A 3 Aces Plumbing Drain Cleaning

I have to write this review because it was so extraordinary what they did. A neighbor of mine called them to schedule service as a new customer, saying they'd been referred by someone. The office manager tried to call my neighbor back but didn't have the phone number. So, knowing that I am in the neighborhood and could have referred the neighbor, they called me to see if I had the neighbor's phone number. I was so impressed with the level of effort and work that was put in to try to call a customer who needed service that I had to write this review. I use this plumber all the time when I need someone. They have always been so professional and the quality is top-notch.

They did really well. Identified the problem immediately and we are happy with the resolution. I will recommend and use them, again.

Awful! Plumber said my basement pipes were frozen. After about 15 minutes of convincing him that they were not frozen he realized that the problem was in the tank and fixed it He said I had a bad clog in the kitchen sink. He snaked it. Still a clog so he said frozen pipes. He put salt and hot water down my sink. Told me to wait 2 hours. If it didn’t drain I was supposed to call back and his manager would come out with a better snake. 2 hours later still clogged. I called and was told tre manager wouldn’t come out since the pipes were frozen. Over the next hour and a half the woman in the office spoke with the manager and myself. He said that calling another company wouldn’t do any good that I needed to wait for the pipes to thaw. Had a different company out today (15 degree day) and they had it draining within 5 minutes. This company was sent by my warranty company.

Excellent. They arrived on time and have been very patient with my questions and ideas. They explain procedures and challenges very clearly and are always respectful. They do high quality work and clean up after themselves. I highly recommend them.

Noticed some leaks in the ceiling of our downstairs closet (beneath our shower) and under the sink. Since I had been trying to deal with plumbing in both those spots, I figured it was me who had caused them and decided I should probably call in a professional this time to deal with them. Emailed A 3 Aces to ask about an estimate and they called back immediately and set up an appointment. The next day, they sent out Mike to do an estimate for me, and he quoted me $375 to take care of both spots. I asked if he could show up the next day, and we set a time for 9 to 11am. The next day, at 8:50, I got a call that he was on the way, and he showed up 15 minutes later, ready to work. He took care of the kitchen in no time, but realized once he got into the drain under the shower that the spot he thought it was leaking from wasn't correct, and that he was going to have to replace the shower drain entirely. It turns out that the pipe hooked up to our drain was being held on by a lead solder, and it was starting to pull away from the plastic pipe and leak (probably because I'd been rage-shoving a snake down that drain a week or two before) I asked if that was going to cost more, and he said, "No. It's a little more than I bargained for, but we don't do that...quote you one price and then change the price halfway through the job." Mike seemed like a total class act. He was kind, professional, did a good job explaining what needed done, and he seemed very concerned with getting the job done correctly. I found that I really trusted him and will certainly call him again the next time we need a plumber.

Mike was here on time, was professional, and quick. This is the only plumbing company I will use. I always ask for Mike.

The scheduling was great. They provided a two hour window for availability, and called when he was on the way to our home. He replaced the water line valves on all of our toilets - one was leaking, but they were all the same age, so we had them all replaced. And he replaced a supply lines to the tank. He worked on three toilets and was very quick. As always, Mike does high-quality work, and has concern for customer satisfaction. A 3 Aces Plumbing is our go-to plumber.

Mike came to fix my washing machine hookup. His work was done quickly and professionally. Was not to costly. Came the same day that I called him. He was great, I will use him again.

I called a handful of plumbers to fix a leaky kitchen sink. They were the first to return my call. He came to my house within a few hours of calling. The owner performed the work himself. He gave me a quote and suggested adding shut-off valves to the sink in addition to fixing the leak. I agreed, and he performed the work quickly. He was very personable and I enjoyed having him in my home. As well, he is proud of his craft and his workmanship was evident in the finished product. Though the price was a bit more than I would have thought the work would cost, I would use him again because I don't want to take chances on shoddy plumbing work. He explained to me that he is a licensed, certified plumber and that not all businesses send credentialed plumbers to the jobs. He feels it is important that someone who is properly credentialed should do the work. So maybe you pay a bit more for that, but it's worth it.

He worked after the traditional hours and made himself available when we needed him. I really like this plumber, his prices are a little expensive but he is well worth it.

The plumber (I believe it is a husband, wife, and the husband's brother who own this small company?) was able to come out the day we called to do an estimate, unlike a few other companies we called, and when we called back to schedule work after recieving other estimates was able to come the next morning. He was there for probably an hour and a half. So far, so good - no problems with the gas! He was very helpful and friendly. He came back after our appliances were delivered to connect the gas range, and took away our old appliances to give to needy families rather than having the big box store our new ones came from send them to the junkyard. We ended up having a plumbing issue the night before he came back out - when trying to disconnect the old dishwasher, the very old shutoff supply valve started leaking; he was there about an hour to fix that and do the gas connection. He replaced the supply valve for us and did not charge us for the parts or his time, which he said was a "gift" for our new house and for donating all our old appliances. We will be calling A3ces Plumbing again with any problems in the future.
