They were on time and professional. Everything they said they were going to do they did. Their price was very fair.

They did a grate job and I have had no problems with them. I would recommend them to anyone. They cleaned up well after they were done. They had a pretty good price.

My experience with him was beautiful. They were on time. They were very professional. They did their job. Not only did their install a new sump pump they also installed new window wells for the basement. They cleaned up behind themselves. They let me know each thing they were doing and why. Their price was very reasonable.

Most everything went well. It took about a week to finish. Workers were respectful of my wishes. They cleaned up after themselves daily. The time was extended because of inspections. Where work was not done to my satisfaction, the workers immediately corrected the problem. The basement is beautiful and guaranteed for life.

It went quickly and well. The workers completed the job in about 3 days. They cleaned up after themselves each day. They displayed a high regard for our property and family.

Did not do the work because their estimate was more than $1000.00 higher than the company I chose to perform the job. They also wanted to include installing a drain along a second wall that was not experiencing water damage. This may have contributed to their higher price.

Both my husband and I felt the representative was a little too salesman. What he quoted us for the work was expensive and we weren't really sure that the price was really correct. We ended up determining there was no foundation problems. We never ended up contacting the basement company again.

After crawling into and spending a fair amount of time in the crawl space, he said there was no need for any waterproofing work. He explained that the dampness was not an indication of a problem with standing water, and what he saw was expected and normal in a crawl space, especially with as much rain we'd had recently. I was very appreciative of his honesty and his explanation.

Estimate was very high. They also wanted to add another sump pump to our basement which we did not agree with.

We had a pleasant and professional experience with the guys who gave us an estimate and the guys who did the work. Rob, the foreman, was exceptionally helpful in answering our questions throughout the project.

Overall the project was far more superior than what I expected. It started with a free estimate and design consolation of our basement. We went over different ideas and suggestions for the basement and financial options. Members of their team were constantly in contact with us, communicating the process and what to expect. After the financing was settled, The Basement Guys/Tuxedo team came back out to do a final walk through of our basement one last time before the renovation was started. Everyone was on the same page and they started the next day. The team always showed up to the house on time, they were very polite and clean and just overall respectful of our home. They did a majority of their dirty work (like painting, cutting, etc.) at their own facility, in order to keep our home clean, which was great! Each day we could see the basement beginning to finalize. By the 6th workday, we had a finished basement! The process was amazing! I recommend this product/system to everyone!

They gave us a very long presentation that we didn't really need. He went on and on. We did not use their services.

I chose to go with a smaller company for a simpler job and lower cost. However, Victor (sales/foundation inspector) did a good job providing education on the problems and the possible solutions.

We had a concrete patio slab that was sinking and allowing water to run back against the foundation of the house. We had it removed, but our basement wall had bowed 3/4 inch, and we needed to have it shored up and sealed. The Basement Guys arrived and thoroughly assessed our situation and told us that we should shore up a second wall (that has a minor crack) and install their waterproofing system. The price tag was around $13,000. They explained that this system would be the best solution to our problem. Though it was Trick or Treat night and we told them we could give them only one hour, they were determined to stay as long as possible to wear us down. When one of them asked, "Can we have your business tonight?" I was totally turned off. It was like buying a used car. It was evident that the sale was more important than my needs as a customer. Even though my wife and I both stood, they remained seated. I finally had to tell them to leave. We went with another company and spent $1850.

We had some water leakage in a corner of our basement and a musty smell we suspected represented a larger problem. We got 3 estimates in the same price range but the Basement Guys offered some additional safeguards and finishing touches. The crew did a good job covering and protecting furniture, fixtures and surfaces; carefully rolled back carpeting; and were careful moving stone and debris out of the basement and bringing cement in to reseal the floor. They explained what they were doing as they went along and showed us where they found problems related to drainage failures in the old pipes and weep holes. They showed us how their solution would work and how all of the equipment installed worked. They did a good job cleaning up after completing the work. They were courteous and friendly. The work they did is guaranteed for the life of the house.

I had "The Basement Guys" come out to do an estimate, they were really friendly and descriptive of everything that was wrong with my basement. It is an old house, 1920s, and I needed a basement wall rebuilt, and part of another one. Their solution was to rip off my concrete front porch just so they could get their big machines in to dig down to the footer. The final estimate was well over $50,000. Every other concrete/ basement company that came out offered other solutions like, extracting the old block by hand and digging by hand down to the footer. I eventually had the job done for close to $5000 (a huge difference). Be very weary of this company. I checked the address and this is the right company, so they can't say I mixed up their name with another company. Just beware.

They were nice to work with. The inspector that first came out was great. Then we had to move our schedule date a few times and Kara in the office was easy to work with. On the job itself, the foreman really tried to keep us informed on what was going on. The total cost of the job was less than two other companies.

The Basement Guys arrived at the stated time, and finished the work in a timely fashion. They cleaned up the work area when they were finished. I had a concern when the work was finished. I contacted them with my concern, and they returned the next morning and corrected it to my satisfaction. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work. Doug Secrest was my contact and he was very easy to work with and explained everything they were going to do before the work. Great job!

They were easy to work with and answered all of the questions that I had.

The job was done in one day. Wall preparation was done with a dustless grinder. All trash and equipment was removed the same day. A return trip a couple of days later was only to remove the strap cover tape and to perform some cosmetic caulking.

Luke showed up on time and started by going into the basement and taking all the measurements and beginning to come up with a plan for my home. He used a state of the art computer program to show me all the potential that my basement has. He then worked with me on how this could become a reality. I am very pleased with the estimate I received and feel that I will be upgrading my home with a great product.

I got several estimates from companies in the area. The guy from The Basement Guys was honest and very informative of what was needed and how the process would go. Shortly after I signed the agreement I was contacted to schedule the work in a timely manner. Once the the work started I met the entire crew. Each person was pleasant to work with and respectful of my property. The supervisor, Nick, kept me informed throughout the process.

They were willing to answer any questions that I had, they were trustworthy and felt comfortable with the 3-4 men that were in my house and they were very professional. They gave us a lifetime warranty.

They came out and did a rough estimate, but then they completely ignored me.

The supervisor reviewed the job prior to starting and outlined the work to be done. They were very considerate of keeping the dust and noise down, as much as possible. They had to work overtime, but finished nearly on-time. They have to return to complete exterior work, but made sure we were satisfied with the interior work that was done. They were very friendly and polite, and did the work that was requested. I would highly recommend them for anyone else.
