I called to get an estimate, the president of the company was at my home an hour and half later. On the day the work was actually done, they were right on time. The work was done quickly and they did a great job. I am very happy with everything they did. They protected my plants so they wouldn't get stain on them or the power washing would not adversely affect them.

I was not at home when they power-washed the house but it looks good and is comparable to the company we used for the past few years. I scheduled prior to having our windows professionally cleaned and was happy I did. I was really surprised by the amount of spotting on the windows. They looked filthy, but were clean. I assume they use hard water. It drove me crazy until my windows were cleaned. It wasn't just a few spots - they looked dirty from across the room. The company is also very hard to reach. Turn around time for phone calls is at least 24 hours. There isn't anyone in the office answering the phone. They do accept payment by credit card but it is impossible to reach anyone by phone. It is shear luck if you can be available when they call back.

My experience with them was very good. The guy came out and gave me a quite. We discussed a lot of other things as well. He did a wonderful job.

This job had some hiccups compared to the previous 8 times we used Master Blaster, which all went really well. We were preparing to sell our house. The estimate process took a long time. The email never made it to my inbox for unknown reason. My advice is to insist that a hard copy go out as well. The office paint job looks good, but the bathroom has areas that I am not satisfied with. It needed a second coat, and the lines between trim and wall are not as perfect as usual. He seemed rushed to complete the bathroom. He forgot to paint the ceiling so my husband had to do that later. But he did throw in the dining room trim areas at no additional cost. Overally, Master Blaster is capable of fantastic interior painting work as displayed in our living room, hall, kitchen, son's room, and even basement. The prices are very fair, and they can do additional handyman work to complete your project if you want. But make sure you are very clear about how many coats to do the job, trim or no trim, ceiling or no ceiling. Make sure you are left with an extra can of all paints. We weren't given one for a white on the walls and had we stayed in the house, this would have been a problem.

I have been their repeat customer. There was only one time I was mad at them, but they came out and took care of it. I don?t know if they had people that didn?t care or they were in a hurry. There was stuff beneath the deck that was blocked. We have an addition at the back that has siding on it. So, I called the person that runs the company and told him that I had never seen work like what they had done even though they have done a lot of work for me. I asked him to stop over and look at it. Then they came out and made it right. I told them that all companies make mistakes, but good companies fix their mistakes. So, I did business with them again. They are responsive like that. They generally do real good work. They are very fast in giving you an estimate. If you call them on the phone, you might get a recorded message. Then you can give them your address, tell them what you want to have done, give them some options and leave them a description. I think the owner?s dad is the estimator because that person will stop by whether or not you are there because it is outside work. Then they will leave a detailed written estimate near your door. They will do that like within the next day and you will get your estimate real quick. You can then call them to schedule the work or to discuss the work. They will then schedule the work and it depends on the part of the summer. If you are trying to get stuff done the week before the 4th of July, then that is going to be tough because everyone else will be trying to get stuff done so that they can have a party. You can get the work scheduled in a couple of days to maybe ten days depending on when you call them. I have probably never had to wait longer than maybe ten days to get the work done. Then they will come and do the power washing on one day and they will usually be back to do one coat. If they can?t get it done in the morning, then they will get it done later on. The work will happen usually in two days. Sometimes they will scrub in the morning and do the first coat in the afternoon and another coat the next day. They are real efficient. They have expanded into doing interior painting and probably exterior too. They will probably get some work in the off season, but I have never used them for that. The deck hadn?t been done for like four years and I don?t know what was wrong. The deck was pretty rough the first time when I called them. The guy then called me when I was at work and told me that he did as much as he could. He was hoping that I wasn?t disappointed. It was really dirty and there was algae growing on it. I then got back home and it looked terrific. So, I called them up and said that the deck looked terrific. He told me that the deck that they had cleaned didn?t look as good as my hardwood floors. I thought they had bars set higher than I would have set. They really delivered more than I expected. That was a positive interaction with them. I guess that is why I didn?t drop them when I had one bad year because that was an exception. In general, I have got good quality service from them. I can?t believe how old this deck is and how good it still looks. We have been here for 24 years and this deck was not new. Other people surely didn?t take care of it. I think their good cleaning and coating of it certainly has helped it last so far. It did cost us money to have it done, but it is better than spending a whole lot of money when your deck falls apart. I bet that it would cost $25000 to replace the deck. They are really good. I spent about $605 in 2009, $1085 in 2007 and $1000 in 2005. If you are having a power washing done, then you will be spending at least $1000. I think just the deck and the board walk was $605. I would use their services in the future too. In fact, I will have them out again this summer.

The price was certainly reasonable. The job done by them was excellent. The owner was there. He was helpful and he explained what he was doing. Even though they did some up selling on the driveway, it was obvious that the work they did was going to have the desired effect. So, I had them do that anyway. I liked their attentive service. I would certainly use their services in the future too.

Excellent job. Cleaned the siding without messing up the windows. Front porch and steps have never looked better.

I think they were good. They came on time and just got the job done. They were what I would expect. The quality was up to my expectations. The price is reasonable.

The company did a fantastic job....will use again the future. Turned our home exterior into a brand new home!

I can completely trust him to do the job. The quality of the work is excellent. I trust him around the house. I had him do interior painting as well, and he did a good job with that.

I was happy with the job they did and would hire them again. I called them and asked for an estimate, which they delivered within a week. We scheduled the job and they did it. Since it was a minor outdoor project, I was not home when they did it. I came home one day and the work was done. I was impressed by their promptness, professionalism, and reasonable price.

Very easy to work with. They provided an estimate within 24 hours, scheduled the next week and sent the bill. The house and driveway looks brand new. This is my second time using the company.

