Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians

The gentleman did a good job and was friendly, but he charged an egregiously high price. The final bill was $450 dollars which included the pump and labor. However, I later learned that I could purchase the very same pump for $150. Furthermore, he was only at the house for about an hour at the most.

Prior to the appointment I received two calls; one to confirm the day prior (even though it was a Sunday) and one 30 minutes before the plumber arrived. Charles arrived 30 minutes after the phone call; and I showed him all the work I needed completed. He gave a couple estimates one for the work one with replacing all shut off valves and an upgraded disposal. I needed a shut off valve in the bathroom for the cold water and the faucet replaced. We decided to replace both shut off valves because the hot water valve was old and rusty too . The kitchen faucet had rusted underneath the sink so he had to saw part of it off to get it out. (Expertly done). He replaced the disposal with one he brought with him - we decided to use the 1/2 HP since the old one was a 1/2 HP. I appreciate the way Charles worked with me. When he explained the work he did not speak down to me but used enough analogy so I could understand what I was paying for and why. While he was working and I peeked in he would show me what he had done. When he finished he encouraged me to try everything and inspect for leaks with him. What I liked most and showed me Eco Plumbers is customer service oriented - is Charles needed a specific part for the kitchen faucet so he called the office and someone brought it to him. He did not leave to get it , or tell me he would have to come back- which is what I usually hear. They brought it ASAP- and the job was completely done in 3 hours. He cleaned everything before he left, gave me a few tips, and a few recommendations for future service. I WILL call again.

Service was on time, I was notified ahead of them showing up, and they were very informative and helpful. Drains were cleared and cost was very reasonable with Angie's list coupon/deal.

Great! The installation was easy and quick, and the guy they sent was nice enough to quickly look at some other small issues and give me advice about keeping some drains clear. I would definitely recommend them.

ECO Plumbers came out and performed the inspection and determined the source of the leak was the valve. That took about 5 minutes. The tech spent the next 45 minutes trying to upsell components for my water heater and water conditioning. I know they are required to do this, but I really just wanted to get the leak fixed, not spend $2300 on a new water gizmo. They left with the promise that someone would call and set up the next appointment. 3 days later, they called and set up the appointment. The tech (a different fella) showed up and performed the replacement in about 20 minutes. He did a fantastic job, cleaned up really nicely when he was done, and explained what he had done and what I needed to do next since the valve must be inspected by the county. He presented me with the agreed upon invoice and he was done. I was very happy with the repair phase. The tech was very professional. The only down-side was the cost. The bill was $580, but when I turned it into my home warranty plan, they said they only pay $105 for that kind of service, so I don't know if I was grossly overcharged, or the home warranty is a scam. Bottom line, the service was very good, albeit expensive, and I felt like they did very high quality work.

John was great! We were aware that the online special included exposed pipes only, so the additional charges for gaining access to the pipe through the ceiling was expected. John installed an indoor shut-off valve in addition to a new outdoor faucet so that we can be sure that the pipe does not freeze in the winter. John worked quickly and was very professional throughout his visit. Rather than go through the wall, John gained access through the ceiling, which will be much easier to repair and much more convenient to access in the winter when we want to access our shut-off valve. In addition, John looked at and fixed a leaking faucet in the basement bathroom free-of-charge. Quick and friendly service- highly recommend.

He came when he said he would. We were given a 4 hr, window and a call 30 minutes before he came and an e-mail with the picture of the Tech who performed the job. James Woosley. I needed to have two old toilets replaced with high-efficient ones. I called Eco-Plumbers based on the reviews on Angie's List. Chris Stinson was sent out to analyze and recommend what my options would be. Chris was just excellent!! He said that they could be installed that very day, so I accepted the estimate/work, and he had someone bring out the new toilets while he removed the old ones. These two toilets were recommended to me as the "top of the line" products for Eco-Plumbers and I really love them. I have discovered, however, that because the water level is a lot lower in the bowl, that sometimes, there is residue (i.e. "poo") that remains stuck to the sides of the bowl after flushing. I am a little disappointed in that because it means brushing out the bowl more often. But I am still satisfied with Eco-Plumbers and Chris and if needed, I would use them again.

Very professional folks. I've had them do extensive work for me in the past, but I wouldn't count on them to do basic repair work. You decide: here are my quotes. Replace a kitchen drain valve and p-trap $285 + parts. The parts would cost me $40 at a local hardware store and take less than 30 minutes to install. Repair a shower leak. Their option is to replace the entire diverter (nearly $1,200). My approach - just replace the stem from the valve that is leaking. My cost here is $35 from Ferguson and about 45 minutes of time. Again, kind and nice folks, but I don't the engine on my car replaced if it needs new spark plugs.

Travis had initially given us a quote back in November. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We had him back out this past weekend to complete the estimated work. He and Bobby arrived as promised and completed all jobs (plus some we added) quickly and cleanly. They made things "way more better" including fixing a sink faucet install another contractor had screwed up. Not only were they very professional and knowledgeable, they were fun and kept me laughing throughout. If you want outstanding service - this company is the one for you!!

The gentleman who installed the hose bib performed the service with no issues, and when tested, worked quite well. He took out a hose bib that was installed when the house was built. The replacement should last longer than the original device, as it is made from brass, and not plastic.

Around 11 AM, right before leaving Ohio for a few days, I remembered to turn off the water. This meant going to the basement, which I seldom do. Once there, I was shocked to hear running water, see hot steamy water pouring from my water heater, and see many mold marks on the basement walls. I ran to turn off the water--but that didn't seem to work. I called Eco-Plumbers, and a courteous phone-answerer put me in touch with an expert. The expert and I talked briefly and decided that he would come out around 3 PM. While waiting, I exchanged my plane ticket for a later one, and made an appointment with a mold remover. The expert looked things over and made an appointment to replace my water heater today (my first full business day back in Ohio). He then turned off the water heater so that further damage wouldn't happen while I was gone. Today, he and an assistant wrestled a new water heater into my house and advised me on its maintenance. I agreed to pay them to drain it every year, just as I pay someone else to check out my furnace every year.

Overall good. one of the two toilets we paid to be fixed needed additional work but the other one was fixed the first time.

Eco plumbers came to replace some valves that i thought were questionable. The technician was very honest, and explained to me he didnt think new valves would be any more reliable than the valves in place-essentially, the work didn't need to be done. Very honest, would recommend and hire in the future.

The service went well. How ever I ask for an estimate of the repairs broken down in a couple of different ways. He only sent one huge estimate for all of it. When I ask again for the estimate in parts I got no response.

Cory arrived promptly, surveyed the issues I contacted the company about, and quickly set about repairing the broken items. He was very friendly and kept me updated as the work was progressing. It cost about what I was expecting and I received an Angie's List discount. Before he left, I had him look over my water heater. He was able to show me estimates for replacing it and a few options immediately on his tablet. I will contact them in the future for my remaining plumbing needs.
