+ 0 moreHe has cost me at least $30,000. If you can get his brother on a job,,,,he is honest, fair and can really paint....hire him, but his brother is a crook. I learned that if any contractor needs a deposit for supplies...purchase them for them...also...make sure they dont steal your paint and dont leave your tools around.
Description of Work: Roy painted a house of mine and did a good job - not great but good. His brother was the person who actually can paint. They had a falling out and no longer work with each other. In the meantime, I trusted Roy and contacted him to do three other jobs for me. He required a deposit on each to purchase paint, etc. He took the money and did not perform the work. But instead of just completely bailing, he chose to delay the projects with so many excuses as to why he could not do the work, that it costs me months of delays n getting these houses on the market.

+ -1 moreI liked that they were flexible, efficient, and personable. They had a good personality. I don't think that there were any dislikes. They did a couple touch ups. They owe me a couple spots of work. They are good priced, and reliable.

+ -1 moreHorrible....he is a liar and a cheat and a con man...do not believe him. Roy will low-ball a bid, take your deposit and never show for work. He will do just enough to make you think he is ok....giving about every excuse one can imagine....do not use this person.Kirkpatrick Painting, Roy or Chuck or Charles, All Home Painting - they may by all of these names.They also lie about their location. 102 Liberty St, Columbus, OH 43215 is not a valid address...he bluntly told me that he uses that address to make people think they have a real office. I think this is actually a warehouse they used to rent. He also does business in Florida and Tennessee.... As of this writing...he has not given me my deposit back and had refused to give me information so I can do a 1099 for him. Obviously scamming more than his clients. I have given him until Friday to re=pay the deposit...if he pays it I will update this review to reflect that.
Description of Work: THey did not wall paper for me....but they were contracted to paint. They quoted the job to include prep - which included removal of wall paper and repair of seams from new dry wall....they painted over the wall paper, they did shoddy dry wall work - I had to bring in someone to do the work. And never completed the paint job...walked with my deposit on three properties. They started the work on one and never finished and completely abandoned another. Roy jerked me around for 4-8 months on these houses resulting in months of delays in getting properties completed. WIll low ball the work to get it and will spend the deposit.