The estimate was for $400. It was fairly easy. I gave them my address and they came out to look at what needed to be done. Within a couple of days I got the estimate. I will consider using them in the future.

I contacted Master Blaster and they gave me a quote immediately over the phone. I asked them specifically whether the power washing would remove the stains on the stucco under my wood-trimmed window. They stated that it would. I was not home when the washing was performed; however, when I came home, I noticed the stains were all still very apparent under my windows. That was really my only reason for purchasing the wash. I contacted Master Blaster and they were very nice about it and came back out a second time and focused exclusively on removing the stains under the windows. They were able to remove quite a bit, but not all. Overall, I am satisfied with the service I received, especially since they came back out a second time and addressed the windows; however, I would have preferred to have been told up-front that power washing may not remove stains on stucco and/or I would have preferred for them to have been proactive in addressing the fact that the wash did not fix my stains. Other than that issue, they were extremely responsive, very professional, and did everything they could to right the issue.

Not 100% sure about price, so don't hold me to it. Did a great job powerwashing. Fair price, clean house, couldn't ask for more. Great customer service in setting it up and paying for it. Thanks.

They came and did the work while I was away and I didn?t have any problems and everything looked fine.

I emailed MasterBlaster for an estimate to remove all solid stain from my Pressure Treated deck. A few days later MasterBlaster had left an extensive voice mail explaining how it is extremely difficult to remove old stain & they recommend power washing & then staining over it with solid stain. The man also said they could do the work on a Tuesday in a couple weeks if I decided to use their services. I appreciated the candor & detailed advice. I took about a week to think it over & then called to schedule the power washing. Since i had waited a while to call, they said Tuesday was booked but put me down for Wednesday. No problem. I asked if they use any chemicals in the process & if they could potentially be harmful to pets or plants. The man said they use a "mildew & mold killer" and that it is not harmful. We scheduled the work for Wednesday. I have a dog and a doggy door, so i planned to take her to work with me on Wednesday so she would not be scared by the blasting and so she would not inadvertently be harmed, either by walking out her door onto the deck while they were cleaning, or by any residual chemicals if she went outside immediately afterwards. I also planned to call on Tuesday to give them specific instructions about a broken water supply & a freestanding piece on the deck that I wanted to be sure they knew should be moved & cleaned under. I also realized that when making the initial appointment I was not given any instructions about how to prepare my deck or what to expect when returning home, etc., so I was going to ask those questions. I have a web cam I watch at work of my main room at home and on Tuesday I suddenly see my normally calm dog howling and pacing around the room. She went back to the bedroom shortly after, so I thought maybe my lawn mowing guy had shown up and she had just been startled. Some time went by & she came out again, howling, barking, pacing around - clearly extremely distressed. I called my neighbor and she told me my deck was being power washed. A day early. I immediately called MasterBlaster and the woman who answered the phone seemed to take my concerns seriously but said I should talk to a crew leader who happened to be in the office. He got on the phone and did listen to what I had to say but was very dismissive and did not take me seriously. He said there had been confusion that morning since the guy who did my estimate put me down for Tuesday & the guy I scheduled with had me down for Wednesday. He said they could not figure out which day was correct, so they just picked Tuesday. Nice. I asked him why they didn't call me, the customer, to solve the confusion. He scoffed and said if they got calls like this every day they probably would, but this happens too infrequently. So apparently they don't get enough complaints to warrant spending the time to provide customer service & communicate with customers about when they will be doing work. He dismissed my complaints about needing to know when the work was to be done because of my dog and my belongings. He said they hardly ever even talk to a customer & just do the work when it is on their board to do it. He said he would call the crew onsite & tell them not to use the broken water spigot and to move the platform & wash under it. He did not apologize or even acknowledge that I had any right to be upset in the least. I left work to go get my dog. When I arrived home the crew was gone and she was still very distraught. The house reeked of bleach smell, which I am very sensitive to. Had I been told that their "mildew & mold killer" was *bleach* I would not have allowed them to use it. Throughout the evening and overnight, the bleach chemicals continued to hang in the air and my throat was irritated all night. The crew had left an invoice on my door - no mention of any of the issues I had brought up, and no discount that I had been promised for being an Angie?s List member. I returned a copy of the invoice with a letter detailing all of this. The owner wrote back and did not ease any of my concerns. He was dismissive as well, saying the only thing that kills mold is BLEACH (his yelling in caps - nice touch of respect for your customers), and said since I didn't complain about the actual work that I?d better be nice in my AL review. Not one bit of sincerity or concern for the issues I spelled out. As for the work, since this is my first house I have nothing to compare it to so I didn't bring up those issues with him. The wood had quite a bit of fuzz on it, which I was not expecting but was told by a friend may be normal. The loose stain was removed. I didn't have any mold or mildew to begin with so the throat irritation & stench of bleach was completely unnecessary and should have been clearly discussed beforehand. i am extremely disappointed with how I was treated by MasterBlaster's employees and owner. They placated me with an additional discount of about $20 but never acknowledged that I had any merit to my complaints & actually scoffed directly at some of them. Maybe it is true that the calls they receive are rare - is that reason enough to treat those who do call with such disrespect? The owner wrote that I was a repeat customer - may have been a previous owner of my house who used them before, but I will not be a repeat customer.

The company promised an estimate within 48 hours of my contacting them. I got the written estimate. I contacted them and set a date for the work. They were very friendly and professional. They paid attention to details and were careful not to use too much pressure on my cedar decks. After they finished and after I paid them, they noticed that there was lots of dirt on my windows in front of the deck. Notice, they saw it. I wasn't paying attention. They took the time to rinse the windows so the dirt wouldn't dry on them. I will use them again.
