Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians

John Simmons, the lead on this project, went WAY above and beyond duty! Not only did he keep me closely informed every step of the way, but he did an excellent job of keeping everything neat and of returning the yard back to normal. He even came out on a Saturday and moved top soil we had delivered to cover the tracks the back hoe had to make in the yard during the project. That was really above and beyond as the temperatures were near 90 that afternoon and I had given up moving dirt after the first 4 hours of it. They encountered some problems with unmarked cable tv lines and sprinkler pipes that I had no idea where they were located, but John and his team persevered and everything is back to normal (except for one line that they didn't have parts for that the irrigation company has to replace). A job that originally was one day, expanded into 4 but everything was done right.

On the phone the answering service told us that it was a 75 dollar fee to come after hours on a Friday. If we waited until Saturday it would cost 75 dollar plus time and a half for labor. Once our technician Chris came out he was professional and on time. Once he looked at the water heater he informed us that it was time and a half for labor. We were able to sort it out w/ the main office the following week. They helped us resolve the problem and were kind and courteous each time I talked with them on the phone. The next morning we realized we had a slight gas smell. Eco Plumbers sent the same technician out quickly and he was able to fix a seal and resolved the problem. Great technician and good company. Customer service was good.

I was very pleased with the service I received. The technician was very courteous and professional. Ammar did a great job.

Everything went well and we were back up and running quickly.

Chris came out on Wednesday to give me an estimate on replacing the kitchen faucet and to determine why water backs up in my double sink when I run the disposal. He also pointed out outdated, inefficient plumbing under my sink. He quoted several different options in case I didn't want all the work done. I asked about faucet brands, and he named three brands that make good quality faucets. He got the work scheduled for Friday, two days later. I appreciated this since I was off work that week. Friday he arrived on time and replaced the faucet and some plumbing under the sink to improve hot water pressure. I decided against cleaning the slow draining pipes (this was causing the disposal water to back up) and instead purchased the probiotic drain cleaner, hoping that will clear my slow drains. Chris was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with the work done, and appreciate the environment-friendly efforts by this company.

This is the worst service I have ever received by any service provider in Columbus. Late arrival, wrong diagnosis, deliberate damage done by the technician at my home (he broke the faucet, and he damaged the panel in my basement when he turned off the water), overcharging for the service and just plain greed. No integrity at all, and just plain awful. Sure, the company claims it is "Green" but the only green they care about is the color of money. The absolute worst kind of service provider. My service was provided on the morning of Thursday, May 7, 2015.

They are very professional and responsive. John performed the work for me. He provided details of my work and explained to me why it is needed. Very good.

I called The Eco Plumbers out because I was noticing a little water in my corner of my basement where the sump pump is. Their technician Chris came out to take a look and said the sump pump was functioning properly, but the discharge pipe on the outside of my house was cracked and not the correct size. Because of the crack, every time the sump pump discharged water, it would seep directly back into my foundation. Chris suggested that we have another member of their team, John, come out to take a look and give me an estimate on the repair. From the moment John arrived, he knew exactly what needed to be done with the sump pump discharge. It was actually installed below ground level so he suggested raising it. Not only did he find that issue, but after checking all of the downspouts and sending a camera through the drain lines, we noticed that all of the adapters to our downspouts and some of the drain pipes were cracked and not leading the water to the street. John clearly explained the benefits of making the repairs and I felt very comfortable with his knowledge. All of the work was done exactly like John had explained. From what I gather, The Eco Plumber technicians do not work on commission. Because of this, I could trust that they were not trying to sell me services that were not needed. In my experience, this is not the case for some other plumbing companies out there. Once again we were very happy with the work completed by The Eco Plumbers and highly recommend them!

the second visti, since they Rep was on time and professional. After reviewing the pump he showed me that it was rubbing off the cover and that's why it wouldn't turn on. All I need to do was cut a larger hole in the cover. He didn't try to make up any problems. A few days later it rained and it appeared the pump wasn't working at all. Another rep came out and showed me that it was working, it just runs for a few seconds (as opposed to my old one that ran for several minutes). I was surprised not to be charged for the send visit, since it was running fine.

They were great. They were wonderful.

