Punctual, friendly, neat. The technician kept us updated on progress and showed us the end result with the camera after cleaning everything out.

All times went well and getting ready to call again the repair a leaky faucet and replace a kitchen faucet.

My water heater had stopped working. Eco plumbers came out and checked it, realizing the pilot light was out. They relit the pilot and made sure there was nothing causing it to repeatedly go out.

The beginning of this mission was tough as we had a granite sink undermounted into a granite countertop. The sink failed and we received a replacement sink from the manufacturer. Long story short, although the new sink could be a drop in as well as undermount, if we went with undermounting, it would require a granite specialist company to place the sink properly with potential damage to the existing countertop. We opted for drop in,but the new sink did not fit the existing undermount cutout. So we had to also hire a granite specialist who did a great job resizing the hole. Finally we were able to get Eco Plumbers out to finish the job. Adam showed up for the final work and did a great job. He was done quick and with no mess. We were very pleased. There was some confusion between the dispatcher and Adam as to the cost of the revised 2nd estimate, but Adam and his supervisor straightened this out in a few minutes.

The hot water tank flue line was not drafting to the outside of the house. Have the service provider come out to fix it. The technician cleaned out the debris and tested the flue line within half an hour. All in all it went well. The only reason I gave a Good as opposed to Great for professionalism was because the technician switched off the furnace when trying to test the drafting of the hot water tank, and forgot to switch it back on afterwards, but not a deal breaker. Will consider to hire again in the future. PS. the company uses paperless process, appreciate the green effort.

Great company to work with. Easy to schedule, technician arrived promptly, was courteous and professional. Explained what he was going to do, explained workings of toilet and how to maintain it . Kept area clean, even wore shoe covers He even provided inspection of water heater, and sump pump. He made recommendations on new toilet, tankless water heater etc, but no high pressure. He even emailed me links to review. Because of this, I had chance to review information and will most likely schedule the work. Would not hesitate to use this company, and I hope I get the same technician Chris

did not have money at the time and they left me solution for $50 and the job was suppose to be $200

Initially asked for estimate to fix two outside waterline a and dripping faucet in bathroom. Had used this provider before for small jobs and was happy with their work. They came for the estimate and told me that they would have to put holes in the wall to replace the shower heads and could not fix them but would have to replace them. In addition was told outdoor lines could not be repaired but would need replacement with ditches in the yard thus tearing up the yard. In addition they pushed additional work that I did not ask for including a tankless water heater and a Halo system which I agreed to do. My first mistake was agreeing to the work without a detailed estimate. The other mistake was paying the entire estimate up front. The usual situation is to ask for about 1/3 of the cost. I never got a detailed work estimate until the work was done and that was after repeated requests. In addition it took them three months to complete the work. They also tore up my paver driveway lost pavers and neglected to to tell me that I was responsible for repairs. That turned out to be a nightmare complication. There appeared to be very little supervision from a managerial level and when I talked to them they did not seem to know what to do. My yard was left with large rocks everywhere I still have sawdusts piles in my basement where they did not cleanup. I would give them an F for cleanup. I feel that this company has a cash flow problem and was not adequately staffed to handle the work that they contracted. In addition I was owed a refund at the which I had to request which took three months to get to me. All in all I was very upset with how I was treated and will never use this company again. They refused to give a rebate for the lack of cleanup and damage to my driveway.

To our surprise, the pipe below our vanity broke on a Sunday afternoon. After calling Eco Plumbers, we were given a 3 hour window of when they would be out for service. The plumber arrived within the time frame given and was able to problem solve very quickly, and was able to fix the broken pipe in a quick turnaround time. Considering this was a Sunday afternoon and an emergency service, and the amount of time required to fix the problem, we thought the price was reasonable. Thank you to Eco Plumbers & we will definitely use their services in the future.

One thing to know about my problem. My house was built in the late '50s so the plumbing on the laundry tub was very old. The 1st Eco visit was on January 26th. I agreed to the work that was to be done even tho I was concerned about the stability of the pipes because the old faucet was secured to the laundry tub. New ones were not. I made contact via e mail on the 27th after receiving a copy of the invoice and expressed my concerns over the quality/stability of the work. I was called by the office immediately after e mail was sent and I explained in detail my worries. She said she would let the service manager know about this. He made contact with me and came out the next day to inspect the work. He had to order a new laundry tub faucet and provided me a picture so I could see it did attach to the laundry tub. As soon as he received it an appointment was made for February 3rd to do the work. In addition to the new faucet he ran new copper piping (old had been cut) and provided new shutoffs on the washer pipes and new cutoffs on the top of the pipes . In the event of any future leaks I would be able to use the shutoffs until help arrives. I am so happy w/the results. Very professional and clean up was great. I will use their services again if the need arises .

