They came in, flushed one toilet and then flushed the other. He said they were fine and dont need anything. I told him there was a leak downstairs so then he went and took a look at it. He told me it's not from the toilet but from my shower. He said if they have to come back out, it would be 500.00 to fix it. I was very upset at that they call a 5 point tune up because he didnt inspect the toilet or anything at all.

The 5-point toilet tune-up includes inspecting and adjusting the fill valve, cleaning the flush valve seat, replacing the worn flapper. There was suppose to be a dye test toilet to ensure proper seal and adjusting the tank lever operation. However, I do not recall a dye test unless the dye is real light and hard to see. Correct me if the dye test was performed. Two valve was shown to me for evidence of worn. However, I would suggest to those having this 5 point test to retrieve the old valve for safe keep, to compare the look of the old valve in case of future replacement. I did not think of it until after Chris left.

I had to cancel this contractor because they couldn't keep an appointment. The first time I scheduled they double-booked me. The second time I booked, the plumber was 2 hours late and I still hadn't heard from him. I have seen good reviews for this company, but I did not get the sense that they wanted my business. :(

I was pleased that they got the work done and all old materials removed in 1 hr time. Cost was $620 which seems reasonable - I did not compare other companies' estimates. They discussed future work and left materials on the products that they install. Overall a good experience, they cleaned up where they worked and took care not to spill water.

It went well. At first I was afraid it was leaking but it seems to be okay.

I was in the process of selling a house and, while it was vacant, someone broke in and stole exposed plumbing in the basement, including the main drain, and damaged the existing hot water heater in the process. Eco Plumbers responded to my initial email within 10 minutes and was there the very next day to give an estimate on repairs. I explained the tight timeline of doing the repairs in order to keep the existing closing date. The only complaint I have was that they didn't explain that the job would take 2 days when I had assumed it was just 1, but everything was completed a day prior to my deadline so overall they completed the work sooner than expected. The price was on par with other reputable plumbers in the area and Eco Plumbers worked directly with my insurance company to complete the repairs within the scope of my claim. I was thrilled with the materials they used, and they timeframe in which the repairs were completed. It was a seamless process and they even surprised me with a brand new washer hook-up that wasn't in the initial quote. Very professional company and I would definitely use them again.

It was fine. They did what they were supposed to do. He was extremely pleasant.

Barry and his assistant were very professional and knowledgeable. They completed all the work in two visits (necessary due to timing of other work associated with a bath room remodeling) and responded promptly the next day when the reset toilet demonstrated a leak at the tank connection to the seat. It was corrected immediately. I would use ECO Plumbing and Barry again for any work in the future.

Our kitchen sink was making a horrible clang/thumping noise when turned on. We had received a couple other quotes that seemed high - and were not given the option to fix it, only replace the unit. Eco Plumbers tried first to fix it. After taking it apart, I was then told repair would be quite extensive and costly and they recommended replacement. Chris spent a lot of time talking through different options and educating me. He installed a new unit and also fixed another problem he discovered. He was very professional and I think the price was fair. I would definitely use them again.

Two men showed up, Tim and Dan. They were very careful to put on booties at the door every time they went in or out of the house. They arrived on time. The repairs were done within an hour. The only negative thing I would say is that they did not clean up all the gritty black debris from the pipe that was removed. There was debris in our sink and on the floor that I had to wipe up and sweep up.

Completed satisfactorily. Pleasant and timely response.

It turned out very well. The ease with which to do business with them. They were fairly professional, and they were not the cheapest, but I would pay a little more for increased professionalism.

My experience with them was positive. I think it was a good service. I would tell a friend or family member that they provide a pretty good service that I recommend they look into if they have a Deal that kind of matches their needs. I would tell them to consider calling them up and see if they can fit them in their schedule.

Called Eco Plumbers. They took down all my contact information. Told them I needed my toilet snaked. Told them I'd seen on Angie's List that a number of people had used the tune-up special for repairs and asked if I could use that. No, the tune-up special doesn't cover that. Asked for an estimate. I was told a technician would come on-site, give me an estimate, and then I could decide if I wanted the work done. I said that snaking a toilet is routine and they should be able to give an estimate. No. Asked if I could speak to a technician for an estimate. No, they are all in the field. Was told an appointment could be made for six days from now. I declined. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I have a major problem with a company that can't give a ball park figure on a routine procedure.

They couldn't do the exact work we needed, but they were very kind and honest and we appreciated that.

Eco plumber exceeded my expectations. Awesome company. I called for a second opinion after getting a $4000 estimate from another company. For about 200 bucks Chris came out from eco plumber unclogged our sewer line in about an hour and told us we didnt need to make thousands of dollars in repairs that the other company claimed we needed. They have my business permanently. Great people with a customer service focus wouldnt call anyone else.

The plumber arrived and took one look at the water heater and its leak and said it needed replaced. He was very helpful in explaining what could happen if we didn't replace it so we went ahead with it. It turns out the water heater was 27 years old so definitely a worth while investment to replace before it had a catastrophic failure!

