They were the cheapest for the interior work. We liked them so we decided to use them for exterior. My interaction was good. He was very helpful. He was good. The work turned out good.

Everything went very well. I'd definitely use this team again in the future.

DC Painting did a great job and I would highly recommend (and use them) for future work. Mike and his team were very professional, nice and performed services when they were supposed to. Mike also had the courtesy in the rare case he and his team were running behind of calling ahead of time to let us know for planning purposes. In regards to the work product, the job was very well performed with the quality showing. DC Painting took the time to prep things right from the start, had all the proper equipment to do the job (of which we have high-vaulted ceilings) and made sure we were happy with the finished product before completing the work.

Mike and his crew were able to start our job immediately to accommodate our move in schedule. They arrived ontime daily and stayed well into the evening to complete our job quickly. Mike's painting skills are top notch and his attention to detail can't be beat. They were clean, prompt and very accommodating. We would hire again for any painting needs we have.

I bought the 8 hr Angie's list deal. Mike came at 10:20am, left for lunch at 1:15pm & came back at 1:55pm to leave at 6:15pm. He spent some of that time in his van on the phone. I'm no math genius, but that seems to=7hrs. I sent photos prior to the job and asked about getting a shed (told him size) & front door painted. He said that would be able to be done in 8 hours. This guy is very nice, but holy moly, he's a VERY SLOW painter. The slowest I've ever seen. I have had 2 professional painters in my home, Buckeye Painting and Jeremy Agnew painting (would've used again but he was busy) as well as having 500 sq ft of a newly dry walled basement painted by the remodeler. I've never seen anyone paint a large space with so much brushwork. Sure, there's trim and cutting in, but one can roll the three sides of the shed that don't have any windows or doors! Anyway- $200 for the shed was ok-would've liked the original agreement that included the front door. Paid add'l $5 roller supply fee.Pics.

Excellent job, spent about 3 hours caulking and sealing before beginning to paint. Used Pittsburg paint. Total job took approx. a day and a half. Mike and Tyler are trustworthy, honest and do great work!

I couldn't be more pleased. Both Tyler & Mike did excellent work. Hard workers doing quality work. Super nice guys. Even cleaned up after. I guarantee you will be pleased if you hire them for your next project.

Mike and Tyler did excellent work. They were able to accommodate our tricky schedule as were were about to move into the house and other contractors were in and out in the same timeframe. They got the job done on time, but never seemed to rush the work or compromise dry times etc. I appreciated that he was willing to use the paint that we had already purchased. The trim work, windows, doors, and paint look great! I would definitely call him again we have a big paint and/or trim-work project.

They were quick and good priced. They came out in a timely manner. The charges were covered by our insurance.

I hired Mike and his helper Travis to paint all the living spaces in my new condo before moving in. They also installed another layer of drywall for the common wall between my condo and the neighbor. The job expanded into a lot more drywall repair than originally though but everything was done beautifully. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

It went very well. I knew his work because I had hired him earlier to paint many rooms in my former home. He arrived in a timely manner; let me know any time he would be late. He cleaned up after he finished working each day.

