Very well. He had everything he needed on the truck (he didn't know before coming what was wrong) and he was very fast. He also made a point of not trying to sell me things I didn't need at a higher price.

Their truck broke down twice. Once before they arrived, although they called to keep me posted; and the second time was during the actual job. The estimated time of 1.5 hours, took 4.5. Although they did a thorough job, their cleanup was not. Smudge prints was on around several air ducts, and once they reinstalled the vent cover they chipped the paint.

They were very prompt in coming out for 1st and 2nd service call ( 2 nd service call they charged me 270.00 to dig up the yard to see what was causing the sump pump not to drain in the yard. They determined tat the pipe coming from the house had broken off d/t a root that had grown over the pipe and pushed the pipe down causing it to break the pipe. They said they would have someone else come out to give me an estimate on repairing the problem. I waited a couple of days and did not hear from anyone. I called 2 times, the 2nd time the girl answering the phone said she would call me right back... she did not. A few days later I had someone else do the repair.

We paid $39 for a check up and the flap. We had to pay an additional $119 to replace the toilet fill valve. The plumber said that our toilet handle was the wrong kind but he didn't have one in his truck but that he could come back and we wouldn't have to pay the trip charge. However when I called the office the woman I spoke with couldn't tell me how much it would cost to replace the handle. I imagine the labor to screw in a handle would be minimal and the cost of the handle maybe $3? We did not have them come back. We will try to do that ourselves rather ham pay $$ for the handle which is plastic.

Excellent work - quick and efficient

This project started out as an Angie's List special to test my sump pump. While the old pump tested okay, I had no knowledge of how old the pump was and worried that it could go out at anytime. Eco-plumbers told me the pump was at least 10 years old and approaching its end. I was already in the mood for installing a new pump with a battery back-up and that work was accomplished in a timely and professional manner.

I strongly suggest not using this company. Setting up the appointment went well, and the plumber came as scheduled. I have two full bathrooms and one half-bathroom. Apparently, all of them have old toilets, because neither the plumber nor I could find make or model numbers on any of them. He ran dye through all of the tanks, showing me that none of the toilets had any leaks. When I asked about cleaning the rim flush holes as the deal I purchased was supposed to include, he said they didn't need cleaned because, if they did, the dye wouldn't have flushed through the holes as it did. I told him that one of the toilets made a whining sound when flushed. He showed me that the fill valve was broken and offered to replace it. He showed me on his inventory that the part cost twenty-something dollars, but I'd have to pay ninety-something dollars for parts and labor. Because neither my husband nor I has any experience with plumbing, we paid to have him replace it. I watched him install the new fill valve in about 5 minutes. Seventy-something dollars for 5 minutes of work. He also replaced the flapper on that toilet and the half-bath toilet. He said he couldn't replace the flapper on the master bath toilet because it was an odd flapper and all he carried in his truck was a universal flapper. I reminded him that I paid for replacement of all worn flappers, and he told me he'd have to check with the company to see if they could replace it. He said I should receive a call the next day. I waited about a week for the call that never came before I called myself. I talked to a receptionist who said that someone had to go to the warehouse to look for the part, at which time I would be called. I didn't receive a call, so I called back at a later date and was given the same message in return. I still didn't receive a call. Finally, when I called the third time to complain that no one had yet called me back, one of the managers returned my call to say that he would have my flapper replaced for free because I had waited so long (no mention of the fact that the flapper should have been free because that's what the Angie's List deal indicated). I didn't argue the reason. I made an appointment to have a plumber come to my home to replace that last flapper. Because of my wait, they offered to work around my work schedule so I wouldn't have to take more time off work. Soon before his expected arrival, I received a call from The Eco Plumbers to say that the original plumber who had come to my home had a family obligation and couldn't make the appointment. I was asked whether it would be all right for them to send out a different plumber. Because it didn't matter to me, I said that was fine. Soon after that, the new plumber, John, came to my home and asked what the problem was. He said he had merely been told to replace the flapper. He said no one had told him I needed a special flapper and so, of course, he didn't have it. Seeing how upset I was about the situation, he offered to come back the next day at the same time with the correct flapper. The next day, he installed the new flapper on the master bath toilet. He told me that, with the new flapper, I would have to hold down the handle and let the bowl flush completely before letting go so the flapper would seal properly. I had never had to do this with the old flapper. I told him about the problem I'd been having with the half-bath toilet since that flapper had been replaced, namely that the flapper wouldn't close properly. He looked at it, said the chain was too long and was getting caught under the flapper, and he proceeded to shorten it. He then left. Over the next few days, I noticed with the master bath toilet that, not only did I have to hold down the handle for about 15 seconds to get a full flush, the tank leaked into the bowl, suggesting that the flapper was not properly sealing. Also, the flapper on the half-bath toilet also continued to not close completely. I set up yet another appointment to have someone come fix these toilets, as they were now in worse condition that they were before I had purchased these tune-ups. John came to the next appointment. I told him what the problems were and, instead of looking at the toilets, he told me that the problem was the age of the toilets and that flappers are no longer available for such toilets. He said he could try to get me a deal on 3 new toilets and proceeded to call the owner of the company, Aaron. He said Aaron would offer us 3 new commercial grade American Standard Cadet Pro 1.6 gpf toilets for a total of $1820. I balked at that price. He agreed to try to look for the matching flappers on his own time at an independently-owned hardware store then to let me know if he had any luck. He called me a few days later to say that, without the make or model number of the toilets, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. He asked again if I wanted to replace the toilets. I told him I'd have to think about it. By this time, my husband and I were pretty upset about our dealings with this company. If they knew that the flappers they were going to install weren't going to fit properly, they should have just told us and refunded our money for 2 of the toilet deals we purchased through Angie's List. Now, we were being told that our 2 toilets were not only in worse shape than they were before but that there was no way to fix them. My husband attempted to call the manager to complain. On two occasions, the receptionist told him the manager would return his call, but, over the 3 days, no one called him. My husband, who has no plumbing experience, then decided to look at the flappers himself. He adjusted the chain on the half-bath toilet and adjusted the flappers on both toilets, AND THEY NOW WORK PROPERLY!! He said that the flappers hadn't been centered properly. So, now I have the suspicion that the flappers and the chain were deliberately not adjusted properly so that we would believe we needed new toilets. And I suspect that the manager no longer wanted to deal with us. Oh, and in the midst of all of our troubles and unfinished work, I was sent by email about 10-20 requests from The Eco Plumbers to complete a survey about the job they completed for us. I will finally be completing that survey.

