It went great! Ammar Tiba carefully reviewed the situation and described the potential approaches that we could take to solve the problem. He also explained all of the pros and cons of each approach. We decided to try the simplest solution first, to see if that would solve the problem and based on the result move to the more complicated solution. So far, the simple solution is working great.

The plumbers arrived on time and as always are professional. They assess the situation and explain to me what needed to be done. They walked me through the steps for changing the home water filter and tightened a faucet nut on my water heater. They said there was no charge. I have used this company many times before. As they have grown it is sometimes a little harder to get a response quickly, but I know in an emergency they would be there. They have when I have had emergent needs in the past. Highly recommend them

We needed plumber to come out to our house the same time a mold removal company was there. We scheduled appointment and took the day off of work. We waited around ALL day and they never showed up. We called to find out what happened and they told us they prioritized other appointments over ours. ***?! They offered to come out the next day first thing in the morning and offered us $50 off the appointment... but $50 doesn't compensate me for loosing a day off and I had no confidence they would actually show up tomorrow. Also, we needed to coordinate with the mold removal company... so we need a firm appointment time.

I hired the Eco Plumbers to fix a toilet that was leaking around the base after I had my floors refinished. Dan showed up on time, pulled the toilet, replaced the foam seal with a wax one, and reinstalled the toilet. I am a new homeowner, so I appreciate that he answered my questions and gave me tips about plumbing in general. I am pleased with their service and would hire them again.

One of our 2 older hot water started leaking on Sunday and I called 3 companies to replace our tanks. Eco Plumbers were the first ones to respond and promised to send out someone to give us an estimate. Their representative called to let us know they would be coming in 30 minutes. I liked that the company also sent me a text with the picture of the man who was coming to give us the estimate. After talking with their representative we decided on a tankless system. They told us the installers would be contacting us to let us know when they were going to arrive. Again they called and sent pictures of the installers and came when they said they would be there. Adam and Brandon came and worked on our system. They were extremely nice and very professional. They got right to work and stayed about 4 hours to get the work done. They were great! I highly recommend both if you want to request someone to work in your home. After the work was completed and they left we asked if they could come back and change the direction of the vent pipe. This had to do with our personal preference on how it looked. When I called and asked if we could change the orientation of the vent pipe and they were so understanding and nice. They came the next day and completed the work and could not be have been nicer. Especially because they had clearly explained where they were going to put the vent pipe, what it would look like before they began the work and we had agreed to it. They told us they wanted us to be 100% satisfied with their work and we definitely are. I would highly recommend Eco plumbers and especially Adam and Brandon to complete the work!

ECO PLUMBERS installed a new water heater for us. Their program has a plumber come to the house and scope out what needs to be done - size of heater and location. Braun B came as scheduled and we discussed my needs. He took pictures of my old heater and we discussed the replacement. I did not like the brand/warranty period of the model the suggested. But Braun worked with me so I could select an acceptable model. So "Cost of Service" below is only for services and parts and does not include the water heater. Brian Wampler did the installation. He called to advise when he would arrive and arrived as promised. It took him about 2 hrs to hook up the new unit and haul out the old one. He was very polite and considerate. He also provided all the documents and showed us how to drain the unit on a regular basis to prolong its life. I was very pleased with their use of technology to record operational items before and after installation. They were very thorough and reasonably priced for the services performed.

Got almost an immediate call from a service call email I sent on the weekend - that was unexpected. Appointment scheduled 5 days later but with holiday in middle of week that wasn't too bad. John arrived on time and the communication informing me of his arrival time, appointment reminder was great. John ran through several options with respect to the services I needed. It seemed expensive to me but I did not price out against others. He was very helpful with respect to telling me what really needed to be done. He was professional and considerate of my home and my time. He suggested replacing all of the toilet parts. He replaced all and replaced piping under sink. So far all seems in good working order.

