I have used Old Hilliard Plumbing for years. Sometimes a little difficult to get on the schedule right away but the technicians are always professional and do great work.

After a very stressful holiday with a gutter that fell off and rain that caused flooding, our sump pump gave out. I tried calling three plumbers before resting on this place. Everyone else went to voicemail. The lady on the phone was quite nice and said they could get someone out in a few hours. She did say they would call before arriving, but did not (only complaint and honestly didn't care). My husband met with the plumber and said he was professional and replaced the sump pump quite quickly. He also showed my husband where the water was coming out of next to the curb and that our house was sitting on a ton of water since the pump stopped working. Everything is working great and the new sump pump they installed wasn't a cheap plastic thing like the last one. I will always use them for our plumbing needs. Already planning a few more jobs for them to do!

They came in with a special tool to remove and replaced that.

We had two 1960 back to back wall mounted toilets in our house. I wanted to replace them with 2 in wall tank, wall mounted toilets. The problem came with getting the drain line to work. Old Hilliard came out on time and helped solve the problem.

Very happy with Old Hilliard. I called early in the morning and explained that my toilet was not filling properly. The Owner, Tom, said they would try to have someone out that afternoon, but if not, it would be the following week. They called at lunch and the tech was able to repair the same day.

The plumber picked up our merchandise at Ferguson's prior to arrival. Removed old kitchen sink assembly and installed all new items and relocated necessary plumbing under the sink to accommodate the new set up. Also installed the new stationary tub and faucet to existing plumbing in the basement. Very professional and came on time. We are very pleased with how both turned out.

From the moment I called until Adam drove away, the transaction was flawless. The shower in the master bedroom was leaking. After doing a little research, I discovered this was a repair beyond my capabilities. i called Old Hilliard Plumbers and spoke with a very friendly and knowledgeable woman. She informed me that they'd have to cut through the drywall to replace the new valve. She was very informative and provided me with an estimate (that included a 10% Angie's List discount). I scheduled an appointment and their plumber, Adam arrived two days later. Adam was friendly, on time, and completely professional. He even finished a little early compared to the estimate. The shower is now fixed. I completely recommend this vendor.

I called Old Hilliard Plumbers on Tuesday, and scheduled an appointment for Thursday afternoon to fix one toilet. They had an opening, by chance on Wednesday, and so called to see if they could come. My husband was there, and so when I got home, the plumber was there. He had already fixed two toilets, and was working on the third. The repair on the first toilet had gone so quickly that my husband and the plumber had time to evaluate the other toilets ... and decided on the spot, to repair them as well. He did it all within the same timeframe we had already scheduled. Of course, there were additional costs for materials for the two additional toilets. Adam, the plumber, was very efficient, clearly skilled, and a good communicator. Our experience with Old Hilliard, and Adam, was a wonderful change from the experience we had a couple of years ago with a different plumber.

Justin was here as scheduled and completed the installation and repair in the two hours anticipated. He cleaned up everything and left the kitchen in excellent condition. Very professional and efficient service.

I called at 8AM on Monday, September 8th and was able to get an appointment between 1-2PM on the same day. Adam arrived promptly at about 1:30PM. He quickly put in a new fill valve in the downstairs powder room, changed a flapper in the Master bath toilet, cleaned out a sink drain in the Master bath (hair and dental floss), and cleaned out a tub drain in the hall bath (hair). He also took the time to recommend that I soak a shower head in vinegar to get rid of hard water deposits that were making the water spray oddly. Adam's work was efficient and neat. He completed all the work in about one hour. I received a 10% discount on the service rate for being an Angie's List member. I have used this company in the past and will continue to use them in the future!

We had a broken pipe on our basement. We are in process of selling our house and final physical inspection when this happened. I called Old Hilliard Plumbing since the name was given to me by our insurance company. They could not provide same day or even next day service when I spoke with them. They did, however, refer me to another larger company who might have more crews available to provide me with same day service. I did contact them and they did provide the service I needed. I really appreciate the fact that Old Hilliard Plumbing cared enough about solving my problem that they referred me to someone else.

The service tech was very professional and helpful. This was a "help me get this finished" project. I was able to do most of the work but couldnt figure out how to remove the old valve and install the new. It looked to me like the entire assembly was going to need to be replaced, however he was able to look at it and quickly determine that the valve inserts were interchangeable (which was a surprise since the original was 23 years old). He removed the old one and installed the new one. The total duration of the job was less than 30 minutes. My only issue (small) was that the service call was billed at a minimum of one hour, but I knew this going in so it is not a reason to not use them again. I have also used them over the years to perform my annual backflow test on my irrigation system, including filing the documentation with the city. They have enough customers in the neighborhood so they could offer a bulk discount which made this service very attractive.

Tom and his installers are simply the best. They gave me a reasonable quote, and did the work on time. I have a lot more work that I will need done, and I won;t go anywhere else.

I had a partially flooded basement due to my sump pump not working. I called Old Hilliard Plumbing and immediately talked with Tom, the owner. After telling him my problem, he gave me an estimate for a replacement. I asked when a technician would be available to do the work and he said immediately. I said yes to the project and within a short time, Justin was at my door with the new pump. He replaced it and tested everything. He said there seemed to be a blockage problem with the drain pipe going to the street because the water didn't seem to be flowing as it should. He recommended Drain Connection, a drain specialist, who I called immediately, especially since they were also on Angie's List. THey will coming out on THursday to check the drains, Justin was thorough and efficient. He really knew what he was doing. I am very pleased with his work, his expertise, and his professionalism. I would not hesitate to call Old Hilliard PLumbing for additional plumbing needs.

Adam was a very polite young man, did the work in appropiate time and cleaned up everything before he left. he was on time and very friendly. Connie in the office was very informative when i called about getting a new toilet. They were great!!!! i would definetly recommend this company to anyone.

I got a call they were running late but worker showed up only 15 minutes late not bad for plumbers. He got right to work did excellent job and offered some suggestions on another job.

He was on time. He was courteous. He explained what the problem was and how much it was to fix and then checked the other 4 toilets in the home.

.My son was in town for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the day after. He owns a rental property and the renters notified him of a backup of a sewer line into the basement. He called several companies to get an on the phone quick estimate as he knew where the clog probably was. Old Hilliard Plumbing was not just more reasonably priced but also had the better response time. They met us at the house at the designated time and took care of the problem immediately. We would recommend using this company.

When I called I asked several questions, all my questions were answered and they even gave me suggestions as to where to go and get my toilet. We needed a toilet replaced in our first floor bathroom. I purchased what I wanted they brought it with them and installed in less thank an hour.

Service went well...no issues. Timely and professional. Only took him 20 minutes or so. The $125 first hour service charge seems excessive ($112.50 with Angie's List 10% discount) but maybe that is the going rate now. I don't know but I will definitely price around next time.