I bought Angie's Deal for $49 for a sump pump and yard drainage inspection. I also needed a new garbage disposal installed. The technician arrived on time and was very professional, friendly and courteous. He checked the sump pump and recommended I replace it since it had already outlived it's life expectancy and was not working properly. He replaced the sump pump and replaced my garbage disposal which hadn't been working for two weeks. While in the basement, the technician noticed my hot water tank had some corrosion on the top and also noticed that the drain pipe was leaking and needed repaired. He gave me an estimate for both and I will be calling Eco Plumbers soon to install a new water heater and drain pipe.

The Eco Plumbers were extremely punctual and actually able to get the installation done sooner and faster than they had originally told me. They were easy to work with and I will definitely be calling them again if I have any other plumbing issues.

Pretty good, but fate conspired against us. We contacted ECO plumbers Saturday evening. The plumber on call called back and was on his way in about an hour. He was clean, neat, friendly and knowledgeable. He used a snake to clean out the line and then installed our toilet. Unfortunately, only 3 days later, the same line was clogged again. We called back, and ECO Plumbers arranged to meet us with their drain expert the following afternoon. He was also, clean, neat, knowledgeable and friendly. This time, he used a little different snake and ground the inside of the pipe near s joint to make sure there'd be no more problems. He went in through the sink trap, so there was very little work to get the snake into the line.

Eco plumber removed my old sum pum(just 3 years old) and replaced with Zoeller 507-0008. Zoeller 507-0008 contains a main pump and a battery based backup pump. The price was $935 for sum pump replacement. It also includes a Marine Battery which is maintenance free. The price is a little high compared to other back up sum pump. But it is well worth it. My old pump is noisy and I can hear how many pumps very day. After the replacement for the first time, I did not realize pump was running, very quiet. I tested the backup sumpump and it was more quieter. The back up was 1/3 HP, I wish it was 1/2, but probably enough for our house. Then the technician fixed the MOEN bath tub leaking issue. The technician was professional and had 15 years of experience. Customer service is good too. They call me one day ahead to remind the appointment.

Inspected plumbing and flushed hot water heater. John came out to do the work and he was very good. Everything went well. I would use them again.

I was beyond pleased with this company from first contact to finished work. We chose Eco Plumbers because of their Angie's list ratings and reviews. We emailed service request on Sunday to request service that Monday. I got a phone call back within an hour to schedule(how great is that). We actually had this service done in Ft Myers Beach, we found out they have plumbers both here and in Columbus, OH. On Monday I received updates as to the tech's timing to arrive. Josh was very professional, he answered all my questions, and actually gave me great advice on how to clean my faucet screens. I was quoted different options for my issues, total prices....which I like, there was no charging service fee then rate per 1/4 hour. Then I got to make final decision. Work was done and was great. I will use this company again.

They were fine. The cost was over a thousand bucks for a water heater. They got the work done on the same day I called them. They did a good job. They were not too pricey.

Service representative arrived on time and was professional and courteous. He made repair recommendations and offered several,options.

It was superior! The gentleman that came out to do the work had over 20 years of experience. I was very impressed by his overall professionalism and the timing of the work. I would recommend him to anyone.

I bought the big deal for the installation of a garbage disposal for $165. When the plumber arrived, he told me that it would cost me an extra $90 to change the pipes under the sink. I read the big deal several times before and after purchasing and it didn't mention an extra cost potential. It said $165 for the installation of a garbage disposal. If there were caveats to the deal, it should have been clearly stated. Since I had already purchased the deal, I had no choice but to pay the extra $90. The plumber was friendly and was able to complete the installation fairly quickly. Despite my displeasure with the unforeseen extra cost I would probably use Eco Plumbers gain since my previous experiences with them have been positive.

One of the drains had not been inspected in over 10 years. Chris found that there was a break due to a tree root, but luckily it was near the curb and still allowed water to flow. I have scheduled a repair of the broken drain and extension of the other drain with The Eco Plumbers. Chris explained everything as he worked and gave me options, which I appreciated. Everything went better than I had feared it would due to the length of time since the last inspection. The repair should be relatively simple.

It didn't quite work the first time so he did it again. Now it's perfect. He was very knowledgeable about all plumbing aspects and is really into ecology. A very nice fellow who was easy to work with. I'm completely satisfied.

He was respectful of cleanliness of house, he removed old unit and installed new one. He made certain that it worked and that there were no leaks. He offered a product to keep drains clean. He completely cleaned up his mess and left the kitchen clean. He was very efficient and professional.

I'm sorry that I can't remember the technician's name, (it's been a while) but he was on time, courteous, efficient, did a great job, and the kitchen was clean when he left. We have another plumbing job that needs fixing and they will be my first call.