I initially called a plumbing firm that I've used for more than 25 years and is highly rated on Angie's List, but that firm couldn't replace the water heater for 10 days. I would have had to go without hot water for that long. So I checked Angie's List and found The Eco Plumbers & Drains also is highly rated. I called Eco about 8:30 a.m. on a Friday. A service technician came about 10:30 a.m. to assess the situation. A two-person crew arrived about 3 p.m., removed the old water heater and installed the new water heater. I was amazed at the prompt service. I suspect Eco can't provide one-day service on every job, but the technician said the company gives priority to customers whose water heaters must be replaced because it's difficult for customers to go without hot water. I will definitely call Eco for future plumbing services.

very well. My new faucet came apart 6 weeks after having it installed. After the plumbers failed to show up to repair it as scheduled, I called Eco Plumbers. Two days later, the job was done correctly.

OMG! I have NEVER seen a job go that fast! This evening after heavy rains all day, I found my 30-year-old sump pump leaking and spraying water in our basement-full-of-important-things. I had to turn the pump off to stop the spraying, and with more rains predicted for the next several days, I was more than a little worried about flooding. At 10:30pm I called The Eco Plumbers, and left a message with an answering service, indicating it was an emergency. IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES I got a call back, saying they'd have someone here in 45 minutes. "Dan" arrived on the dot, at 11:30pm, had everything in the truck to replace the pump, and was finished and gone in less than an hour. He even offered me options for pricier fancier models, explained the differences, and happily proceeded when I chose the "upper-low-end" model. He was pleasant and professional, answered all my questions, and when he finished, he would have stayed longer to do more work if I'd had more plumbing jobs to do. I am SO glad I called this evening, to avoid a possible catastrophe in the morning had I waited. On the way out, I asked him about our odd-model toilets, and he quickly gave me the options and prices if we'd ever want to replace them. These are my go-to plumbers now! Thanks so much for peace of mind and a good night's sleep now!

It went awesome. Things were able to be repaired as opposed to replaced. Service was done the day of the appointment and done very well. Was impressed that the work was done on the day of the service appointment as I had expected an estimate and then the work would have to be schedule some time in the future . I would definitely call them again for any work needed in the future. The service person was genuinely interested in giving 5 star service and that he did!

This company has mastered communications very well. They lay out everything very clearly and keep you informed throughout the process. The people who worked at my house were pleasant, professional, and punctual.

The Plumbers (Derek L and Chris B) get an A+. The Eco Plumbers scheduling policy and lack of sense gets a resounding F, though Derek L and Chris B saved my weekend. I completely disagree with The Eco Plumbers' policy that if you don't pick up the phone or return the text then they skip right over you, even though I booked the appointment for first appointment of the day and more than a week in advance -- a policy that wasted an entire day for my builder and for me because when EcoPlumbers texted me at 7:19a, I was exercising without my head buried in my phone. Silly me, I assumed that when we scheduled for first-of-day, 8 days in advance that they would show up! I understand they don't want a tech to sit in rush-hour traffic for a customer that's MIA, or has changed their mind, or has been dealt a personal emergency, however when a project is scheduled first-of-day, 8 days in advance, is holding up the homeowner and other contractors, and I'm texted at 7:19a for an 8-10a arrival... we may have expected a confirmation call, but not a blow off. They skipped us because I didn't return a text or a phone call when I was busy doing other things, as their arrival was the reliability point we were all operating around that day. When I called to share my controlled, civil rage, Eco finally sent out John who spent nearly an hour quoting the work, not doing it. His quote was $1600+ to start now, or pay $1339 for 2 guys to do it "tomorrow". Really? Is that a thing? If you can stomach THAT BS, Derek and Chris arrived late the next day and were exceptional, timely, communicative, likeable, competent, committed to solutions and a joy to work with to complete the 5 projects we had for them, staying until nearly 6p on a Friday afternoon to get everything done. They hooked up the dishwasher, clamped old sink lines, installed a secondary whole-house shut off valve, installed a faucet and disposal, and hooked up lines under a farm sink. Chris and Derek saved my weekend and whatever of EcoPlumbers' reputation was salvageable at the time. This was a mini-case study of exceptional technical employees having to operate within and overcome ridiculous policy measures designed to provide position-of-strength scheduling for the company at the clear cost of customer disappointment. What a penny-wise, pound-foolish financial consideration. Chris and Derek still pulled it off; If I were to start a plumbing company, poaching Chris and Derek from Eco Plumbers would be my first course of action.

