Creative Finishes Painting

Nate and his crew were fantastic. Very professional and worked with us as we decided on the color selection. Worked fast and efficient and the quality was excellent. We were very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone looking for exterior painting.

It took a while from the estimate to the work being completed but they did an excellent job. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants conscientious denial oriented work completed on their home.

Nate and his team were great! We were on a tight timeline to have our house ready for move-in and our painter told us last minute he wouldn't be able to get the job done as we had previously discussed. Nate was referred to us by my fiance's coworker and was easy to reach (called several others who I could never reach directly) and went out that same day to give us a quote. Nate was extremely responsive to our questions and reassured us that the job would be done (even when we added extra work). We felt confident and comfortable moving forward, despite our bad experience previously. This was a big project and spread out over several day, but after coming in on day one I could hardly speak after seeing all that they had accomplished and the dramatic difference it had made already! Needless to say, this is what caused us to add extra work because they did such a wonderful job! They made our stressful renovation process so much smoother! We have gotten so many compliments on our home as a result of the wonderful work that they did. I would highly recommend using them if you are considering doing any painting in your home! Robin was in charge and was also very approachable with questions and offering suggestions! We have already been in touch with Nate to paint the outside of our home :)

The owner, Nate Brown, came to our house to do the estimate within a day or two of our contacting him in March. The estimate was very similar to two others we received. We liked that Nate is the owner and he came to the house himself. We returned a signed contract in late March, and it took about 3 weeks to hear back from Nate. His crew did a power wash in late April, and the scraping and painting began May 4. The workers called us to tell us when they would be here, and they always were on time. They even called us to tell us that they would not come the day after a heavy rain. There was a crew of 3 men, all of whom worked very hard. The scraping and painting was finished after 2 work days. When they finished, they asked us to inspect their work, and we asked them to scrape some paint drift off a couple of windows, which they did right away. They returned two days later to carry the deck furniture and gas grill back up the stairs onto the deck, and also to pick up paint chips from the scraping. The crew members were polite and professional. We are very pleased with the quality of their work. The house looks great.

From the first moment I met Nate, I loved him! He was personable, had great suggestions, and made me feel totally at ease. We were under a tight deadline to get all the lead paint removed (which was why this was more expensive than usual), and Nate had a large painting team out within a couple of weeks. They did an OUTSTANDING job! They were a great group of guys, and I actually missed them when it was done. They cleaned up before they left each night. I really barely knew they were even there. Needless to say, the house looks fantastic! Creative Finishes offers a wide variety of services. They will be the first and only place we call in the future. Nate and his crew have been at my home for 3 separate jobs over the last two years.? For 20 years I have been having painters in my home.? They are the best.? Professional, punctual, neat, honest, pleasant and if they can't fix it they know someone who can.? Nate and his crew's customer service is outstanding.? They painted the interior of my home two separate occasions very high ceilings where scaffolding is needed.? Much repair and trim work.? The outside of the house was difficult.? Wood windows, wood face, lots of scrapping and trim work.? Three different colors. Nate not only keeps tabs on his jobs but his guys have been with him for years and take full responsibility for the work. They are a tight group and I literally have not a complaint.? Nate helped with colors and his guys pointed out a serious wood issue on my porch which they repaired. I couldn't be more pleased.

Once again, Creative Finishes did an outstanding job on our home. We had our entire exterior of our Tudor home painted and they worked Saturday AND Sunday and completed the job in a day and a half. There was a large crew that did an amazing job. We feel like we live in a new home - it's beautiful! Nate is always very helpful and put up a couple different samples and helped us pick a wonderful combination that would match our home. Price was reasonable and we couldn't be happier with the job Nate and team has done on our home both inside and outside in the past 3 months. I highly recommend them!!

It went really well! Nate helped us pick out a couple different color options and we loved what we ended up with! Also, work was done REALLY fast and price was pretty comparable to other quotes we received. We also have them lined up to do our entire exterior this spring. Price for that was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received with the Angie's List discount! Nate has a great eye for color and what will look good. They also let you see a couple samples up first before you decide on one, which is really nice for indecisive people like myself. They cleaned up and never left a mess inside our house while the job was going on. Nate and crew are very professional as well - looking forward to having them back in a couple months.

Nate responded immediately to my request for an estimate. His friendly and professional manner, along with his very reasonable quote, made it easy to choose Nate's company for a whole house makeover. I was also impressed with all of the wonderful reviews Nate's customers left on Angie's List. His team arrived on time every day and got right to work. The guys were very friendly and did an absolutely awesome job! They cleaned up at the end of every day and moved the furniture back as they finished a room. We're looking forward to having Nate come back in the Spring and paint the entire exterior of our home also. The quality of Creative Finishes work was outstanding. They got the project done in a very short amount of time and were extremely professional throughout the process. The only possible way that I can fault them is on communication. I will be the first to admit that this work was completed at the end of the painting season, so i do understand that the weather is a factor. This being the first time I have painted a house, I had no expectations for how much communication would take place. I wasn't clear on when the work would start and when it would finish. I had to call Nathan to get a clearer picture. Again, this may be weather-related, but it is the only area where I can fault them. Other than that, their work was exemplary and my house is beautiful!

