Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians

We had Eco Plumbers come on 2 occasions to perform this work. They first came out and explained that we needed to have a bypass valve downstream of the hose faucet per code and left without performing the work as I was not willing to pay for the additional services at that time. They did note that the deal would still be valid and we can call them back to perform the work. Flash forward to the second visit after I had bypass valve installed. They said that they could not perform the work and there was really no point to do this as there were bypass valves that we could shut off in the winter! So work was not performed and I am out my $45. They have stated that this can be used as a credit for their services, but I do not plan on using their services in the future.

This was an Angie's List deal. I took advantage of this deal mainly to get the outdoor faucet replaced. They (2 guys) had everything they needed, they arrived on time and quickly replaced the faucet. They performed additional inspections of my sump pump and drainage lines. The additional inspections were appreciated since they alerted me to the fact that my sump pump should be replaced (which I already knew but nice to have confirmation), and they found a constricted area in my drainage which will become a major problem if not fixed soon. They were knowledgeable, professional and I really felt like I got my money's worth with this deal. Definitely keeping this company in mind for future work.

Columbia Gas moved our meter outside. They then detected a gas leak somewhere inside my home. They could not find it and told me it was up to me to get it found and repaired before they would turn my gas back on. The plumber I have used in the pst was unavailable, so I checked Angie's List and found EcoPlumbers. After hours on a Tuesday evening Travis came to help. There was an after hours fee, but I didn't really have a choice. Travis' general attitude and demeanor were fabulous! He went searching for the leak and within an hour he found it. Braun showed up and both of them tried to figure out the best way to tackle the difficult situation. They decided bypassing the leak was the best plan. They figured out the materials needed, quoted me a price and told me they would return the following morning. The next morning Travis and Bobby came to my home and worked for several hours. They did an excellent job and cleaned up behind themselves leaving my basement in better shape than they found it. They even tried to hang around until Columbia Gas returned to turn the gas back on. I will call EcoPlumbers for any problems in the future. Many thanks to Travis, Braun, Bobby and the receptionist for making a huge headache less painful. it was a pleasure doing business and interacting with all of you. EcoPlumbers truly puts the customer first!

They installed the outdoor faucet in about 10 minutes or less. I asked about an additional item, a shut-off on the line ($2 part). They wanted $150 for a $2 part and two minutes labor, a bit ridiculous! The basement lights were left on when he left. Overall they did the job they were supposed to do and were on-time.

Great he was on time gave me full options and prices and completed the job. Will definitely call again and they also do water softener or drinking water treatments

I feel emergency call was handled extremely promptly. Within 40 minutes of my call to The Eco Plumbers, Chris Stinson, was at my home at 7:30 p.m.! He turned sink water valves off as water was spraying out of faucet profusely and flowing underneath kitchen sink. He explained he couldn't replace faucet until the next morning as he didn't have proper one on his truck. While here he checked on sump pump and both hot water heaters and said they were working properly. I feel he went beyond the call of duty and was extremely informative. Chris made my replacement of faucet his first stop the next morning as he didn't want me to suffer lack of kitchen sink use! He replaced water valves under sink and the faucet and hose sprayer. He also recommended future improvements to our household water systems. I recommend Chris Stinson as an MVP employee

I had a bad leak in the bathtub faucet, so I called Eco Plumbers and asked for replacement shower fixtures. The receptionist asked me if I were simply asking for an estimate and I said no. She scheduled my appointment for that same afternoon. I was happy that the appointment was scheduled for the same day, and at the time I assumed that I would have to take off only one afternoon from work. Unfortunately the plumber was delayed at his previous job and arrived late in the afternoon. He was unable to replace the fixture that day, but simply gave me an estimate. He said that I would be called later that day regarding a subsequent appointment. I was not called and decided to call the office myself the following day. The receptionist seemed a little confused, saying that the appointment to replace the fixture had already been set for later in the week. It was a small glitch, but I was glad that I decided to call their office myself. The plumber showed up on time for my appointment and completed the work. Once he left my house, I noticed that he had not finished caulking around the faucet, but I had a tube of outdoor caulk in my garage and finished the seal myself. Overall I was pleased with the work done and would use them again.

