DC Painting & Handymen

It was beautiful. I was very, very pleased. They were very neat when they were finished with the entire job. They cleaned up and moved the furniture back in place. It was just a phenomenal job. We will hire them again. Anytime Mike was going to be late, he phoned me letting me know.

I called for a quote to paint several rooms in our home. Mike showed up the next day and provided a quote breaking out the rooms so we could choose what would fit our budget. Mike answered all my questions and provided me with phone and e-mail contact information in case other questions came up. Mike responded to my e-mailed questions and we finalized the quote over the weekend. He was able to come to do the work that week, and anticipated it would take 2 days. We gave them our color choices and they brought the paint with them. Mike and his partner showed up promptly on the scheduled day and went right to work. They moved furniture, repaired walls, put down drop cloths, taped and put on 2 coats of paint as we requested. They finished that day, replaced the furniture and cleaned everything up. We are very happy with the work they did and will call them again.

Mike was professional and courteous. The work was impeccable and the attention to detail was very impressive. Mike spent extra time cutting and painting around our elaborate closet maid design work. They cleaned up after they left and were very efficient.

We had used DC Painting to paint our current home and contacted them to do our previous home that we're trying to get ready to sell after receiving a higher estimate from another highly-ranked Angie's List company. Mike was extremely professional and very accommodating in meeting me for an estimate and beginning work. Their estimate was about $1,000 less than the one we got from the other company and the bonus was that DC Painting also could do assorted handyman projects so that we could get everything done at one time. They also were able to work evenings and weekends to get the job done promptly without additional cost. The finished project was outstanding and was exactly as estimated. For painting and related handyman services, DC Painting does an outstanding job for a much more reasonable price than most other companies.

Mike and company did an excellent job. The walls were a mess with fairly extensive damage. He had to use enamel primer to seal the glue from the wallpaper. He skim coated them and had to do it again because the walls were so uneven. The paint store mixed up the last can of paint slightly different and Mike came back and painted the walls again to fix it. I have always done all of my own painting but this room was too challenging. It was worth hiring an expert.

Mike came out and gave us an estimate. He was able to schedule us within 2 weeks. All blemishes in the walls were corrected. He did a fantastic job.

Everything turned out excellent. Mike clearly knows what he is doing, and he paid great attention to detail. He's very professional. We found him very easy to work with. I chose him based upon the positive reports on Angie's List and I was very satisfied with everything. I would definitely recommend DC Painting and would definitely use them again in our home.

He did a fantastic job. He came when he said he would and he was on time. He really knows what he is doing and he is super nice. He put drop cloths all over the floor and put plastic rap on things. He didn't leave any messes. He is really great.

They did a great job. I was very pleased with how careful they were not to get paint on the woodwork. Nice straight lines. I'm extremely particular and I couldn't be more pleased. I've had them quote our master bedroom and bath, I'm certain I will hire them again.

Awesome! First of all, he was able to squeeze us in (since we were getting carpet the next week) and got the job done in a very good amount of time. Once he started the job, he stuck with us until the job was finished. He was very neat and organized. Even though we had no carpet in the house, he was still neat and careful by putting down drop cloths and plastic when needed. He was very conscientious in his work. I was very happy about his willingness to "fix" the top of the walls so that everything looked nice when he was finished. He even helped me go around the top of the walls (around the ceiling) on a room I was painting. He was very kind and good to work with.

It was a wonderful experience. They were very neat and did a professional job. They were easy to work with and very responsive to questions and concerns. We would recommend them highly and plan to use them again in the future. It is difficult to find companies that go above and beyond what they are expected to do and Mike's company is one of those.

They came out and estimate and the price was reasonable. When they came they power washed the house and taped up the windows. They did a great job. It took a little longer because he had to do a few extra coats and didn't charge for the extra paint.

We lucked out. Mike showed great care to the detail and provided beautiful work. The condition of the walls was very poor with 'plaster falling apart'. The difference between before and after is amazing. He and his team were reliable, clean and worked diligently with respect to our family as we were moving in. It was a challenge.

Mike and his partner did a great job. I am very particular and I am pleased with the quality of the painting and craftmanship they exhibited. Having an older home it takes a certain touch to really make it work and that is exactly what I got. Scheduling was simple and Mike was able to work around our schedule. Mike was very professional when we met. He came over on a Saturday to do the estimate and explained how his company would do the work. After getting several bids, I decided to use another company. This company was my second choice.

Absolutely outstanding work! Mike Ciriaco came up with lots of useful ideas on how to to best take advantage of our basement configuration. The ideas worked out wonderfully, they saved us money and the end result is lovely. The team was always receptive of our needs and preferences. The end result is great. A very professional and friendly team. We could not ask for more!

Mike was professional from the moment he stopped by to give the estimate. Clearly, he is knowledgeable and good at what he does. He scheduled us in right away and was on time. He was accommodating as I was running in and out of the house with my kids. Mike and his helper were friendly. They laid coverings on the floor so as to keep my stairs clean as they were coming in and out of the house. They performed the work in the time they expected and did a wonderful job. Clean-up was great.

DC Painting did a great job! After calling them, they came next-day to give an estimate, did the job just a few days later and we've even called them back to do some more work on other walls for us. We're very, very happy.

Mike was prompt, courteous, and took extra care to keep the work areas and hallways free of dust and debris. He always completely cleaned up after each day on the job. He even used a shop vacuum to ensure he cleaned up as much drywall dust as possible. He also gave the project 110%, and I am thrilled with the result. Mike also took the time to say "Hi" to my dog, Jacob, each time he arrived at the house. He also treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy.

This is the second time we have hired Mike, the first time was about two years ago. We got his name the first time through Angie's list and were very pleased with his work. Mike has maintained his excellent standards. He and his crew did a terrific job! The paint job was excellent. They took great care with our belongings and kept the work area tidy. They were friendly and professional. They went above and beyond when they replaced some light bulbs in hard to reach places then proceeded to locate other burnt out bulbs throughout the house and replaced them too. Mike also touched up some of the baseboards in other areas that had become scuffed over the years.

Excellent! Mike and Josh worked most days until 7:00 pm and did a good and thorough job on everything.

Mike did a fantastic job. Mike returned my phone call and scheduled the estimate promptly. The estimate was the middle of the three I received, but his schedule worked the best for us. He started when he said he would and was great at communicating throughout. Email worked great for me and we emailed virtually once a day throughout the project to discuss progress. Though the job took 7 days (longer than originally intended), it was because Mike wanted to be thorough. They tried their best to be conscientious of our space considering the whole first floor was affected. They used drop cloths everyone to protect my new hardwood floors. The humidity was a problem, but Mike took his time to deliver a quality product. He did not adjust the estimate due to the increased time it took.
