On the coldest day of the year so far, I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to find someone to come out to the house, but I called and they said they'd try to fit me in. Jim asked me for the model number and said a tech would call before they came out this afternoon. In less than a 1/2 an hour Jim called back w/instructions and walked me through it.

As always, a pleasure to work with. From the office staff to the techs--they are all fabulous, professional, friendly, accommodating, and thorough.

He did a great job. He changed the filters that needed to be changed, and checked everything that needed to be checked. One of the heat pump units was not wired and therefore not working, and he connected it and did not charge us for that. We were so happy with his work that we purchased a service contract with him as well.

This company was really good at their work. They installed everything and did the work in one day. They hauled away the old furnace and air conditioner and all parts not needed. The owner is really knowledgeable and gives you what you need and doesn't push you to take things that you don't. He knows the market and prices things accordingly.

David provided excellent and professional customer service. Our furnace was broken for four days during a very cold and windy period. The part needed to be ordered, but the installation went very smoothly.

Got someone live every time I called and scheduling was very easy. One workman arrived and did some work and had the heat going again, but their was some issue with the thermostat going blank/flashing after his work. They sent a different workman the next day who got the thermostat back in action and all has been well ever since. It was easy from start to finish and I will call them again any time I need service for my furnace.

Tom, the technician, arrived on time and was very courteous. I explained the situation to him and he checked out the pump. Of course, it worked just fine when he tried it out. Before arbitrarily replacing the pump, I asked him if he could look at it to see if there was really something wrong with it or if perhaps it was just clogged. He was very persistent and finally discovered that the controller switch was sticking intermittently. He worked with it and was able to get it adjusted so that it worked properly. As a precaution, he hooked up a safety shutoff so that if the switch sticks again the water to the humidifier will shut off rather than pumping gallons of water into my basement. Kudos to Tom for his persistence and his genuine concern for completing the job correctly.

Everything was wonderful. They showed up within five minutes of the time they said they were going to be there. They cleaned up the area where they were working.

They have excellent follow up. I bought a contract with them and they come out three times a year and do a thorough check on everything. They have excellent contract pricing. It's a small family owned company. They also do continual follow up!

Their team came in, they were conscientious, kept their promises, cleaned up after themselves. They provided an excellent product at the lowest price and professional conscientious service.

We had water seeping out from under our furnace/AC in the basement. The problem gradually got worse so I wanted to get it looked at quickly. I called a few places and first called out a different company since they could come out same day. After looking at the unit, the first technician's assessment was that the drainage pan inside the furnace block had a leak and needed to be replaced. However, because of the age of the unit this would be difficult and would require replacing the AC coil, a repair of around $1200. Given the cost he also suggested that we consider a new system altogether, about $3500. Faced with the prospect of spending that kind of money (and because the first company isn't associated w/ our home warranty), I chose to get a second opinion. I contacted All Knight Heating and Cooling and they came out the next day. The technician took a look and had a very different assessment. He did not see any problem with the drainage pan. All he found was a clogged drainage pipe causing a back up and subsequent overflow from the pan. He easily cleared the clog, and he reconfigured some of the drainage piping so we could easily clear it ourselves in the future. This almost resolved the problem. Within a day or two I saw some more water though I could tell it was from the drainage line, not from under the furnace. I called All Knight again. The same technician came out within an hour. Since we had already paid the $100 "deductible" with our home warranty, we did not have to pay add'l fees. Some of the joints in his initial repair did not hold (so that's one knock on quality). After fixing it a second time, the problem was resolved. We spent $100 instead of a few thousand. When redoing drainage, the technician left a lot of the glue for the joints dripping over the pipes. This did not affect the repair, but it is unattractive and unprofessional. Also, while fixing the problem, the technician got some water on this shoes from the floor. He didn't wipe them off and instead walked on the carpet, stairs, and floor without realizing he was tracking water. One more extra: I did not have our home warranty number in the paperwork. All Knight called the warranty company for me to get the number. That was nice. Overall, a good experience, but a little lacking in some of the details.

