 + -1 moreI have used him thrice. He is very particular about the finished work and he takes pride in his work. He is very pleasant if I mention about any mistake he has done and is quick to fix it. He is a little slow sometimes.

 + -1 moreWe are very satisfied with the work. Tyler was easy to work with and was willing to adjust to our schedule needs. Tyler properly protected all the furniture and appliances. We will surely use Tyler again for both painting and general maintenance needs.
Description of Work: Tyler painted all interior walls and ceilings (multiple colors) and installed crown molding in living/dining room and hall.

Description of Work: I contact Tyler about a relatively small but urgent job -- having had new closet fittings installed in our master bedroom, we realized that the closet needed painting badly, as well as making good the screw holes left from the previous closet fittings.

Description of Work: Tyler Smith was very good. We hired him to scrape old paint off of woodwork in my husband's study, our entryway and our stairwell, and repaint the woodwork, as well as to paint the walls of the study. He was pleasant to work with and did a very good job. Soon after starting the job, he suffered a significant emergency in his personal life, which required a great deal of his attention, and yet he managed to get the work done almost by the originally scheduled date. There were a few small flaws (due, I think, to his being distracted by the personal emergency), but he came back and fixed them as soon as we pointed them out. Tyler cares a lot about pleasing his customers.

 + 1 moreTyler is excellent. He does a very professional job. He is very trustworthy and takes pride in his work. He does not rush through things, but works efficiently and does things the right way. He is far superior to another painter I had; the difference is night and day. I now can see how painting should be done. He also does handyman work and can give you suggestions on other remodeling ideas. He also works for DC Painting which is A rated on Angie's List.
Description of Work: Tyler painted our 2 story great room, kitchen, 2 story foyer, upstairs hallway, foyer going to basement, half bath, master bedroom, master bath, and den. He painted and patched the master bedroom ceiling and installed a ceiling fan. He also painted door casings that were not previously painted when the house was built, touched up white paint where needed and replaced silicone by the kitchen sink. He patched imperfections in the walls as well as all nail holes from the previous owner of the home. He tapes off edges so there is a perfectly straight line at edges rather than painting free-hand at edges.
