Creative Finishes Painting

Nate called me back same day and came over shortly after with quote. I was impressed by his professionalism and easy going style. I wanted to wait a few weeks to get the house painted after my daughters wedding and his crew came over when he was on vacation. I wondered if they would do a great job while Nate was away and they actually did an excellent job. The job site was impeccably clean when I came home each day and they finished up in a few days. I was very pleased with the price and the quality of the work and the ease of dealing with Nate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will use them again when I'm ready to do some interior painting.

Very professional from start to finish. Completed work in agreed time frame, no deviations from estimate. Work was above average quality and minor problems were corrected immediately.

Nate Brown was the first of two who responded to our request for an estimate. One other company did not respond, and the other company was twice as expensive, so we definitely chose Creative Finishes. We were having other services performed around the same time, with the painting to be the last item. Nate kept in constant touch and scheduled our job as soon as the other work was complete. He and his crew arrived on time on 9/12 and worked steadily through the day in spite of the heat. They worked carefully and cleanly and were cautious of all our landscaping and irrigation heads. Nate asked questions as he went along to verify they were doing exactly what we expected. They replaced one handrail board on our deck at no extra cost, and did many little things that enhanced their finished product. The exterior of the door out to our deck was never painted properly and was a very washed out white. Nate painted it the same color as the house trim, with only the small trim around the glass painted white. We had not discussed this previously ugly door with Nate, but we loved the way it looked when it was finished. In fact, everything looked fantastic when they left, and we couldn't tell there had even been anyone working on our property. We were very pleased with Creative Finishes and will definitely use them again in the future. We would recommend them highly to others.

Nate was quick to respond to my call, getting here to do the estimate, and even faster to get the crew here to complete the work. The crew started off with a power wash of the entire house and we used the same color exterior trim, so the house looks "fresh and clean." We also had some wood trim that needed attention and chaulking in many areas. They were able to finish in less than two days, always answered our questions, and worked very well as a crew. We were pleased with the price and all the work!

Everything with the Company went great. I had three highly reputable painting companies from Angieslist come out to give me a quote, and Nate's price beat the next competitor by 10%. His crew arrived on time, and they worked hard to complete the job within a day. The cleaned up after themselves and were very polite and professional during the course of the day while they were working. Robin did a final walkthrough of the premises before he left, and he noticed a spot that was missed and made sure it was appropriately painted prior to leaving, so I was impressed by how thorough he was. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs exterior paint. Their work was very clean and we've received several compliments from neighbors. My one suggestion I would make to the company is to specify means of payment up front with the customer. I would have liked to use credit card to pay for the project, however I was 'encouraged' to pay by check or cash. I had no problem doing so (and understand why they'd prefer those methods), but I think it may be better to establish this up front with the customer as to their intentions.

Response was very quick and friendly. Had an estimate in hand within a few days of initial contact. Nate was very professional, and presented options that were available. Quality of work was VERY good, and they even replaced an extra rotting board that was not included in the estimate. Very happy with the service provided. Some minor issues around slight damage to our landscape, but self-admittedly, I can understand how some of our landscape was hard to work-around. All in all, I would use them again.

Found this company on Angie's List and had great reviews. I was not disappointed! Nate and his crew were right on time, did all the work contracted for and then some. First estimate was higher, but because I agreed to have him do the work when he gave me the estimate, (and he did not pressure me to go with him at that time) he reduced the price and would have even if I took 3 weeks to say yes and he discounted for Angie's List. In addition to painting, he replaced some trim pieces that were coming off (I bought the trim) at no additional charge and did a better job than the original builder. His crew pressure washed one day, he scraped, primed with oil base primer and did two coats of a name brand laytex paint. The result was spectacular. There was no overpainting outside the lines and they cleaned everything up afterwards. His people were great (4 of them including Nate) and were very courteous.I would definitely have them do another job for me in the future. If there is one drawback, it took him 4 weeks to get to me. That is not a negative, but the fact that he is that good and in great demand. Thanks again, Nate. Loved the work.

Nate and his team did a fabulous job. We needed the job done in a very short amount of time and they definitely delivered. They were here early and worked steadily until mid-afternoon to get the job finished. They had teams working in multiple rooms at once to get the job done efficiently. The staff were all very friendly. We will definitely be hiring them again to do our kitchen as well as some outdoor areas including weatherproofing our fence. We would highly recommend them.

I loved them. They were great and out within a week of when I called them. Nate was very nice and they were very timely.

They did a really good job. They were efficient and friendly and their price was a lot better than everybody else’s.

Nate, the owner, is very good about calling back in a timely manner. He was very easy to work with and did a great and thorough job with the color consultation. The workers were efficient and clean. They completed the project in 2 days. I did have to ask them to hook the downspouts back up to the drains in the ground since they had moved them slightly to paint. After they were done, I noticed some paint on a vinyl window frame. I called Nate and two days later, someone came out to remove it. I appreciate their customer service. I would make sure to mention ahead of time how you plan to pay (credit card vs check) since I did have a very small issue in that regard (we each assumed something different), but overall, that was a minor point. I am very pleased, and the house looks fabulous!

The first power cleaning was not sufficient, and when we informed the company about this, they promptly re-did the cleaning to our satisfaction. We were wanting to have the paint job done before a special event, and they were able to meet this request, in spite of the limited time available. The deck looks very good, and we are 100% happy with the services performed. Without hesitation we do recommend this company for your paint job!

Deciding to paint the entire interior of your home while you are still living there, is a hard decision. Nate and his crew were a delight to work with. My husband and I recommend them highly! Creative Finishes was recommended to us by a friend. We are very pleased with the advice Nate gave us in updating the interior of our home. He and his crew were prompt each and every day, worked the entire day and completed the job in the time given. They were respectful of our property, furniture and pets. They were extremely neat and cleaned up every day.,

Nate and his crew did an outstanding job on painting the entire exterior of our home including the enclosed porch, deck and garage interior. My husband and I are extremely pleased. They are very neat, respectful of the clients' privacy and completed the job as agreed. We also appreciate the fact that Nate made suggestions which improved the look of our home. We had a great experience with Nate and Creative Finishes Painting, from start to finish. I had 4 other estimates for the work and thankfully selected Creative Finishes. Nate and his crew went above and beyond to meet our needs. At our request, he helped with color choices, did a trial on the wood and stucco, then helped us revise our selections to match what we were expecting. Nate was meticulous in his work and no detail was overlooked. The job was completed in a timely manner and the cleanup after the job was excellent. 2 years later we are still looking Great! We went on to have Nate do some interior painting and were equally as pleased. We HIGHLY recommend Creative Finishes Painting!

I have used Creative finishes at both of my homes. Their work is professional, timely and most importantly Nate and his employees are very trustworthy. I conitnue to use them for all of my painting needs both interior and exterior. The end result is fabulous.

After a friend raved about the job they did, we included them in the companies that gave us estimates for painting our large cedar siding house (3 stories in the back which drops down into a cliff area) and they were the lowest price - so we hired them. Nate was helpful with color selection and also very accommodating with doing some extra work such as wood repair that we needed to have done before painting. They took care of all the wood work and prep including scraping and caulking, fastened loose boards, repaired and replaced wood where it was needed and gave us a single quote to take care of everything as well as a separate quote on painting our sizable decking (which we did not decide to do). Weather delayed the work along the way but they did all they said they would do as and when they could, working around the unpredictable weather. After they were done, they asked for payment (nothing was paid up front). After that, we found some wood repair that we failed to find and include in the quote and they came right out and took care of that at no charge. We also had a few casement windows that were hard to open and they took care of them too. Our house has never looked better!