The plumber was on time, reviewed the problem and offered solutions. He went to Lowe's got the faucet, replaced it as well as putting on shut off valve on both the hot and cold. It took him no time to finish the project.

Jason came to the house exactly when expected. Examined the two toilets that we had called about. Talked to us about their age and water use. Recommended new toilets instead of fixing the ones we had. Okay, that sounds like a straight sell-up. But there was nothing aggressive about it. He just calmly gave us options. We chose the one we wanted. Which did turn out to be expensive, but provided the look, the minimal water use, and overall quality that we wanted. And when I began to worry about getting back to work late, they went the extra mile, literally. The supervisor delivered the new toilets instead of making Jason drive out to get them and then back.

The visit was prompt and informative. The technician Chris did a great job explaining the issues regarding the work that needed to be performed. He offered other services that may be needed in the future after a whole home inspection.

Well. The rep was very professional and took time to explain all that he saw. No hard sell. Did work quick, same afternoon and professionally. So far no problems.

The install and inspections went fine, the problem was that at the end he did a water purity test and showed me how alkaline and cholinated my water was. He also looked at my hot water tank during the visit and then attempted to sell me a whole home solution that was like $17,000! to be fair he provided several lower cost estimates as well. The whole deal felt a little like they were trying to into the house to sell these whole home solutions which is a little shady to me. But the work was done right and you can't fault a company for trying to make a warm sell. I would reccomend them, but be ready for a sales pitch at the end of the day.

Bottom line: Get a quote UP FRONT before they touch anything. I called because of an odor in the basement near my furnace/sump pump. At first I thought it was the sump pump, but we discovered that water had been collecting in the drain pipe from my furnace/ac because it wasn't set up on a downward slope. Let me emphasize that the way we found this out was that the plumber cut the existing pvc pipe and the water came out. He then told me that he could put in a new pipe and angle it downward so the water could drain properly. That sounded fine, until he came up with a price of $280 dollars to do it! I was shocked -- I know how much PVC costs (not much) and it was only about 6 ft. at the most of 3/4" pipe. By this time, however, I was stuck because he had already cut the old pipe. I told him I thought it was too much, so he came down to $245. Still outrageous, but after I informed him I had an Angie's List coupon, he brought it down to $210. I think this is still way too high -- over $200 for a little bit of pipe and epoxy to hold it together. But I had to do it because otherwise I would have been left with a cut pipe. The other issue is that the plumber called someone to bring him the new pipe (shouldn't he have these things on the truck?), and then sat in his truck in front of my house waiting for the guy for AN HOUR. (That is not an exaggeration.) I finally went out to ask him what was going on, and he said the guy told him he'd be there. I said, "You could have gone to Lowe's and back twice in this time." This was after he quoted me the high price, so he wasn't billing me by the hour, but I wonder if he billed his company for that whole time for my job. (Once he got the pipe it took him about 15 minutes to do the job.) It was very inconvenient for me to have to wait around while he waited around. Did it solve the problem? Maybe. I probably won't know until next summer when I use the AC again. Was it worth it? No. I can't believe they charged so much for such a tiny little job. They did come out right away -- I had initially just called to have someone come out and look at it, but they had a "guy in the area" and time so they came on out. But I really wish they hadn't. He cut the pipe and then charged me an outrageous fee to replace it -- I was stuck and felt I had to pay it. I do not recommend this company. I will not use them again.

The plumber was running late, but EcoPlumbers called to let me know. When Cory arrived, he was very professional and courteous. He looked at the work that needed done, gave me an estimate, and completed the work. He noticed that a screw was missing from my garbage disposal and replaced it. He answered all of my questions. I would definitely use Eco Plumbers again.

The Eco Plumbers I did use and they did a nice job. They did the work and did it for what they said they would do it for. The worker was very nice. They were right on time.

Completely uneventful. The service rep was professional and competent.