Inspected GE water heater and provided free estimate. Indicated that the water heater could not be repaired by ordering parts. Provided estimate to replace water heater at a cost of more than $2000. I got a second opinion and discovered that the water heater could be repaired by ordering a $300 part.

It was very good. They got the job done in about half an hour. The plumber was good and professional. However when he first arrived he didn’t realize that I purchased the package which I had to inform him of and then he immediately got to work on the disposal.

I went very well, I would recommend them.

I was given the time frame of the repair man being here between 10-1. He showed at 12, and called at 11:30 saying he would be here in 30 min. Right on time. I showed him my issues, from the kitchen faucet being loose, to the toilet needing installed, to the faucet I had just installed leaking at both hot/cold hoses, and the drain, to another bathroom faucet needing the pull for the plunger installed (original came loose, kids thought it was a toy, now its gone). He went through each repair, and told me what he'd do and how he'd fix it, then came back with a quote, which was over $300, with the Angies List discount. I thought that was a bit much, and instead of having him replace the faucet in the kitchen, just wanted it tightened as much as possible. He knocked off $70 for that, and tightened it down without charging. He also didn't charge for installing the pull for the other bathroom sink. As of now, everything is working as expected. No leaks, toilet flushes, faucet is tight. Still for just over an hour's worth of work, I thought $230 was a bit high. But, it would have taken me more than a day, with multiple trips to stores no doubt. So, it seemed worth it to me.

It wasn't what I was expecting. They tried to sell me a toilet than to fix my toilet. They thought I should get two different toilets and that wasn't the issue. It made me feel uneasy. They were telling me that I would need to move things and we are handicapped so can't move anything. Then they said they were going to right me up for an estimate for the replacement of your toilet. I told them that that wasn't necessary for what the issue was. I have told people not to use them.

Technicians were prompt and courteous on both days. Suggestions on care and best use of newly installed items were offered. Especially impressive was how the work area was thoroughly cleaned up after job was completed. Eco Plumbers staff are consistently professional and personable each time they have been needed.

Our master bathroom shower dripped. After one plumber told us over the phone that he would have to rip open the wall to create an access panel, we decided the drip wasn't so bad. A few months later, we decided to hire someone to come look at it. I looked up plumbers on Angie's List and decided on Eco-Plumbers. (We had used them twice before.) They could come the next week. Right away they knew that the valve cartridge needed to be changed and no walls needed to be ripped open. Relief. They were done in 45 minutes. The cost? $295.19 and that's with our 15% Angie's List discount! When my husband called me to tell me the news, I was relieved but astounded by the price. I googled a "valve cartridge" and found they cost, on average. about $50 - some more and some less. Eco-Plumbers charged us $78.69. That evening I went to take my shower and there was no hot water in the shower. However there was hot water every place else in the house. Now I was upset. I asked my husband for the receipt so I could call them. No receipt. They were supposed to email it to us. I called their office and left a message with their answering service. I spent the rest of the evening looking at sites that offered plumbing costs. In the morning, before work, I called a few local plumbing companies and they were able to give me a rough estimate once I told them the problem (needed new cartridge). One estimate said this job would take 1 ½ half hours. (It took Eco-Plumbers 45 minutes.) The plumber I called said that their first hour's charge was $76.00. After that initial hour, they charge $38 per half hour. That would bring the labor bill to $114.00 without the part. Amazon had the part for $40.00. The next phone estimate came out to be $158, with the part. My husband called Eco-Plumbers and requested the receipt. After reviewing it, he noticed their math was wrong. They had not figured the percentage off correctly for being an Angie's List member. He brought it to their attention. They admitted the error and said they would send us a check. When he further reviewed the receipt he noticed they had charged $35 just to turn OFF/ON the water in the basement! (My husband could have done that!) Their labor was $195 for 45 minutes! The workers came out again and said they had inserted the cartridge upside down, which had reversed the hot and cold. They corrected it. When my husband brought the mathematical mistake to their attention, they hemmed and hawed. He asked how much they charged an hour. They said, $90, but their service manager confirmed that they charged us $195, as per the receipt. So how do you get from $90 to $195?! A word to the wise (from the flimflammed): Don't use Eco-Plumbers.