When I purchased a home in the Columbus area in August of 2012 I wanted to have the interior painted to make the home more to my liking. I used Angie's list to select three companies to come and give me bids on the painting. Mike's bid was the middle bid of the three. I chose him because it was apparent that he would be on site doing the work himself. Also, a friend of my daughters had him do some handyman work and she was extremely happy with the quality of his work. I thought that the painting job might grow and the fact that Mike could not only paint but do the myriad of other jobs I had in mind made him a very easy choice. I had a rather unusual situation because I was in the process of getting a home ready to sell in Northwest Ohio while also trying to get a newly purchased 9 year old home upgraded and ready to move into. I needed to find someone who was honest and had integrity so I could hand them a key to my home and allow them to work while I was back in Northwest Ohio as well as while I was in residence at the home. From the beginning I felt Mike Ciriaco was a man who could be trusted and I was certainly correct. Mike was very responsive to my many requests and changes during the two months that he ended up working on my house. He was very responsive to emails, phone calls, and the notes I would leave for him. He completed every job exactly as I requested. If he had a question he would check with me to clarify exactly what I wanted. He also make suggestions along the way that ended up making the finished project even better than I could imagine. His easy going demeanor was very easy to work with. Mike installed four ceiling fans and overhead lights. Several of my ceilings are quite high but that was not a problem. He also removed all curtain headings which the previous owner had which required the walls to be reapaired before painting. He also got rid of all of the debris for me. Then he began painting. He uses Pittsburgh Paint (although he will use whatever you reuest) and they had an interior designer come to my home to help me with color selections. Molly was excellent and took her time to help me create a color pallet which was neutral but also made a statement. DC Painting & Handymen painted all but one room in my house. The quality of the work was excellent. When Mike first started painting the main living area he was concerned that the color might be a little darker than I expected and he offered to repaint if I was not happy with the color. Actually the color was perfect but I appreciated his offer. Probably the biggest job completed by Mike was redoing the basement area. When we bought the home we thought we might do the basement someday in the future. We really did not intened to make that an immediate project. Mike came over on a weekend when my husband was in town and he outlined a way that we could complete the basement to achieve the results we wanted without breaking the bank. We ended up having him do the basement which included installing a new half bath and we could not be happier with the results. My husband now has his new Man Cave and it was completed for a price far lower than I thought I might end up spending. The finished product was beautiful. Mike came up with a design that made the space both attractive and functional. The quality of his workmanship is superb. He does a quality job. I would highly recommend Mike Ciriaco, DC Painting & Handymen, to do any home inprovement projects you need done. He is honest, hadworking, ethical, and very fair with his pricing. In fact, I am in the process of making a list of additional items that I need Mike to complete for me. It is wonderful to know a handyman who can complete any job you need done.

Overall, very good. The representative showed up on time and provided a through estimate. Scheduling of service was easy. The crew showed up and completed the work in a timely fashion and cleaned up after they left.

The experience was excellent overall. They’re punctual, professional, and their price is good. They’re also clean and don’t leave a mess. They’re just easy to work with!

I contacted this painter in April and asked for a quote. We discussed a possible time to schedule the job six weeks in the future. A month later I contacted him and we set the date. He came out again the day before the work was to start to look over the job again and to discuss details with me. He had an assistant both days. Both were very professional, polite, on time, worked very hard and long hours to complete my house in two days. They did an excellent job of taping off everything to make sure there was no paint applied where it should not be, and used drop cloths and plastic protection on carpet and all furniture. I was exceptionally pleased with this company. I do plan on calling them for future work.

We have used DC painting previously on the interior of our home and they are painting professionals. They are extremely neat and conscientious and attention to detail is definitely important to them. They only delays in completing the job on time were due to the weather and not the fault of the contractor. The owner Mike is definitely easy to work with and is very professional. We have recommended them to many of our neighbors and we plan to use them for our future painting needs..

The experience was terrific. His name is Mike Ciriaco and they have won an Angie's List award. He was right at the top of the painting list on Angie's List. The quality of work was very good. I called him and he was supposed to come back but he had quite a few jobs and I had to use someone else instead.

Mike was prompt, courteous, very reasonable, and very helpful with ideas and suggestions - as we were not positive of all we wanted done in the basement finishing. He was easy to work with and always did what he said he would do. He was easy to communicate with, either by text, email, or phone and prompt with responding. Initially he quoted a paint job - which looks fabulous - and I mentioned the other work we were planning on having done. He offered to quote the job if I would like him to. His quote was great and included materials and different options. He came in exactly on budget and we couldn't be happier with the results. Communication was great throughout the 3 weeks it took to complete the job. We will definitely work with him again and have already recommended him to 3 of our friends.