Shawn Decker came to our home, for the 2nd time, to try to diagnose a weird odor. (Another plumbing company had also been our to our house but did not resolve the issue, or seem that interested in helping me.) We both thought it was sewer gas but could not locate the source. Both toilets had been reset several times, so we knew they were not the problem. After re-setting the 2nd toilet as I requested, Shawn immediately became suspicious that the odor might be gas. He was so concerned for our safety that he refused to leave (even though the gas was giving him a headache) until he resolved the problem. Shawn called a colleague to assist. That person arrived in 10 minutes. Within 15 minutes they had found a very serious leak in my basement and fixed it. They showed me the culprit - a nail from our newly installed hardwood floors had punctured the tubing of the gas line to our dryer. That puncture occurred on or around August 28th - and this was October 6th!!! The hole was large. When I told Shawn I had been using the gas stove frequently, he was visibly shaken. Which make me realize how serious the situation was. Shawn and his partner helped me air out my house, and waited until they were sure the entire problem had been addressed. They literally, saved my life. I've used many vendors/contractors in the last few years and I have NEVER experienced such genuine concern as I saw with Shawn. He and his colleagues are the real deal. The care a lot more about getting it right than hurrying through a call and moving on to the next one. They ROCK!! I will never use another plumbing company, ever.

The office called to let me know they were on the way. Arrived promptly and removed the old faucet. Then realized the faucet I had purchased was too big to install. Made arrangements to come back and install another one if I could get it. Cory came back around 3:30 the same day. Again I was notified that Cory was on the way. I like that they take before and after pictures for you. Extremely polite company and very positive. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend this company.

I can't say enough good things about EcoPlumbers. Not only are they environmentally sound, they have some of the best employees around. I have used them for some time now (found them through Angie's list!) and typically request that Adam (whom I trust implicitly) do my work. When I called in for this latest issue, the very pleasant young woman I spoke to said that though Adam was one of their best (and he is!) Jason is the person I want for a drain issue. That, to me, was a wonderful service. Their primary concern is in making sure that the best people are on the job. Adam and Jason are outstanding professionals, as I'm sure, are all EcoPlumbers associates.

I've used Eco Plumbers for many, many years, both at home and at work. They installed my tankless water heater, replaced two toilets with water-efficient models and replaced a water heater at work. In this instance, I needed them for an annual maintenance service call on the tankless water heater. I originally scheduled them to come at an earlier date; but, a last minute conflict with work made me cancel the visit until they could come (accommodating my schedule) two weeks later. As usual, they called me a day before coming and then called on the day of service approximately 30 minutes before arrival. They emailed me when they were on the way to my home. All of the Eco Plumber plumbers and the office staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. I have not enjoyed this level of service from any of the other companies I've hired through Angie's List. Eco Plumbers is "the gold standard". They also provide a discount for Angie's List customers.

The tech (Travis) that was sent out was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to help identify the area where the yard drain is clogged. He was also helpful in pinpointing where a leak from a first floor ceiling was most likely coming from. He was very nice and wasn't just trying to rush through the service to move onto the next customer. He took the time to explain what he was doing and identify the root causes of the issues I was having. Although the $99 package I purchased through Angie's List was to also include a new external faucet, this wasn't completed due to the difficult inside location of where the faucet entered the house. The tech said he could still do it but I declined as it would have been a challenging task and the main reason I had called them out was to have the video inspection done on my drain.

We had a leak in a kitchen sink and our water heater, so repairs needed to be done quickly. Estimate visit was very efficient. We asked for pricing for different scenarios in order to determine what we could afford at the time. The included replacement of the water heater, replacing a garbage disposer that hadn't worked in sometime and leaked if we used that side of the kitchen sink, the replacing of all plumbing after we put in a new (2nd) kitchen sink, and replacing all plumbing for a bathroom sink. The estimates were acceptable and they were ready to do the work right then, but we were not available. Arrangements were made for the next day and the repairman arrived promptly. Work was efficient and friendly. we were very pleased!
