Description of Work: They came out and waterproofed the basement years ago and we were never pleased with them or the job. What they did did not even fix the problem and had to have someone else come out and do the job.

Description of Work: Basement had leak, already have waterproofed basement from years ago by previous owner who used unknown company. Everdry wanted to demo floors inside basement and do it over. Also add easy breeze which is a glorified fan. And seal cracks in walls. For $20k!!! But if I was able to schedule 24-48 if someone canceled they'd knock $3k off. The problem was a separated downspout about 6" in the dirt next to the house. I found the problem myself and repaired it. This is a common issue on all houses so make sure you check your gutters and downspouts regularly.

 + -1 moreON-SITE WORKERS WERE EFFICIENT AND TRIED HARD TO DO A GOOD JOB. MY MAIN COMPLAINT IS WITH THE SALESMEN WHO DESCRIBED WHAT THE JOB WOULD ENTAIL. THEY SAID THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM WITH MY OIL TANK; BUT IN FACT IT WAS DAMAGED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. (THEY PAID ONLY 40% OF THE COST; I HAD TO PAY THE REST.) THEY SAID MY BASEMENT SINK AND TOILET WOULD BE MOVED AND REPLACED. IN FACT, THE WORKERS HAD TO WORK AROUND IT, AND HAD TO DESTROY MUCH MORE (ESSENTIALLY ALL) OF THE BATHROOM FLOOR. THEY SAID THE REC ROOM CARPET COULD BE ROLLED BACK AND REPLACED. IN FACT, IT IS CEMENTED TO THE FLOOR, AND WAS DESTROYED. FINALLY, THE BASEMENT STILL LEAKS, 1 YR LATER. THEY HAVE BEEN RESPONSIVE IN RETURNING TO TRY TO FIX THINGS, BUT THE JURY IS STILL OUT ON WHAT THE FINAL RESULT WILL BE.
Description of Work: BASEMENT FLOOR WAS DUG UP (BY JACK HAMMER) AROUND THE PERIMETER, AND A DRAIN SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED BENEATH THE FLOOR; A SUMP PUMP (PLUS ADDITIONAL BATTERY SUMP PUMP) WAS INSTALLED; OUTSIDE WAS DUG DOWN ABOUT 3 FEET AND TAR AND VISQUEEN APPLIED.
