They just finished up the work about two weeks ago. They did a good job but with the cleaning we did have to have them back a couple of time to get it right. In the end it was really good we were happy with it. It would have been nice if they would have done the work right the first time.

I The job was to replace a low slope roof on an enclosed porch with rolled roofing material. Some cracked wood was to be replaced toward the gutter. I talked to Andy on a Friday, and since all four estimates were about the same, I decided to go with BoneDry. He told me they would get to the job later next week. Nothing happened that week , so I called the following Monday. I was told they would be there that Friday. They arrived ( unannounced ) Friday. I noticed they were sealing the front part of the roof without replacing any wood. I called Andy. The workers disappeared for an hour plus and returned with a piece of wood ( not the kind I had requested). They had to cut it with a circular saw. The cut was wavy and too narrow. They put the wavy side toward the gutter so the drip edge would drain water down the side of the house. This is what I saw when I climbed up to look. I told the workers about it and they just packed up and left. I called Andy and told him about it and he came out to inspect. He said someone would be there to correct it the next day. Nobody showed. They then came Wednesday and I was told no one knew what to do. They did put a skirt in the gutter and replaced a side piece of wood that did not need replacing. Called Andy again and he said there would be a final inspection Thursday @ 4:30. He never showed or called. My grass has died where the workers put their tarps down . I gave them a C for price as all estimates were about the same. Then again, what is a job like this worth? I am 67 years old and this is the worst roofing experience of my life

Andy returned my initial call the same day I made it. He came out to assess my roof and concluded that the Big Deal would meet my shingle replacement needs without extra work and expense. At my request, he also described his viable solution to my gutter overflowing torrentially during storms and eroding the mulch in the flower bed below. He offered a bid for the gutter work that would be added to the cost of the Big Deal and I gladly accepted. He said Lonnie would be calling me the following week to schedule the work. Lonnie never called to arrange an appointment but, rather, just showed up in my driveway about a week later. I'm also used to service companies calling me when they are on their way to my house from their previous appointment. I didn't receive that call either. This caught me off guard but was not a problem for me, personally, since I happened to be home at the time. I only mention it because others seeking a roofer may not share my opinion. This was my reason for the B rating for Punctuality. I'm hoping it will be taken as useful information by Bone Dry Roofing so they don't waste their valuable time going to a jobsite expecting to work but, instead, being delayed because no one is home. After our initial confusion over this, Lonnie went straight to work performing the roof maintenance first then followed with cutting the custom the splash guard and it's installation. I honestly can't speak specifically for the maintenance roof work since I wasn't on the roof myself. But I'm quite confident that Lonnie did excellent roofing work for 2 reasons. First, he said he wasn't pleased with the shingles he had brought that day because they weren't a close enough match to suit him. So he had to make another trip here to complete the work with a better matching product. I wasn't on the roof so I would never have known this. Well, done, Lonnie...a truly honest professional who cares about the quality of service he offers his clients! Second, I can say that Lonnie took great care to cut the splash guard extra high and it really paid off!!! A few days after installation, there was a pretty strong storm that blasted through and the splash guard kept every drop contained within the gutter to drain correctly...not to spill over and erode my mulch in the flower bed below. I couldn't be more pleased with Andy, Lonnie and Bone Dry Roofing. I noticed another gutter breach during that storm and contacted Andy about getting that issue assessed also. As yet, I haven't been contacted to talk about that project yet. A really nice option with Bone Dry is you can pay your bill online at their website if you are using a credit card. Definitely a company to be trusted with the client's best interest in mind. Kudos, Bone Dry Roofing!!! Thanks for a stellar project completed.

my husband contacted this company to get an estimate on replacing our roof as well as removal of several capped non functioning chimneys. Two men arrived Friday as scheduled to look at the roof to give us an estimate but even though we had told them that they will need at least a 40 foot ladder to reach our roof they claimed they did not bring the appropriate ladder and promised to come back the next Monday. They did not return on Monday and did not contact us to reschedule. It was pretty clear from the first interaction that they either had no experience with a Victorian style roof like ours or simply did not want to bother. I found this to be rather unprofessional. If you're looking for roof work done and live in old towne east or king Lincoln district you should look for another company because it seems that this one has no experience with these types of tall complex Victorian homes.

I needed a roof in the middle of that record period of rain we had. All the moisture from my leaking barn shed roof brought an infestation of ants. We needed to protect my belongings because all my storage was in the barn and doubly so because every single box was taken apart to inspect for ants. It was imperative I acted quickly to prevent a return of the ants due to moisture from the leaking roof. I called Bone-Dry Roofing on a Friday and Andy Gastineau came out the following morning on a Saturday. There were other companies that couldn't give me an estimate for 2 weeks! He was very professional and did not pressure me in the least but let his company and product speak for him. He told me about the 10 year Workmanship Guarantee and said I had 30 days to pay for it. They took advantage of a brief respite from the rain and the job was finished by Tuesday afternoon! I had a quality job completed in less than 4 days from beginning to end. I had an amazing experience with Bone-Dry Roofing and would definitely reccommend the company for others.

They were prompt, neat and I have had no sign of leaking since they completed the job. I would recommend them.