Good professional service is so hard to find! This was a delight. On time arrival, years of experience, polite, and the work was done quickly and properly. I will definitely hire Eco Plumber again. Now if I could only find someone this conscientious to help with my kitchen project.

I wasn't impressed. I had contacted a few companies and they said they were booking a few days out (most companies were for non-urgent matters). They called once to tell me they had an opening (about 30 minutes notice), but I couldn't make it and I told them I had scheduled someone else to come out, but thanks for the call back. A company calls me back later in the day (about 15 miuntes before my window with the other company) and says they will be there in a half hour, so I just assumed it was this other company. They show up, meet my wife and get an estimate ready for $189 (which seems outrageous but it was a rental and my tenants needed this toilet fixed). Also, the $189 is fitting since at $200 they offer $35 off, so perfect to just be under the $189. Then they tell her the flapper is broken (I just replaced it and the toilet hadn't been used since I replaced it), so she agrees to have that fixed ($10 more). So the entire service cost $199, but at $200 they give a $35 coupon. This is the third item I have gotten a quote from them on, the other two were at my primary residence. They quoted $1,200 to fix a backflow drain cap, another guy fixed for $48. In all fairness, he did tell me to call someone else because they would charge an arm and a leg for that fix. They quoted me $1,300 to reconfigure plumbing to have our washer/dryer in the basement, I haven't gotten a 2nd quote yet, but I am guessing it will be about half of that. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF. UNLESS YOU NEED SOMETHING FIXED ASAP, CALL ELSEWHERE. *I will add the employees all seem very friendly, but I am not impressed with the outrageous cost for everything. If they had told me that they were the EcoPlumber when they called, I would have very clearly told them we will not be using their service and we will not be using their service in the future.

The crew ran into quite a few difficulties but persisted until they could pull the line (least expensive of two options).

Needed emergency repair work done and they acted quickly to come out for an estimate and were able to repair the next day. They took care to minimize the damage to my landscaping and even came back to patch the grass. Would use them again and would recommend to others.

I called Eco on 5/29 and was offered an appointment for 5/30. Brian came out at expected time & on his own installed the tank. Brian was very professional & task oriented. He was approachable & friendly, answering questions & explaining our new water heater.

Perfect. Also learned not to use chlorine-based fresheners in the tank!

The only person worth anything at this company is Nick, an excellent plumber and communicator. But, I will not be using this company again. Today was the last straw. After using them on 3 different occasions for major plumbing work totaling @10K (where we had to have them back multiple times to repair the shoddy work of the first team they sent out), we called to have them look at repairing three of our outdoor faucets. I was awakened before 7:30 a.m. to say the plumber would be at my home by 8:30. I called the office @9:10 to find out what was going on and the receptionist told me she'd call me back to let me know the status of my appointment. I never received a return call. The plumber showed up at 9:30 - one hour later than I'd been told at 7:27! When he arrived, he offered no apology. When I asked about the delay, he explained saying he was in a meeting with ECO's president and that he also needed to take care of Urban Meyer's sisters's job or neighbor's job (I can't remember which, since I was so flabbergasted that he used such an excuse, true or not, as if that would make his tardiness okay with me). I mean I like Ohio State and all, but really? The price to put in three new outdoor faucets was going to be @$1500, which seems pretty high. As I said at the beginning, Nick is exemplary. He fixed everything the other plumbers/excavators messed up, communicated well with us, was on time, was totally professional. If he were to have his own company, I'd be first in line to use his services. What's that saying?: Fool me once, your fault; fool me twice, my fault. I wish I would have taken my own advice months ago.
