Description of Work: Jack's replaced our 15 year old built-in microwave. The cost was competitive with the big box stores, the service was far superior,installers show up when scheduled and yes! everybody from start to finish knows what they're doing. What an old-school concept. Chuck, our salesman, pulled specs on the models we were interested in, explained the features per floor samples, ordered our selection, it arrived in the time frame he indicated. To accommodate our travel schedule and the coming weekend, Chuck arranged for the installer to come out to our house one very cold Thurs. evening to install, which was done perfectly. We live in Clintonville, were regular customers of Clintonville Electric and sorry to see it close years ago. After bad experiences with other stores after C-E closed, we are delighted to have discovered Jack's thru Angie's List. In the past 6 months, we've bought a Jenn Air gas range for the kitchen, standing freezer for the basement, and the microwave, all from Jack's, and will return when our other appliances require replacement.

Description of Work: We needed to buy a new refrigerator and needed a specific (short) size because of the cabinets around the refrigerator. We went to big box dealers and didn't receive much help. The sales rep at Jack's looked up sizes and special ordered a refrigerator for us.

 + -1 moreCOMPANY WAS UNABLE TO FIT ME INTO THE SCHEDULE THE SAME DAY I CALLED (PM). THE FIT ME IN THE VERY FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING AND WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, QUICK AND DID GOOD WORK. I DIDN''T SHOP AROUND FOR PRICE BUT SEEMED A TAD BIT HIGH. HOME TOWN PRICE MAY BE A LITTLE HIGHER BUT QUALITY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.