First, I LOVE my roof. the roofing crew was friendly and hardworking. They came out the Friday and Saturday before labor day in order to get my roof watertight (I had rain coming thru into my kitchen). They were on-site for longer than 12 hours both days. It then poured on Sunday, and I got to sit in a rain-free house. They even tried to help me move my furniture. I love my roof. The only issue I had was with the service manager. The company advertises on their website that they do interiors, exteriors, roofing, windows, and masonry. The main thing I was looking for was my roof. Cause, ya know - inside rain. However, when I asked about getting some windows replaced, I was told they haven't done windows in the Columbus area yet. When I asked if they would like to, I got a shrug and the subject changed. When I asked if they could put a cap on the chimney for me, first I got an incredulous "do you never want to use it again?" Then, when I said not to cap it off but that I wanted a cap to keep things out, I got told there was a screen up there. Screens don't keep out rain, or snow, or downdrafts, thank you very much. And again the subject changed. I pointed out the leaking area in the kitchen, and got no offer or price about fixing the interior plaster, or even a hey we fix that. I had a busted out back window, and no offer to help board it up. I asked about getting a real attic access put in (I just have a little convenience port now with boards covering it) and was ignored. I asked about putting in a vent for my bathroom and kitchen and was ignored. So basically, they lost a lot good amount of money and work because of a slightly rude manager. Also, I had a fan put in on the roof, and was not informed ahead of time that they did not do the connection to the electric, so it is up there, unconnected. Apparently, the only thing they do in Columbus is roofing.

Andy came and gave me an estimate. He showed up on time and was very thorough. He had the best price and I had his company do the work. The work was done in 2 days. The workers did a great job and cleaned up at the end of the day and left my property clean when they were done. Andy always answered my calls and took care of all my concerns.

Our service person went up on the roof IN DRIVING RAIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. We were sure anyone we got would say they had to wait until the rain stopped, or at least until daylight. He re-sealed around the vent pipes, and the leak stopped immediately. He charged us so little that we insisted he take more money!

Work was fine. Crew was efficient. Did the job in one day. Only issue I had was slight scratch to garage door frame from forklift and a couple small scuffs of tar from old shingles on the siding where discarded shingles inadvertently hit the side of the house. They were supposed to send someone out to clean them up but they are still visible.

Very prompt throughout the whole process. Storm damage was late Friday night. Bone Dry-Columbus came out to the house Tuesday morning and provided an initial estimate (Gen. Manager of the Columbus office). Additionally, the GM applied a temporary patch to the ridge vent area of our roof, as part of the initial visit (without guarantee of business). Within an hour or so (following an assessment by our insurance assessor), we signed Bone Dry's quote and agreed to their repair estimate. The GM's best guess for the permanent repair was Friday. On Thursday, we were pleasantly surprised, when they called an wanted to know if they could perform the repair that same day (1 day early). They came out to the house, repaired the replace the shingles, the flashing and checked & sealed the other loose shingles. In short, we were very happy with Bone Dry's professionalism, promptness, and quality of work. Their price was also $50 under the insurance estimate, which served as a good, quick validation of the approach to the repair & the price.

It was excellent. They were professional and timely. The quality of products was good.

My experience went okay. I had to call them back to negotiate the price down after finding out they did not need to do as much as was estimate. However, I was pleased with the outcome of the service.

Excellent and professional from beginning to end. Arrived as scheduled for the assessment/estimate and to perform the service. Cleaned up after and hauled away the debris. Also identified possible problem area with chimney masonry.

Nothing was done. I had to go with some other provider.

They did a really good job on the roof but I had to really get after them to do it. Once they came, they did the job really fast and everything. They came out right away for the estimate but I had to call a couple of times to say when they are coming out to do it. We had also asked them, after they have done the roof, to come back and put a shield in our gutter. He said he will get back with an estimate and we never heard from him. They did a great job on the roof. They were quick and they cleaned up. They did a good job while they were here. It was just getting them here that I had to call them. It was just a little to get them to commit to when they will come out to do the work.

Went super well -- even charged less than expected once job was done by the guys. That's cool ! Thanks.

I had a very good experience. The gentleman came on time and went out of his way to remove debry off my roof. I recieved excellent service. They provided me with a written estimate in a folder. They were very professional.

We had Shawn out to give an estimate. He was very chatty, but a week later we had still not received our estimate. I sent an email asking to have it in the next 24 hours and was told - no problem. I still didn't get my estimate, so I sent an email saying I was going to go with someone else. He said that he'd sent the estimate the morning before, but I never received it. He resent it anyway, but because I was unhappy with the amount of time this took, I still chose to go with another provider.

All the work was done on time and as expected.

We contracted this company because of its Angie's List rating after wind damage from the July 2012 storms. It's a good thing we did because of the problems we had with our insurance claim. Shawn with Bone-Dry Roofing made the initial inspection/estimate and worked with us and our insurance company until the end. He was here when the independent adjuster final showed up and pretty much denied 95% coverage of the wind damage. Shawn gave us expert advice that allowed us to contact our insurance company and request a company adjuster to reinspect the roof. When the company insurance adjuster came to reinspect the roof damage, Shawn was here again to walk through the process with him. By the way, the adjuster approved the total replacement of the roof at that time. Shawn was here to oversee the work when the roofers got here. The roofers behaved professionally and meticulously cleaned up around the house when they were finished. The old roof edging needed replaced after the roof was replaced so Shawn made sure that was taken care of, too, on another day. Needless to say, the insurance claim process was long and drawn out but Shawn patiently stayed with it until the end. He answered every phone call or email immediately or within hours. He took the time to answer all of our questions. We really felt like Shawn had our back during the whole process and that was so appreciated. We would not hesitate to call Bone-Dry Roofing in the future. We have been and will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks.
