Furnace was not working. All Knight came out for a diagnostic visit, billed about $98.00 for this trip and said a control panel kit was needed. Quoted a price of an additional $913.00 to obtain the parts, do the labor, travel and mark up on parts. This seemed too high so I did some research. They said the install would be a little over an hour so the materials seemed over priced. I contacted another Angie's List company, they came out and determined ONLY the igniter needed replaced and NOT the control panel. The igniter cost $185 plus visit. Not comfortable with the profit margin All Knight felt they needed to get and incorrect diagnosis.

All-Knight has been providing maintenance service for my HVAC system for several years. I have always found them to friendly, responsive and fair-priced. We've been fighting a nagging problem with a 15 year old heat pump (installed by another outfit). When we decided to put the house up for sale, it made sense to just replace the unit and give the buyer the comfort that they won't have to deal with an aging system. Jim credited all the service calls made to try to sort out the old heat pump, and gave me a great price on new one. It was installed quickly and efficiently, and he tidied up the appearance of the air handler to boot. I highly recommend All-Knight, and will continue to use them as my HVAC service provider in our new home.

First let me say that we had 5 heating people in our house and didn't have heat for two months. We keep telling people that something wasn't right. Three companies came in and told us to buy a new heater. One company told us that the vents were clogged to have them cleaned. We did have the vents cleaned and that was not the problem. This company came in and started initially saying the same thing. He thought the vents might be clogged. Then he noticed that the gas furnace had an exhaust smell. He immediately shut it off. Then he told us that our 90%r furnaces have warranties on the heating elements for life. No other companies told us that! They just wanted us to buy a new heater. Turns out our gas heater had caught fire and we were lucky to be alive. They replaced the heating element and we only had to pay labor since they checked and it was under warranty. I have to tell you..... I was very impressed with this company! Don't use American Air they were the worse encountered!

All Knight did a great job each time. They responded quickly - same day - to our service call and the repairs have successfully extended the life of our system for another season.

They've helped me several times. They're very prompt and very professional. Their service staff is very friendly. I think, their pricing is very good.

We had been using this company for 15 years. When our A/C was serviced in the Spring of 2012, a leak developed when a technician stepped on a drain line. Water soaked the ceiling and walls of the second floor. They came and repaired the leak and their insurance paid for the repairs and repainting. Two weeks later, the leak reoccurred and when they came to repair it we were told it was our fault because we didn't pay for additional repairs when they were here to repair the work the first time. We were not told that repairs were needed and had never balked at paying for repairs that were suggested. We paid for the repairs and ultimately paid for the second round of repairs and repainting - about $800 in addition to the cost of the repairs. Calls to the company to discuss a resolution were not responded to in person, only through a receptionist. We will never use All Knight again, and will not recommend their services to anyone.

We've used them for probably 10 or 12 years. I usually get a card from them and I call to make an appointment. The cost varies. The last time I renewed it I think it was about $130 for a two year contract, but it was a special deal that they had at the time. Their prices seem to be on the lower end of the maintenance contracts compared to what others in the condo have indicated they are paying. They're very reliable and for me they are local. They are here when they say they are going to be here and if they have emergency cases, which I think happened once when I had a routine maintenance scheduled, they call and ask if they could delay it for later in the day. They called ahead of time so I would know that they wouldn't be here. If they say they're going to show up they usually do. I can't think of a time when they did not call 15 or 20 minutes beforehand to say that they are on their way so we could be prepared. They also seem to do good work and I've had no problems whatsoever. I've asked them to do a couple of other things for me on occasion which they have not charged for. It was just inspecting some things in the system that normally when they come out it would not be included, but they do it and I'm very satisfied with them. If they find things they offer solutions and it's only happened once or twice where we had something that needed attention. They'll let me know how serious it is, like if it's something with the heating or if it is going to damage the property or if it could go awhile so I could make an inform decision about. When I call for an appointment they'll tell me that they are going to be in my area on a certain and ask would that day work for me as well so that they could group. To me that's good business sense. I would expect that they would try to do that because overall it helps keep the cost down for them and of course ultimately for me as well. I can't remember a time in the years that we've used them that they have failed to show up or they have not called if they are going to be wait. They'll usually give us a range when they are going to be here, like between 2:00 or 4:00 or something in the afternoon. I've had them call and tell me that they could come earlier and once in a while they will call and say they can't make it by whatever the end time would be, like instead of 4:00 it would be 4:30. They are very professional and they know what they are doing. They have good training and I've never had an issue with any of their work.

Our AC went out on an extremely hot day last summer, and we called All Knight for service. The dispatcher was very nice and professional and took down our number. A short time later, the technician called back and scheduled a time to come and make the repairs. He arrived on time and spent some time evaluating the unit. After a little time looking it over, he decided he could fix the problem, at least temporarily. He cleaned the unit out and made the repair, noting that it may not be permanent, but at least we had AC. About a week later, the part did fail (as he predicted it might), and we called and again got a very quick response. The same technician came out a short while later with the new part and we've been good ever since. He did tell us that we may need to consider a new compressor at some point, but it worked the rest of the summer without fail. On the first day the unit stopped working, we called another HVAC service who also took our number down as well and never even returned the call, so we were so excited to get this type of service on such a hot day. Amazing customer service, great responsiveness, and the technician did all he could to save us from having to replace an expensive part. We will be using them again!