Left message on Nate's voice mail and he returned my call within an hour. Arranged to have him come out and determine what needed to be done and get an estimate. Nate arrived promply at scheduled time was very professional and personable. He explained the process of power washing the house one visit and doing semi transparent stain to match existing stain another visit. The house was power washed within the time frame Nate had given us. Due to weather delays it was it took a little longer to get the stain done, however, Nate and Jason called and kept us up to date on when they would complete the work. Jason and his painting crew arrived when they said they would. They were very polite, professional and thorough. I would highly recommend their company. They did a great job.

All went well! They showed up on time got to work and finished in 2 days. Professional crew really knew what they were doing. I recommended them to a friend and neighbor and both were very happy in the job result. Great company!

Nate was very responsive and professional from the first day we sent a request for a quote through the company web site. He came to our house and explained everything they would do in good detail. The quote was fair and competitive. They had to work around the fact that we were also planning on new windows this past Spring and were always very accommodating. Color consultation was part of the standard service. In the end we had to take a few trips to Sherwin Williams and paint a few strips on our own to find what we felt would be just right, but I think that was for the best. I'm sure he would have warned us if he thought the colors we liked would make our neighbors cringe. The contract carpenter had never worked with the material we preferred, fypon, but he figured it out. They found out our old boards and the new standard dimensions of the fypon and some cedar needed did not always match up. They had to rip cut many of the boards and I was impressed that they never complained about the extra work and even finished within the quoted time. They also made the most of every board to avoid additional costs and asked us before replacing any boards that didn't originally look that bad. This work was most of the reason I gave a "B" for quality though. They couldn't figure out a way to countersink the screws and the cedar being thicker than the original boards in a couple places probably could have been avoided. However - all was still "good" and the main job, painting, was very good... The painters and the quality of the painting really helped us appreciate the entire experience. They were very professional and polite and the finished product - 2 coats on the house and deck - looks great. Lines are straight and everything looks well-covered. Knowing my wife and I really put some effort in picking the colors, the painters complimented us on our choices once it started coming together.

We were very pleased with the job Nate and his team did. They were initially delayed in getting started with the work due to weather however Nate kept us informed as to when they would start. They completed our project in a single day, were polite/professional, and cleaned up completely. The price seemed fair with the Angie's List discount. We would definitely use them again.

Creative Finishes did a quality job painting the exterior of our home. Although the price seemed expensive, it was right in the ballpark of other companies' estimates. As the old adage goes, "You get what you pay for." The team that actually did the work was responsible, friendly and professional. It wasn't until the job was completed that we noticed some hail damage on some window frames from a storm years ago. Nate ( the owner) volunteered to have one of his guys come back and caulk up the holes and repaint free of charge. Overall, we are very pleased with the job done.

There was nothing wrong with them. The guy was really nice and everything, but was just pleased with the other person. He could have spent a little bit of more time and explained exactly what they were going to do. His price was a little high. He quoted $1700 for the job.

From start to finish, our experience with Creative Finshes, was extremely positive. Nate returned our call promptly and scheduled an appointment to arrive at our home within 24 hours to provide a quote. Nate was patient while testing multiple different color samples and combinations on the side of our home. The crew of Creative Finishes was professional, punctual, and hardworking, taking pride in all of the details of this job. At anytime, throughout this painting process, Nate and the crew were responsive and helpful in answering our questions. The cost of the service was on par with, if not a few dollars under, the original quote. My wife and I are very happy with the final result!

They painted most of the interior of our home. They did a great job. It took 2 days and they were quick. They cleaned up very well. They moved furniture back. All workers really nice & friendly. We will use them again.

The job couldn't have gone smoother! The painters came in, got to work and completed it very efficiently. It was a pleasure! Nathan came to check on the crew and the work about half-way through. It was very nice to have him stop by to check on the progress. I will definitely use Nathan's company again and I will highly recommend him as well!

It went very well. They were very professional, courteous, and was prompt. They did a great job replacing the old wood and did an amazing job on the painting the house. It really changed the look of our house for the better and we were very happy about the results. I also felt they were very reasonably priced and their quality of work was outstanding.

We had them paint our outside trim on our house last fall and liked them so we had them come back and paint some of the interior of our house. Because we were members of Angie's List we got a discount on their services and they also had a special going when we signed up with them for the painting, so we got a really good deal. Nate, the owner, suggested getting a couple different samples and painting small areas on the wall to see them at different times of day with different types of light. That was really helpful as the paint we thought would be the favorite in the store ended up not being the one we picked once we painted the test areas. Once we decided on a paint color we let him know what it was and they brought it with them the day they came to paint. They told us it could be a two day job but with the size of the crew he showed up with it ended up being a one day job. I understand us having everything but the big furniture moved out and them being able to cover that easily made the job go faster. We've never paid people to do our painting before the job we had them do last fall. We're really glad we did and that we used them as the painters. We've already recommended them to others.

Nate was very responsive and professional every step in the process, answering all of our questions. His crew was punctual and did a great job. They power washed the house, caulked everything, replaced some seals and trim for us and painted. The house looks great and I will be using Creative Finishes again for interior paint jobs.

Nate personally reviewed the work to be performed and provided the estimate. His pricing was reasonable and well within my budget. Upon acceptance, he scheduled our job. He and his crew arrived on time and completed the job on time. They were neat, considerate, and cleaned up thoroughly. The room looks great! I intend to use Creative Finishes for future painting projects and highly recommend them.
