Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians

I had them replace some leaky faucets and I thought it was a bit pricey. Given that they charged me $200 for the repair. I didn't ask for a quote before I called them and this service wasn't a deal or anything but it was just that I had liked their services when they did the Big Deal service on my garbage disposal repair.

I was thinking I would need an entire new sump pump but was happy to learn that I did not. The sump pump was fixed and the technician was helpful and quick.

They were efficient, reasonable priced. They knew what they were doing. They did a nice job.

The technician was prompt and completed the service as requested. He also checked on the status of the previous work done by the company. I was satisifed with their work and will continue to use EcoPlumbers in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. It was very reasonable given what they were doing. I had looked at several services that were about 3 times that much. They also had some kind of care about the environment, which I liked. I wasn't there when they came. They were able to give us some helpful feedback about what they saw and the camera was helpful too. I didn't spend any additional.

It went very well, from the first phone call I placed, Braun got in touch with me right away and when he believed that he wasn't going to make it in time to my house because of a prior service call was taking longer than expected, he made it right. Today, Adam showed up in time and got the job done more quickly than I expected. Both he and his co-worker were friendly and courteous and explained everything that they had done and answered questions when I had concerns. They worn booties to protect my floor and were very careful to clean up after the work was done. I will be hiring them again in the future to replace the lines going up into my kitchen as the rest of the house's water pressure is terrific and the kitchen is better, but not as much as the rest of the house (still has galvanized pipes and was not part of the work to be done). All in all, it was a much better experience than I expected and the results are phenomenal, I'm very pleased. I have no doubts that I will be using them again and would have no problems recommending them to others.

Discovered a wet basement on a Saturday morning; sump pump failed. Adam arrived within a couple hours and quickly replaced the pump. Quick and professional.

Amar was very professional and helpful in explaining issues and replacement options for the original toilets in our 20+ year old home. Arrived promptly and completed his work very thoroughly in a short period of time. High marks for him and for Eco Plumbing.

I had a sewage backup in my basement and i called Roto Rooter to come and fix it. They charge me over $600 for less than one hour of work. They then went on to tell me that they had to dig up my front yard at a cost of $10,000 to fix the issue due to a tree root in my pipe. I called EcoPlumbers for a second opinion an they ran a camera and told me that there was no tree root in my pipe and that the salesman was basically trying to upsell me on a big job that they make commission on. He did tell me the layout of my basement piping "could" use a redesign being that i had two main lines in my house and they met at a joint point and not at an angle facing out to the pipe that took the sewage out. But then he told me that if it was his house he wouldn't replace it. He didn't charge me for the appointment either!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. IT IS TOUGH TO FIND AN HONEST PERSON FOR A REASONABLE COST!!! They are truly ethical people here (or at least that was my experience).

Braun was very professional from the beginning and performed the work in a very timely manner. He was even respectful as to ask what time he should arrive based on my son's nap time since he would need to use a saw for a portion of the work performed.

The technician arrived on time and was polite. When I took him to the water heater, he stated that there was a risk that the water heaters would spring a leak during the flushing process (not a risk mentioned in the Bid Deal). The water heaters are 6-7 years old and the technician told me that they were at the end of their life and needed to be replaced (he hadn't done anything this point except read the "manufactured" date on the label). I told him I was not going to buy new water heaters and told him I would simply request a refund for the Big Deal. He wrote up a couple of estimates. When I asked if my Big Deal money could be applied to the purchase of the new water heater, he said, "no". I felt like he was more interested in selling me something than doing the work. To his credit, he asked if there was anything else he could do and I told him no since I would be requesting a refund. He did offer to inspect the sump pump, but it's sealed due to radon mitigation system.

