I made the absolute right decision going with Yard Right [Y.R.]! Mark and his son Matt were great! Mark & crew showed up on the appointed day, even though a crew member quit that same morning, worked all day, and was consistent regarding this work ethic for the duration of the project. Initially Mark estimated that the job would take 4 days, but because he had one less employee, for the first few days, the project took almost 7days. While Y.R. did manage to get additional help for two days, even short handed they never miss a beat. Along the way, I decided that I wanted stepping stones from the walking paths to the backyard, wood timber to trim around the back shed fencing, moving several boulders to accent the new pathways, etc.. Although the extra items pushed the final cost over my initial budget, it was well worth it. For the services rendered, it was great value for the money! I really appreciated that Mark did the work himself. Several owners indicated they’d send their workers and would come out to oversee the work, which I wasn’t comfortable with. But Mark was here each and every day and was fully engaged in the work, from the first shovel to the last brick. And talk about keeping his composure under pressure—having to deal with my ideas and changes, or watching my pup eat part of a crew member’s lunch, or mashing his finger when we were hunting for stepping stones—whatever it was, Mark kept going with a smile and good spirit. On the last day, he even picked up cinder blocks for me for another project only to find that they were the wrong blocks and then had to drive back across town to return them. This guy is as good as gold!! My next door neighbor who does his own brick work commented on what a great job Mark had done, as has several of my other neighbors. I’m very happy with the work that was done. I would definitely hire Yard Right Landscaping LLC again for landscaping work.

Great! There were several trees and bushes that had gotten overgrown and we needed them either trimmed or removed.

The pricing was good for what he did. I would use him again - sure.

It went GREAT! They did the work in phases to suit our schedules, over several weeks, finishing on 8/2/2016. Mark and his crew were always on time and worked very hard the entire time on-site. They were very meticulous in their work and always went the extra mile to make us happy. The difference in our back yard is literally night and day. Before, it was a dirt/rock/weed-filled area. Now it is an inviting space that anyone would want to enjoy. We are thrilled!

The job went very well and the crew was efficient. I couldn't be happier with their work.

Mark came out 3 times before we agreed on an estimate. He helped determine some specifications which reduced the final cost of the project. He was very professional and helpful at all times, arrived on time and completed the work on schedule. About 6 weeks after completion we noticed a water puddle forming at the base of the steps from our deck to the walkway due to the settling of the slope of the pavers. I sent Mark and email with a picture of the problem. He contacted me the next day and came out that day or the next and reset the pavers so the water drained to the yard. We were very impressed with the quality of his work and with his willingness to return and make the job right. We would not hesitate to hire Mark Smith of Yard Right Landscaping LLC again for landscaping work.

Mark arrived on the date and time as agreed. He looked at the work I wanted him to price for me and shared this may be a little out of his ability to provide for me and shared a recommendation of the person I ultimately used to remove these trees. I will consult Mark in the future for work which is more suited for his company.

We were desperate to get our front lawn fixed in time to list our house for sale. Every other landscaper said either that the job was too small or could not be scheduled for another month. Mark squeezed us in and got the job done professionally and on time. We are very pleased.

Mark and his crew always do a fantastic job. I've lost count of how many years I've used their service. I always receive a return phone call within 48 hours of reaching out (leaving a voicemail message). Mark makes an effort to "squeeze" me in as early in the season as possible. Since I work from home, I have an opportunity to see when they arrive and depart. The work is done efficiently and everyone is friendly. My front and back yards look great every year. I'm always so impressed that I take an annual picture. In recent years, I've use this service provider for spring/fall clean up only, but Yard Righ Landscaping did all of the landscaping for me (both front yard and around back patio) for a reasonable price a few years ago. I also used Yard Right Landscaping for poison ivy removal last summer/fall.

Communication from Mark was excellent and he kept me updated. After his estimate, he was able to schedule the work for the following week. The price was very reasonable. The step is now safe and secure.

Mark and the team were impressive from the start. The team worked extremely hard in the heat to get the job done on schedule. Their work was high quality and we were extremely happy with the end result. Mark was very thorough outlining the project plan and the anticipated schedule. His prices were reasonable and stayed on budget. He worked with us to make modifications to the original plan and was always available for any questions. We would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them for any future projects.

I am so happy! Mark and his team did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier. I explained to him during the initial meeting what I would like done. You can tell he has many years of experience. My project turned out more beautiful than I ever imagined:) He kept the communication flowing with me throughout the process. His employees were very friendly and professional. Looks beautiful! Front looks crisp and clean and so much better! The backyard is ready for grilling and swimming! Mark and his crew arrived right on time and got to work. In replanting front landscape, he moved around some of the existing perennials to a better spot. I really appreciated him working around some of the landscape that was already there and recycling it to other areas. We would definitely use Mark and his crew again and highly recommend him!

Mark was a pleasure to work with. From the estimate to the completion of work he was very personable, prompt & efficient. As a new homebuyer there were many plants I was not sure about removing/keeping as the yard was very overgrown and had not been tended to for at least 6-8 months. Mark took his time explaining what each plant was & the benefit of keeping it vs. ripping it out (like I was planning on doing to everything). We were able to schedule within a week of the estimate. His team came out & did a fantastic job. I hardly recognized the house when I drove by. The new neighbors even commented what a difference it was! Mark even came out the following day to re-trim some rose bushes that were a hazard for backing out of the driveway. Additionally he referred a lawn care company to us as the yard will definitely need some treatment. His referral called us to provide information about their services & see exactly what we needed. Overall Mark & his team did a tremendous job refreshing our new yard and the house looks great! Look forward to using them again in the future and would definitely recommend them to our friends. I didn't dislike anything. I like typically they responded and let me out to give me an estimate and how quickly they scheduled me. They did a thorough and nice job. I would use them again in the future.

I did have to follow-up a few days for the estimate but in fairness it was the busiest time of the year and Mark did come right out to look at the yard. I felt he was very professional and provided the estimate in a reasonable amount of time. When I got the estimate it was consistent with what we had discussed and fair. Mark and his crew removed boxwood stumps from side yard and lessened the slope of the yard so he could replace stone walkway and then seeded. Also shortened front flower beds and repotted some plants. Also reseeded and did an excellent job of weaving in the seeding with the mature yard. Mulched and edged flower beds. Agreed to additional mulching of recently self-weeded back yard for minimal extra which I really appreciated. I would definitely use again.

They were very responsive from the first call. Called back the same day. I had an estimate within 2 days and the work was done the following week. They were on time and professional.

Thjs is the 3rd time I have used Yard Right for clean up services in my yard and they always do an excellent job. They have done both the front garden and the back yard now and I've been pleased each time. They are always right on time, friendly, hard working, and do the job right. For the services rendered, it is good value for the money. I consider them my landscaping/yard service now and have referred them to others.

The beds look extremely nice and new, weed-free grass is taking hold. Nimbleweek in an older lawn is really stubborn to get rid of, so conquering it took two summers. Mark stuck with it until It appears to be pretty much licked. His workers are always courteous and thorough. Mark is easy to communicate with and has great follow-up. If he couldn't be here at pre-arranged time, he always called to keep me up to date.

Mark is personable and professional. He was flexible and provided a complete estimate within a few days of visiting my home. He arrived when expected but was rained out. He and crew returned early next day to complete the work. He clarified questions that arose when doing the job and kept me in the loop regarding plans to complete work when it started to rain.

They came out and took a look and said it would be no problem. They tore down all the brick and removed all of it. They then laid out sod in that area. It looks wonderful. They did it all in one afternoon.
