Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians

I called the eco-plumbers based on all the excellant reviews. I was having problems with one of the toilets in my house not flushing properly. They came out same day I called which was nice, and were able to clear the toilet. They did not offer any solutions as to why I was having the problem, or what to do to keep it from happening in the future. The associate that came to my house was courtious and friendly, but maybe too friendly. I had to take time from work to come home to meet him and then return to finish my work that afternoon, so I wasn't really that interested in chatting about pets and looking at pictures on his i-pad. I also asked about the cost of replacing my old water heater. He was able to do that right away. What I thought was strange was all the details about how much of the cost was for things like incidental supplies (overhead). It seemed like a lot of hype to me, considering I did not get any information on the actual water heater they would install (type of liner, pvc vs copper piping, insulation, etc. -the things I was really interested in knowing. The reason I wouldn't use them again, is because there is another plumber that I've used in the past that i liked better, so I would use that company instead.

My experience was wonderful and they did a fabulous job. The price was reasonable. They provided an excellent service and touched base with me well. He also fixed one of the handles in the kitchen at no charge.

He was helpful and frank about his thoughts. I will seriously consider using this company when I move forward with installing a backup sump pump.

I had an Angie's list Big Deal for toilet maintenance. I also had one for a different deal that had expired. When I called to schedule I said that I wanted to apply that to the ice maker job. I was told that they would still honor the deal, but not that I couldn't use it. Scheduling went fine and the plumber arrived. He installed the ice maker line, and so far so good. When he did the maintenance on the toilet he did a repair to fix a leak, and then discovered that there was another leak after the first repair was done. The plumber suggested that it would be better to replace the toilet at this point and I decided to do that. So, after he's removed my old toilet and goes to install the new one, he realizes that it won't fit in my space (counter extends over the back). Not wanting a hole in my floor I tell him he can carve the bottom out of the counter, but still won't fit. As I was unwilling to tear out the counter as it is on my wallpapered wall, he determines that he can get one that will fit. This is something I would probably do myself - not something a professional should have happen (what's that about measuring twice?) and why not get the one that will fit as soon as he realizes the original won't fit? And now when I wanted to pay and include the expired deal funds on the ice maker I was told I had to use them on the original deal. To top matters off, my basement trash can, with trash in it so I can't just dump it, also had water from the ice maker line in it, even though there was an empty bucket nearby. So, at least I do have a working (not sure about the quality) toilet, albeit with an ugly carved out counter edge, and the ice maker line is much better than before. I'm just out the funds (not included in cost) from that first Big Deal as I don't believe I want to risk going through this again.

I had to pay $20 over the big deal. I liked the guy that came out and he was very prompt. It was perfect and I would use him again.

Called mid morning and was able to get appointment for late afternoon. We were without hot water and had a group of college boys scheduled to be stay in our home for the week. Not a good combo! Was told it would be between 4 and 7, but would try and make it as early as possible. We were called by Adam H (technician) around 3:30 and Adam arrived a bit before 4. Adam looked at the water heater and was able to quickly determine the problem. We had installed this water heater ourselves, so there was no service warranty on it. Adam was kind enough to explain how we could clean the flame sensors ourselves - a fairly simple process. He was willing to do the work, but was all about saving us some money if possible - if we wanted to try and clean the sensors ourselves - something that is a fairly simple process. Adam explained how to do the work - and on top of it all - there was no service charge! There is some other work we are interested in pursuing in the near future - possible tankless water heater - and some plumbing/drain inspections - and this company just earned our business - no doubt! The BEST experience I have EVER had with a plumbing company - and not just because I saved a bit of money. Yes, that helps, but the professionalism, great care, and just general customer service will keep us coming back! Thanks Eco Plumbers! You have earned a new customer!

The Eco Plumbers arrived on time and performed the work in approximately 30 minutes. The old garbage disposal was removed and the new one installed without any mess. Everything appears to be working well. The plumbers were pleasant and acted professionally. I would recommend this company.

With Eco Plumbers the technician Chris came to our home promptly, he was fast,courteous and able to clean up after work was completed. We were very pleased with his work.

The service turned out fine, they came out and did what I had asked them to do. I wasn't here when they came out, but the people who came out said they were fine. They came out when they said they would, and they did the work well, and everything went the way it was supposed to. They were professional when I spoke to them on phone.

Gary made suggestions for upgrades which I appreciated but declined. I felt confident in allowing him to repair whatever he thought was needed. I liked the fact that he applied discounts whenever possible.