When I first made an appointment with this company I asked for someone to come out and give me a quote on the work we needed done. They sent out a tech who was very nice but unable to give me a quote, he quickly contacted the office and I made another appointment. When someone did come out to quote the project they had the quote prepared and emailed to me by that evening which was so nice, some contractors make you wait a week or more! I didn't have to wait long for an appointment but I did have to make it on a day when I was going to be at work so I gave them my phone number if they had any questions. I felt comfortable with them being in my home when I was not there. I didn't hear from them until the afternoon when I got a call saying all the work had been completed and that I needed to give my credit card information over the phone for the remainder of the bill. A big mistake now that I look back because when I got home I found that not all of the work had been completed. I called immediately and pointed out that the new shut-off had not been replaced and none of the old galvanized pipes had been replaced. He acknowledged the mistakes and told me he needed to come back out to finish the washer drain vent at a later date anyways and he would take care of the things he missed at that time. I also questioned him about the permits from the city he told me not to worry that they would take care the getting the appropriate inspections. However when I logged on to the city's website I saw that no permit had ever been pulled for the work, even though I was charged over $200 on the quote for permitting. When I called to follow up I was put in contact with the service manger, Braun. I told him that there was no record of any permits being pulled for our home and he told us it was an office error and they would take care of it. Braun took care of making sure all the appropriate permits were pulled and he emailed me a list of everything that still needed to be done so we were all on the same page and I was satisfied that it would finally be taken care of. However, when I came home the second time I found only half the work that Braun had told me would be done was actually completed! We contacted Braun about the second round of umcompleted work and he offered to meet with us at the house and discuss what our expectations were are how they could meet them. However, at this point we were ready to move on with inspections and complete our renovation so we declined another appointment. I think this company would be fine for a leaking pipe or hot water heater upgrade, but if you have a project bigger than that I would stay away. Also check your quote closely and check the work with your own eyes before you pay so you can verfiy all the work has been completed. I take some personal responsibility for a lot of the problems with this job, I should have been home and watched them more closely. I guess with such high reviews on this website I was just a little to trusting.

He showed up early after calling to see if we might be available because he'd had a cancellation - great news for us! We can get our new range two days ahead of schedule! He wore covers on his boots so he did not track mud into the house, cleaned up after himself, was personable and professional and got the work done quickly! A+

Excellent service. They arrived & started just before 9am. I decided to change out my conventional water heater for a tankless at Gary's suggestion. They worked through the garage & laundry room, removing the old water heater (and assorted accessories). They did a great job re-routing the piping so that the tankless could be mounted on the wall and they even swept the room before they left. The entire process took maybe 8 hours total and the noise was minimal so I was able to work from home. They handled all the necessary permits, brought in an electrician (the tankless water heaters have to have their own outlet); the entire thing could not have been more straightforward and the guys could not have been nicer. The total cost was literally exactly what was on the quote. I ended up with extra space in my laundry room (tiny room to start with), added value to my home and I'm looking forward to getting my next electric bill, just to see how much I save with the more efficient heater. It's a little longer to get to the hot water (maybe 60-90 seconds) but once it's hot, it stays that way until you turn it off, no more running out of hot water before your shower's done or one person using all the hot water, etc. It's a bit of a $$ investment up front but the tankless heaters have a much longer life span and will pay for themselves. If you need to replace your water heater and can afford the upfront costs I strongly encourage that you do so, it's absolutely worth it.

Eco Plumbers was able to provide service same day as call. Staff member called and showed up as scheduled, diagnosed problems, went to get parts, and repaired faucet. He was quite meticulous, repeatedly testing before he left. He also explained how the faucet works and what he did to repair it. Very cordial.

The work was done very well and quickly. The service man wore shoe coverings in my home and was very neat with his work. It was one of the best experiences I have had with a service provider.

FINALLY!!!! A plumbing contractor that returns phone calls, "AND" actually shows up for an appointment. I can't say enough how happy I am with Eco. From the estimate to completing the job, they were professional, personable, and thorough. The best part....they actually showed up when they said they would. If you need a plumber for anything; call them first.

They have to come back since they don't have the purchase that I told them to bring. The price was too high.

Well, they did a lot of other work while they were there. The problem is the toilet is not yet working properly. They also claimed that the tune up does not include what I thought it would include but they did it anyway. The Angie's List deal was not so clear so they apologized. It did not include the ream but they went and installed it anyway. Since I thought that the toilet tune up would include that as well they said that the reams were in the water area not on the fault. It was my mistake maybe but they stood behind me. I let them do other work and coordinated on the cost on other projects. They are also expensive.

When I called this company I was able to schedule a day/time that worked best for me. We were given a 3 hour window and the service person, Chris, arrived within that window. He called 30 minutes before arrival to let us know he was on his way. Once here he cleaned out the main drain from the kitchen which was also affecting the dishwasher, clothes washer and sink. He also discovered the problem with the garbage disposal which was a broken piece of metal that had jammed it. Chris did an amazing job from start to finish. I recommend this company!

Ecoplumbers is always a very professionally run group. I have confidence that the job will be done correctly. This was no exception. This was on a Saturday, so there was an extra charge for "after hours." The Angies List discount helped to even that out. The new pump has been quietly working beautifully. Unlike some places that advertise emergency weekend services and don't call back in a timely manner, Ecoplumbers actually responded within minutes to my call for assistance.
