Tru Green. The grass looks no better now than it did when we moved in. They would show up unannounced, which was harmful because I have three children and a dog who would then be exposed to the chemicals on the lawn. If I were to have an outdoor event planned beforehand, it would be ruined by their unannounced visit. The only way I could stop them from spraying is if I were home, but often they would come when I was not home. For the price they charge, it was just not worth it.

I have been using their services for about five years. I like them a lot. They are always timely and have a checkoff list, and they make sure everything is checked off before they leave. I have not had any problems with my lawn and they are careful with my flowers. They always leave me a message of what they did and any improvements that I can do, like watering the lawn, or not to cut it too short, or if the feel as if it needs to be arrogated. They follow up on their work. This is a good company and I am very pleased with them.

The lawn totally died. They re-seeded in rows, which brought a few patches back, but when they came to treat the weeds, they killed everything except for one small patch of crabgrass. I will never use them again.

We were struggling with the appearance of our grass and contacted Scotts. They have been spraying and our yard is looking better. I do think that they have some expertise in this area that I am paying for. We have only started using this company this year, but we are seeing results.

It went awful. We tried three times to fire them but they continued to come back. After the third time they got the hint. They did not show up when they were supposed to. They would leave a bill stating they had done a treatment and they had not done one.

They were not very professional, casual with their job. Some of the trees they did an OK job with, but their was one big tree in particular that I had asked them to take out for which they did a very unsatisfactory job on. I would not recommend them.