I called and spoke with a representative. She collected all my information and a description of the work. The representative was pleasant and professional. However, they never called back.

They gave me a two hour window for arrival which was much nicer than the 4 hour windows you get from some service providers. They were on time and did a nice job. No issues with the installation.

Adam and Dan were GREAT! The guys were so personable and answered all of my questions very honestly. They showed up on time and completed the job in less time than anticipated. The scheduling manager, Braun, was just as great to work with. He came to my house for a free estimate of the system installation and I ended up getting a very fair price. I received various emails between scheduling and completion to inform me of the appointment and the agreed upon terms. As with my previous experience with The Eco Plumbers, I could really tell these guys don't work on commission. All of my conversations with them are very stress-free. I'll definitely keep going back to them.

This company is fantastic. I have never dealt with a plumbing company that was so dedicated to customer service. I contacted them on a Sunday through their website and received a call within a half hour! I set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. They called ahead to let me know when they were coming and arrived on time. Adam was very knowledgeable and professional. He took care of my problems in a timely manner. That evening I received a call from the company to asked how the work went. Turns out I had a slight leak and Adam returned the next morning and took care of it. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Chris was very professional and honest. The sump pump failed and our basement had flooded. He came out on a Sunday evening, found the problem and replaced it quickly. The after-hours service charge was very reasonable. We were very pleased and we would use them again.

It was great! He found the problem, fixed it without a hitch and charged us only for a house call because he felt it was such an easy fix. He was so honest! He could have told us we needed a new sump pump-instead he said he needed to tape a tube in place.

After consulting the List, we called Eco Plumber & explained that our sump pump's alarm went off, what type of pump we have, and that, not being familiar with sump pumps, we didn't know if it qualified as emergency or not -- but that it was a monsoon over here and threatening to rain for two more days, and we were scared that maybe the house could start flooding. The receptionist said that she already had a guy out in the field a couple cities over, and that he'd want to do a "free estimate" to "see it for himself, to diagnose it". We stopped calling plumbers and waited -- while he completed his other job.When the "tech"(not plumber?) arrived & saw the pump, he said they don't work on those (Basement Watchdog). As a red "battery" light was lit, I asked him a question about servicing the battery (something I'm told it's necessary to do sometimes for sumps), he said "I don't mess with those". Then, WITHOUT diagnosing the problem, he offered to sell us a $900 system (which I'm now told techs often make commission on). Our last pump had burned out early; and once diagnosed, the plumber mentioned it hadn't had the necessary drilled hole when installed, thus causing its early demise. We mentioned this to Eco Plumbing's technician, asking if it might have the same problem. He mentioned that he never drills the hole; but the next plumber fixed the problem by drilling the hole! After wasting all this time, (staving off the rain, waiting for him to finish his other job and come over), only to get someone who, instead of diagnosing the problem, wants to sell and install a whole new system, we called a plumber-friend of a friend. He came straight over, tested the pump and observed what it did, saw & heard an air-lock, and fixed it -- for less than 10 percent of the amount the first plumber wanted. (We did try to call the next day, Friday, to let them know of this experience, but were unsuccessful at reaching anyone the couple times we tried.)

They were very professional and courteous. We were pleased over all with the work they did. Scheduling was good. We will use them again if we need the service.

Very pleasant administrative personnel - followed up on scheduling several times and worked with me so I could come from work and not stay home. Plumber showed me clearly what was wrong and made suggestions for short and long term fixes. Did work quickly and efficiently; cleaned up thoroughly. The company followed up to ensure all was well. Apart from the cost which was clearly explained and fair, a good experience.

I saw Super Service award on Angies List so thought it was safe to call them. They did come promptly. I was quoted 1175 to change my hot water tank. I declined because of the cost. My dad and cousin drove up from Marietta and checked it. I didn't even need a new hot water tank. They tightened a connection and the problem was fixed. They were appalled at how your company tried to take me .

Seven days after the disposal is installed, my kitchen sink will no longer drain. The technician comes out, takes a quick peak and tells me, "it's your drain problem"; and, "it is impossible for the installation of the disposal to cause the drain stoppage". The technician goes on to explain how pipes can get clogged, how pitch of my pipes is completely wrong, and how all these things, other than, the disposal installation are my problem. I have experienced no issues with my plumbing in the 12 years I have lived in this house. The technician was completely unwilling to consider the disposal installation could have caused my problem. Insisting it is simply coincidence that my kitchen sink clogs 7 days after the disposal is installed; keep in mind, installation included reworking the kitchen sink plumbing.
