Description of Work: Removed/replaced leaking shut off valve in gas line supply to gas firelogs.

Description of Work: Ran two gas lines from the manifold: one to the stove area and one to the washer utility closet. | |They worked hard to run 1/2" gas flex line from the attic down to the gas manifold and to the two points of installation. We had pre-opened up the wall and ceiling, including to drill the wall header so that they could do the job faster, they struggled to get their double-walled 1/2" flex line through the openings. The house already has gas line but is the thinner single-sheath type and is only 3/8" to all exiting appliances. Why they insisted on using the stiffer 1/2" is beyond me, but it took them a lot of extra time to run the lines. I think they should have used what was existing in the home; it would saved us some time and money. | |Regardless, they were professional and worked very hard and seemed to know what they were doing. I'd use them again if I were more sure of the details of how it would go. We thought doing the prework ourselves and having them just run the lines (and us doing the drywall repair ourselves) would save money over a full-cost estimate they gave but it was a wash, so we should have taken them up on their full cost and not gone time-and-materials.

Description of Work: Replaced a sump pump. I have used this company in the past and they have always performed well.

Description of Work: Without looking at the project they say how much they will charge. Set up an appointment for inspection of work but later the guy called saying he can't make it at the specified time few hours before. He can inspect or give me a quote only 9 am to 3 pm on a weekday. I took leave from my work on that day and I was free. I can't take leave another day. I cancelled it.

Description of Work: The owner of the business, stopped by our home investigated the problem we were having. Made suggestions on how to go about fixing the problem. He was very helpful, and didn't charge for the service. It was a plumbing issue, however it was with our softener system not the well pump.

Description of Work: Replaced toilet shut off valve and pipe leading to it. Replaced outside non freeze faucet.The job was done with no fuss or miss.

Description of Work: They replaced a shower faucet. Set correct expectations and followed through. The work was completed in a clean and professional fashion in the expected amount or time. Will use again.

Description of Work: Old Hilliard Plumbing has done three jobs for me in the last month and I would highly recommend this company. Each technician that showed up was extremely courteous and professional. We had a couple scheduling issues but other than that, they were fantastic to work with.

Description of Work: Installed shower pan - did not follow manufactures instructions. Major squeaks because they did not screw down tight. Installed shower fixture upside down. Toilet was not tight to floor and toilet seat fell off. I fixed the seat - read directions. They tightened toilet and changed the shower fixture. Took weeks longer and this was our only full bath. All they needed to do was read the directions. Company owner is nice guy amd plumber is no longer there. |

Description of Work: I called the company because of a problem with a shower faucet. The woman I spoke with (Connie) was very polite and friendly and worked me in to the company's very busy schedule. The plumber, RJ, was scheduled to come out between 8 and 8:30 am but he called at 8:30 am to say that he would be about 20 minutes late due to a car/traffic problem. I appreciated the heads up. Most companies don't do this! When RJ arrived, he solved the problem after working for about an hour. He was professional and pleasant and answered all of my questions. I paid only $90 after my Angie's List discount. This was a great company and I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Toilet was leaking. I called to make an appointment. The plumber arrived at the scheduled time. He fixed the problem, cleaned up the area and explained the work.

Description of Work: They were very responsive arriving on the same day I called. They quoted rates and they provided service as requested. I had two shutoff values installed for the kitchen sink and a faucet installed. They did a wonderful job.

Description of Work: Had overflow tank leak. They replace that and also replaced the hot and cold boiler drains to the washing machine. They came same day and predicted time was right on time. I read a report of a 'no show' by this company but I have to think that there were extenuating circumstances. I will without question or hesitation use them again. They were GREAT!!

Description of Work: THE DRAIN STOPPER CORRODED. THE PERSON CAME ON TIME AND WAS ABLE TO REMOVE ONE IF IT EASILY AND THE OTHER ONE, HE HAD TO CUT IT OUT. CLEANED UP THE WORK AFTER INSTALLATION.
