Central Ohio Tree & Stump Removal

Had a challenging job with a partial tree stump after another company bailed on me and refused to complete grinding since a metal chain link fence post was buried in the perimeter of the stump. Spoke with Tim Rose who stopped by the next day and reassured me he could handle it. He was very professional and did exactly what we agreed on. He used a large grinding machine and a chain saw to carefully remove the stump around the post just below grade, then cut it off with an angle grinder. Perfect. I highly recommend.

Tim Rose is great. He helped me out with a difficult stump removal and then I hired him again to do a tree and stump removal. He did exactly what was agreed, his prices are reasonable, and he’s prompt and courteous.

Tim Rose came out to look at the tree and quoted us a very fair estimate. We are scheduling with him and look forward to working with them.

They were probably one of the best, most efficient and professional contractors we have ever used. It was a pleasure watching them as a couple of the trees were over 30' tall and between 2 houses and it went very smooth. They cleaned everything up and we, and our neighbors, were very pleased.

It is great to get the owner when you call. Tim answered all my questions. The work was done quickly and everything was cleaned up He found an old stump near the one he got rid off and even took care of it.. I will not hesitate to use him again

They laid sheets of plywood down on my grass wherever one of their trucks when so they would not damage my lawn. I measured the stump diameter and then called Central Ohio Tree and Stump Removal. I left a message explaining the type of tree the stump was from and the service I would like to have performed. I was concerned after hearing how some companies only shave the stump down a few inches below the yard surface. Within a few hours Tim Rose called me back and explained that they could perform the work as I requested. The next day Tim's son arrived at my house as scheduled and grinded the stump with a very large grinder. The grinder easliy ground the stump and surrounding roots down below my requested depth. The company will quote you a price to clean up the shavings or you can advise them you will clean up the shavings, I choose to clean them up myself, Cleaning up is time consuming and the shavings are heavy when placed in a container or yard bag so don't get upset with the company if you choose to do your own cleanup. My experience with the Rose family was excellent and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs to remove a stump. From intial contact until job completion Central Ohio Tree and Stump Removal perfomed the job to my expectations!!!

Removal of 50+ Dead ash trees Ongoing project. We have 37 acres with hundreds of dead ash trees (ash borer really hit our property hard - do not move firewood people!) Tim and crew worked about a full week on just beginning the cleanup this past fall. Some were full service complete removal and some just cut down and stump and I had a church group do the cleanup in exchange for the firewood (which took all winter) Tree sizes ranged from 6inch to absolutely massive. They had all the right equipment and removed the truly huge tree trunks that were way too big to make firewood. This has to be one of the bigger jobs for them and was a great job and I think a great value. Other quotes were over $25,000.00 will probably hire them for another week this late summer dry season to continue the job which may take years to complete overall.

I was very happy with his work. He did the work within the time range he quoted. The clean up was amazing. The price was fair. I would highly recommend them.

After waiting on another tree service for a month (I had used them once before.) I canceled them and researched Angie’s List to find someone else. I decided on Central Ohio Tree and Stump Removal based on excellent reviews. Tim Rose came out the very next day to look things over and we accepted his bid. The following day he came out and did the job. Everything was done well and we were very happy with his responsiveness and follow-through. My husband appreciated the fact that he had gear to protect our air-conditioning unit from flying debris. I wish I had found Mr. Rose a month earlier!!

They were here on time, cleaned up everything, and did a wonderful job.

On 9/11/14 my neighbor rang my doorbell at 7 a.m. to let me know 1/4 of my Bradford Pear tree next to my driveway had fallen in the night and was blocking my driveway and garage. I went to Angie's List and found Central Ohio Tree and Stump Removal as they were close to my house in Hilliard. I called Tim about 7:30 a.m. He answered the phone and said he would be out shortly to give me an estimate. He arrived within 30 minutes and we agreed on a price. He said he would make me his first job for the day, and he and his crew returned about 9:30. Within 90 minutes the tree and stump were gone. Tim and his crew were great and I would use them again without hesitation.

They came a day or two after I called and the service was excellent.

Central Ohio Tree and Stump Removal was fantastic. They came out the same day I called and gave me an estimate that was much lower than several other companies I had had out to look. They were quick and neat, and did a wonderful job.

I was very impressed with the work they did. Tim was prompt in returning phone calls, supplying the quote and answering any follow up questions. The day the tree was taken down, I came home and could barely tell anything had happened that day (minus the missing massive tree). They did a great job cleaning up my yard, driveway and sidewalks. I had the stump ground also, and they went very deep, and even ground out some of the exposed roots that were running through the yard. Their price was the lowest by far, but their service was much better than other companies I had quote the job. I would gladly hire them again!

Their pricing was fair and they were able to clean the site afterwards. They were responsive and did a great job.

Had a medium/large sized tree removed. It was a tricky removal due to proximity to nearby houses and fencing, so many others quoted higher prices. They were on time, did a great job quickly and went beyond what was expected and even removed a couple smaller trees as well. Very nice and polite, seemed genuinely thankful for the business.

I did not use them for any work and would not after I received their price which was much too high.

Tim answered the phone and I explained the tree was around 70 feet tall and I just wanted it downed. I would clean it up to use the firewood for myself and he indicated he would not be interested in performing the work. It was as if he was not confident enough to drop a tree that large or was more interested in removing the tree to resell the firewood. I was not very happy with that response especially when I joined Angie's List for the express purpose of finding someone that was licensed and bonded that would get this tree down. I know this is free enterprise but I expected more from a business that had an A rating on AL. I joined to save myself time and to find a quality trusted business, in the end this suggestion wasted more of my time.