We are in the process of selling our home and the buyer requested the hvac be serviced in the request for remedy report. John from All Knight came out and was professional, punctual and easy to work with. I felt that he treated me honestly when he gave my system a clean bill of health. He even helped me re-hook my garage door after a power-outage earlier in the day.

The reason I gave the rating of B on punctuality was because the first time All Knight came to my home, I asked them to call me at work so I could meet them there; I told them it would take me approximately 20 minutes to get home. They called me at approximately 8:45 a.m. and told me the repairman was on his way, at which time I left work. The repairman did not arrive until a little after 10:00 so I was at home for approximately one hour before he arrived. The second day, I again asked them to call me at work when the repairman was on his way. I also requested an appointment time in the early afternoon because I had to go out of town mid afternoon; they said okay. I had not heard from them by approixiamtely 2:00 so I called them. I was told the repaiman was finishing a job and I would be the next stop, so I requested they call me when he was on the way so I could leave work. They did not call me until approximately 4:00 and the repairman was already at my home. I arrived home and he was able to complete the repair in approximately 30 minutes.

Called 5 business days prior to appointment with issue. Wasn't an emergency (just needed to shut off water intake and turn off humidifier pump in interim), so didn't require a rush. Unfortunately, didn't show at appointed time and when I called they indicated that one of their employees had called in sick and so staff were having to cover multiple appointments (would have been nice to receive a phone call proactively vs. my making a reactive call). Arrived approximately an hour and a half later than expected. Once there, the individual was very professional and quick. Also showed me how to maintenance in the future to extend the compressor's life. Overall a very good experience. Can understand completely when scheduling gets thrown off due to unexpected illness.

I've used All Knight since moving into my house, and they've always done good work at a reasonable price. I was especially impressed that they were able to repair the units because another contractor said I would have to replace them entirely.

See above. Our upstairs ac unit wasn't cooling. I had a couple of folks out to give quotes. Most tried to up sell and tried to fix more than what needed to be fixed. The owner of all knight came out, and shot it straight. Was able to turn around the solution quickly. He even rigged our unit for the weekend because we were having company and he couldn't get the new unit installed that same day. He came first thing Monday morning and he and another guy took just a couple of hours to install. He did try to sell me a new thermostat or anything else I didn't need like other companies did.

All Knight did a great job from start to finish. The office is extremely efficient and courteous. They call and confirm when they will arrive.The gentlemen who did the work was very good and explained the humidifier to me. He was a pleasure to have in my home.

Replaced furnace but it did not blow hot air. Called company back and owner came back same day. Fixed issue and furnace is working. Easy to work with.

I have used them before. Wonderful staff from calling into the office until servace is completed. They really seem to care about you not just as a customer. They treat you like you are a family member, competent and polite.

They were very responsive to our multiple questions and were not pushy at all. When we decided to go with them, they were punctual and professional. Very good experience

Quickly estimated the cost to conduct the work requested and booked an appointment to do the work. Showed up on time and did a very good job. Came up with a solution that did not require the lines be cut and therefore saved me money, compared to quotes provided by others. Work was conducted as agreed.

Repairman arrived on time, was very courteous. Did the check-up and filter replacement and was quite tolerant of me hovering and asking questions (I don't know anything about furnaces). He even used my shop vac to clean up some dust/debris in the area (much of which wasn't actually from his work). I will use this company again for future furnace work. I didn't shop around for prices because this was the company the previous home owners had used/recommended, so I can't really comment on the price though I felt it was reasonable.

The service was great. They were extremely flexible with me. There was a time I had to run and get parts, and he was very understanding.

I was unpleased with them. When they came out to service my air conditioning unit they said it was all froze up. They were going to charge me a service charge. I said wait a minute, you're going to charge me for finding something - Isn't that part of the inspection service? They came back the next day and put in Freon. Last year I had a leak as well. They said they have a package deal where you can pay for checking for the leak and also for the Freon. But the Freon is charged as a rate from 1 pound to 3 pounds, there is a standard fee. I asked how much Freon did they put in and they said one pound and I said what about the other 2 pounds, I had to pay for that anyway? So I paid for something I didn't get. It was 95 degrees so I just said go ahead. They said they would schedule an inspection to come back and find the leak. They never came back. A month went by and they never showed up. I had to do something so I found another company who came out and fixed the problem. I called All Knight back up and asked them why didn't they come back out and they said they didn't know and would have to look at the file. I said you're really going to charge people for 3 pounds of Freon when they use only one, that's unethical. At the end of the day you got a bunch of money in your pocket and a bunch of Freon you can still sale. I told them to cancel my yearly contract and give me back my money for my winter service and they said they would get back to me. I've called them at least four times since then and they keep saying the file is on the desk and they haven't looked at it. You pay a yearly contract for them to come out and do the inspection and they want to charge you a service charge on top of that. I would not recommend them.

We have them come out to add freon because it is cheaper than purchasing a new A/C unit. They do a good job, come out very quickly, no complaints.

Great-would hire then again and will refer them to friends