All Knight sent someone the day after I called. I was not home, but my husband reported that the repairman was very helpful. We have been in the house 4 years and never knew we had a heat pump! He explained to my husband how it worked and when to use each setting on the thermostat to get the most efficient heating and cooling. He also added refrigerant and we have been comfortably heated and cooled ever since. Would definitely use them again. Their hourly rate was similar to or less than others we contacted.

I have a newborn and I don't have much time. It was great-they were quick, professional and everything worked out great.

Our A/C stopped working at a very hot time in July. I called shortly after 8 am and asked if they could come out that afternoon and they said it was no problem. They could have come in the morning, but our schedule did not allow for that. They gave a window from 12-5 and called when they were on their way. When I got home, John was already around back looking at the outside unit. He came in and within 5 minutes determined that our blower motor had burned out. He had one on his truck and replaced it and had us back in the cool very quickly. He was here a total of 90 minutes. John was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend them to our friends.

Good work, fair priced, congenial and flexible. I always felt confident that they were doing quality work. Any repairs I've needed since the install have been quick and excellently done. I'm very impressed with their professionalism. This is a good quality, solid company.

Another awesome experience. Heating and cooling--being essential to our lives and comfort--is so much easier when the company is so great to work with! Our hats off to all of you.

Steve found the problem right away, and repaired it quickly. Last year, the blower motor went out on the air handler. It turns out that when the tech from our former HVAC service company replaced the blower motor, he forgot to hook up the current sensor that enables the humidifier water valve. So our humidifier has not worked since then. While he was here, I asked him to check out a couple of other things since we're at the beginning of the serious heating season, which is the reason for a higher charge than you might guess was necessary.

My experience overall was good. It wasn't "excellent" because I saw a reluctance in Steve in trying a repair versus a replacement. He did tell me that it would cost me $200 - $300 to try to plug the leak or re-braze the joint, but he did not instill confidence in me. I would have expected a more definitive reply from this company. I accepted their quote, primarily because I had guests coming and I did not want the house to be without A/C. Overall the company's approach appeared to be sound i.e. although reluctant to repair the leak, it did not appear as though they were pushing me toward the replacement. Note that I sat on their quote for almost 1 month.

I called them and 3 other companies for quotes. All Knights' price was the best, another quote was close, but I got the impression that their service would be lacking, and the other 2 companies were considerable higher. Jim recharged our unit as it was quite hot outside. I told him I was getting quotes from other companies and didn't know if I would be choosing his company. He said he understood and that he wanted to help out regardless of who I chose. It turned out that I did not end up having the unit installed last year, but I remembered how good Jim was so I called him back this year. He showed the same promptness, professionalism, and good price as he did the year before and I am very happy that I chose his company. Jim is a very nice guy and the type of person you feel you can trust and do business with. I took my time and did my homework as I always do before purchasing a product or choosing a company to do business with, so trust me when I say you will be pleased with them.

Jim Holstein and his crew evaluated our HVAC units for replacement. Throughout the entire process, he was a consummate professional, very honest, thorough, timely and polite. Upon inspection of our furnace, he noticed that the heat exchangers were cracked beyond repair and the furnace was too old to replace those parts. Knowing that our home warranty might not allow his company to do the work of installing new HVAC, he was still honest enough to let us know. We were able to work with him on the work and our home warranty reimbursed us for what the new heat exchangers would have cost. The crew came every day for a week, were professional and polite and cleaned up well after themselves each day. We were extremely impressed with their work, their integrity and the entire process working with All-Knight and would recommend them to anyone.

The workers were very professional, job was done quickly. And job went smoothly.

I called Barbara [who is a gem] to request the service - she sent someone out within an hour! He identified the problem and came back the next day, with the parts, to do the repair.

They were definitely very informative on what type of furnace to install. They were very courteous and clean during installation. We are very pleased with the product.