Purchased Angies Deals Toilet Tune Up from Eco Plumber. Received email from Eco Plumber email that I would need to pay a 150% upcharge for travel because its outside of the service area( which must be real small. They won't let you know what it is) The city I live is officially considered a suburb of Columbus. It is the 3rd fast growing suburb in the nation. According to our city, they are part of the Columbus area government groups. Anotherwords its in the Columbus area. My house is 22 minutes from their office to my house during rush hour. So what we have is a "bait and switch". Charge a low amount, get your money, and then demand more. Contacted them again and they acknowledged no service area exclusion for the angies deal or any mention of a travel charge I asked them what is the service area and how they determine a travel charge. No response after 12 hours. This sounds like Geographic Redlining. If they dont want to service a area they created a mysterious charge. Instead of addressing my concerns, they said they help me try and get my money from Angies List. So they have taken my money,provided no service, have no service exclusions and wasted a few hours of my time. I have used another Columbus area Angies Deal provider and had no issue and no travel charges. 99% of service providers in Columbus consider my city as being in the Columbus area. Now I have to try and get back my money back and no service provided. I'm sure Angies List will try and protect their big advertiser, even though I have been with Angie's List since Angie was back in Columbus.

Professional and provided very good work. One commode developed a problem, but they promptly resolved it. I would hire them again and will recommend to family and friends.

The service and installation experience were extraordinary. Ecoplumbers' rapid response to our initial call allowed us to make an informed decision to upgrade to a tankless heater. On Sunday, as promised, we received a call about 9AM from the original salesman to alert us that the crew was about to leave the warehouse. We also received a call when the crew was on its way. Once they arrived, they went over different options for location of the install, location of vent pipes to the outside, and how to drain the condensate from the unit. I chose a location for the exhaust vent which was not the easiest to install; they did it that way without complaint. Adam and Charles performed the install; I would recommend asking for them by name. All in all, on Sunday we were contacted by the original salesman, the two installers, and their manager. Again, this was a SUNDAY. Super service, highly recommended.

I had a gas line leak. Gas company stated it was on the outside of the home between the house and the meter. I had scheduled with Eco Plumber after hours service for the next day to complete repairs. I received a call from the plumber and was told that they do not have a license to work on the out of the house. Thank you for calling, not charging me a trip fee, not wasting time with no heat in subzero temp and referring me to a company that can fix it. When something comes up I will be calling your company!!

A horrible experience, after being so hopeful after a great experience with Eco Plumbers a few years ago. We have a leaky sink that we have tried to fix multiple times, without success. And also a toilet that clogs almost on a daily basis. We had an estimate scheduled for 12/2 between 2-5pm. I came home from work early and waited and waited, and at 5:15 got a call that they were running late. As my 12 year old said, "and they couldn't have called and let us know ahead of time?". Rescheduled a week later, showed up in window and I presented our issues. The guy looked at our sink, I explained where the leak seemed to be coming from and what we had attempted to do to fix it. He looked at the hoses and said "You don't have a leak." I explained that there was water under then sink, caught by a towel, on a daily basis, unless we had the water turned off to the sink, and that even if it was not used, it would still leak. He continued to tell me that we did not have a leak, and then suggested that my children (ages 9 and 12, and smart enough to know better) were playing in the sink, using the sprayer and making a mess. He also said that my husband probably installed a new valve wrong (he never looked at it, just assumed). He said "What do you want me to do?", and I think my jaw dropped. We have a leak, you are a plumber, we want it diagnosed and fixed. He basically said that we could pay him to install a new faucet and hoses, but that there wasn't a problem. We then went to the toilet, and he thought that the kids were throwing toys down or gobs of toilet paper. Again, my kids are not dummies and do not put toys in the toilet. I explained that we watch how much toilet paper goes in, don't put things other than TP in, etc. He balled up three gobs of tp and flushed them down, and then told me that there is no problem. He THEN said, "you just pay me $75 and I'll leave your house." Then my jaw really did drop. I was appalled -- he gave me no advice, no diagnostics, and wanted my money. I told him that it was a free estimate, at which he commented that he would have never bent down to look under then sink if it was only an estimate. I refused to pay based on no work done and no estimate, and he did leave. My husband and I later worked more on the sink, as the drips continued. We ended up replacing a hose, and it works perfectly now. I am so disappointed with this experience, as we had a fabulous experience with the same company shortly after we moved into our home and had a ceiling leak. The guy who came was here for quite a long time, could not figure things out but left us with some recommendations, and refused to bill us for anything. We would have him back in a second, as he worked with us. This last guy, he was patronizing and rude, and it was a horrid experience.

Pulled an enormous amount of roots out of pipes. Had to come back a week later and do it again. They spent a total of about 15 man hours on the job but only charged me a total $325.00. Their point of view is that they should have been able to do it faster. They are honest and stand by their work. Aaron is a great guy, cleaned up after himself and was professional a throughout the process.