There was a slight communication problem as I was supposed to receive a call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Luckily, I had left work early and saw the truck before I left the neighborhood. Overall, the two gentlemen were polite and finished the job quickly. There was no hard upsell (which I very much appreciated).

Over the summer I had started to get very low hot water flow to my main bathroom. I came to discover that the lines running to the bathroom were galvanized piping that ran through the crawl space under my house (my house is on a slab). I figured they hadn't been replaced since the house was built in the 50's and it was time to get them replaced I had two company's out to quote the job, including eco-plumbers. The service people quoted me $2800 to replace the galvanized pipe with PEX in the crawl space, and the guy who did the estimate from Eco-Plumbers said they could do it for $1000. Both guys went into the crawl space to take a look around and said it wouldn't be a problem to do. Naturally, I went with Eco-Plumbers for the price. Two different guys came over a week later to do the job. A couple hours in, they gave me a call and said they could get to the main bathroom and it had been blocked off in the crawl space. They said I would need to contact a builder/contractor to bulldoze a hole in the floor of the bathroom to create an access point so they could get to the bathroom. They said this was not something they could do. They didn't offer any other solutions and basically just buggered off. On top of that, when I came back home the toilet tank in the main bathroom wouldn't stop overflowing. I'm not sure how that happened, but it was fine before I left. I was pretty disappointed in this since I had several companies tell me before hand that this could be done through the crawl space. I have my suspicions on whether or not this job could actually be done. Either way, I was peeved they offered no other solutions and made the job more complicated for me. I decided to get the job looked at by some other companies. None of the other people who came out went into the crawl space to look around since it was about 10 degrees outside. But Accurate Plumbing said that they could just do CPVC piping off the water lines in the laundry room and get to the bathroom. No only did this only cost $750, but it also had the added benefit of keeping the pipes inside the house walls so we knew they wouldn't freeze. On top of that, the guy fixed my toilet to stop it from over-flowing for no extra charge. Basically, these guys were useless and just ended up costing me time.

Tech was on time and finished job quickly.

We recently had our main sewer line back up into our basement because of tree roots. Unfortunately for us, we did not call The Eco Plumbers right away. Instead we called a ?Roto? plumbing company to handle the unblocking of the line. After the ?Roto? company snaked the line (with a small cutter), they proceeded to hard sell, with what we now feel were scare tactics, and rip us off with their water restoration and clean-up service. They then sent another guy out to our house to put a camera in the sewer line. I should have known from the start that this was not a service visit, it was a sales visit. The ?Roto? plumbing company said the only way to completely clear the line of roots is use a 6 inch cutter but, unfortunately for us, the pipe going from our basement clean-out to the main line was only 4 inches wide. They said that in order to get a 6 inch cutter in, we would need to spend at least $5k and have our landscaping dug up to install a new 6 inch clean-out in the front of our house. After this estimate, we decided to call The Eco Plumbers in for a second opinion on how to rid the main sewer line of the roots. Reading the incredible reviews on this site, I instantly felt comfortable knowing that The Eco Plumbers would be able to give us a good estimate on the repairs needed to clear the roots from our main sewer line. After emailing The Eco Plumbers, I was promptly contacted by their Office Manager Roslyn to set up an appointment to have one of their technicians out. After the appointment was scheduled, I was emailed a work order that listed the services that I needed completed and told that the technician would call 30 minutes before they would be arriving at our house. Like promised, I received a call from their technician Chris 30 minutes before arrival. When Chris arrived, I instantly felt comfortable with him because he looked professional and put on booties to cover his feet. This was not done by the ?Roto? company that was previously in my home. I explained our root situation to Chris and told him the options that the ?Roto? company gave us to solve the issue. He wanted to take a look before making any judgments but I could tell that he was very experienced in drains based on our conversation. After Chris inspected the basement clean-out and also other floor drains, he explained to me in plumbing terms that I could understand what was needed to be done to solve our problem. He was able to show me the complete estimate on his Mini IPad. Chris?s solution was not to dig up our landscaping and spend $5k in order to install a new 6 inch clean-out because he COULD in-fact put a 6 inch cutter into our current 4 inch pipe. Right then, I knew that I could trust Chris's experience and knowledge and that his goal was to help me, not rip me off. Chris was able to clean every root from our line and inspect it with a camera to verify that it was cleared. He made sure that I viewed the camera with him. He explained my options for future maintenance of the line and cost effective ways to make sure that the line does not back up again. What was originally estimated to be a $5k repair headache ended up costing us $340 for the same outcome. Not only was Chris honest and professional, he was also very personable and an all-around great guy. He is certainly an MVP in my book. The Eco Plumbers are now a contact on my phone for any future plumbing needs. They are highly recommended!!

Technician was on time and completed the repairs quickly. Finished repairs were all neatly done and of professional quality. I'm very satisfied with all work done, the questions answered by the technician (Tim) and his overall knowledge of how my problems could be resolved.