The service was excellent from start to finish. I did have to leave a message when I first called but they returned my call within 15 minutes as promised. A technician was scheduled for the afternoon the next day, but they called in the morning and were able to move it up even earlier. From start to finish, the phone personnel and my technician were very professional. The scheduling was easy and quick and the phone person was very respectful. Nick my technician explained everything before he started. He even had to work with my Home Warranty people on the phone in order to get authorization for the work that the warranty office was unable to do! Nick was on-time, finished the job and completed the installation in time before the rain began that night. I asked a lot of questions about how sump pumps work, what are the different options, and he was able to answer all of my questions knowledgeably. The price may seem higher than other estimates that you can get, but you get what you pay for. The quality of this company (it is my first time using them) seems extremely good and the quality of the pump and the installation is worth any extra money paid. I did get an upgraded pump so the price is a little higher than a standard one. From start to finish, this service exceeded my expectations. Nick did a great job helping me to get reimbursement from my home owner's warranty as well as gave me all of the information needed to better understand what the purpose of the pump is and how other water sources affect it. Originally, it appeared that they might have to remove concrete to install. However, Ed found a means to install without having to destroy my concrete patio. Additionally, Tim made sure that the new line was jetted, to ensure that I don't encounter issues with roots in the new line. They did an excellent job and I would hire them again for any future plumbing concerns.

Everything went as Eco said it would. They were the only company I contacted that could/would come out that day...which frankly made me skeptical of the quote and quality of service I would get. Immediately after scheduling I got a email prior introducing me to my plumber. It also included a link to a app that would track his route to my house so I knew exactly when to expect him. Sean (service guy) was at my home in about an hour and the work took aprox. another hour. Sean was professional, personable and was happy to answer any and all questions. I am very much a DIY guy but I will leave the plumbing to Eco form now on. Happy customer.

Adam and Chris arrived on time and we discussed what needed to be done. They were very courteous, professional and got right to work. They were clean, quiet and meticulous. They put booties on their shoes and ran drop cloths all the way from the master bath to the front door so they would get no water or debris on our new carpeting. It was a complex job so they gave me updates along the way especially when they ran into some problem areas. We talked through some of the issues that came up and came up with good solutions. They didn't leave until almost 9 p.m. because they wanted to make sure they installed our tub properly so we wouldn't have any issues down the line. We appreciated their professionalism and willingness to sacrifice their time to get it right. We highly recommend Eco Plumbers for any plumbing need. They tend to be a little pricier on some services but the result is a job done right the first time which might save time and money in the long run. Great job, Adam and Chris. They were great, they are very throughout, and they fixed the problem.

Called for clog and leak, diagnosed as bad garbage disposal. Upon replacing the garbage disposal the cap was left on the disposal leading to the dishwasher. Once the dishwasher was ran water ran all over the floor and ruined dishwasher. Now have to replace flooring and dishwasher. Also cords that are supposed to be tucked in disposal were left sitting in water and hanging. Was told they did not see a leak coming from ceiling when i went back the leak was as clear as day and leaking from ceiling in kitchen where we directed. Would not recommend. Offered to come back out and fix disposal but damage was already done. Very nice on the phone but work was below average caused more of a headache than before they were called. Did nothing to rectify situation but apologize.

Went very well. Communication with company couldn't be any better. They would have been able to provide service the day I called, but I was unavailable, so they were out the next day. and right on time. The technician was professional, informative, and pleasant to work with. He did a great job. I most likely will use Eco in the future.

When I contacted Eco Plumbers they sent someone out later the same day. They fixed the problem, adding some additional PVC so there would be more give and less likely to become dislodged in the future. Because it was under warranty there was no charge. Everyone was very professional.

Went well. They have to come back & repair the sidewalk and when they do, I will rerate them.

They wanted $14,000. Are you kidding me. It was too expensive. He was pretty good about responsiveness.

They did a nice job. It has certainly reduced the frequency with which we need to replace the insides of our plumbing. I think the chlorine was causing problems through it. They did a very nice job. They were easy to work with.

I purchased an Angie's List deal to have my main drain line cleaned for $99. (I have previously paid up to $500 to have this done.) I purchased it in the evening on a weekend, and someone called within the hour to schedule the appt. Very professional. Found a time that was convenient for me and scheduled. Immediately got a text confirmation. On the day of the appt, I got a text that provided a link to track my technician's time of arrival so I knew EXACTLY when he would arrive. The technician was great. Their equipment was the best I've seen. They did a great job and they didn't try to sell me anything extra or tell me anything was wrong that wasn't. Great experience overall and will definitely use again.
