Jamie the owner came out and quoted removal of a chimney, replace wood and apply torch down, then silver coat entire low pitch and flat areas. This work was quoted and completed despite 4 Guys being in their busiest season,which altered the schedule somewhat. Jamie is professional and offered up advice which was appreciated. I expect to get other estimates for future projects.

I feel that the team did an excellent job replacing the vents and the clean-up was immaculate. I will definitely call 4 Guys and a Roof again should I have another issue with my roof.

The entire process was very efficient. The entire job took one day, even though it was a major job and they finished close to dark. The large crew worked very well together and seemed to be very competent and supported each other during the process. Clearly this is a professional company that deserves a great rating.

4 days after the roof was installed there was a day of heavy wind and rain and i had water coming through the ceiling in my dining room and all 3 walls of the garage were soaked with water running down them. When I called to complain they first tried to blame it on "extreme" weather conditions. They finally agreed to send someone to look at both roofs. They told me they could not find anything wrong with the garage roof and they re-flashed the chimney. The next time it rained I had water coming in again. I had to call in a home inspector to review the job and they found issues with both the garage and the house. Only when I presented the owner with the inspectors report did the company agree to make the necessary repairs. I had the roof inspected after the repairs were made and this time the work passed inspection. I have not had any additional issues with either roof now that the repairs have been completed. I am now working with them to get the damage to the inside of my house repaired.

Good communication for a bit then there was a slight breakdown. We kept missing each other and did all our business over the messaging system here on Angies list. I did not know they had come out and performed the service until I asked a couple weeks later when they could do the work. They called and explained the work was already done and no major problems were detected. Good news but I did have a water spot on my ceiling and wanted to talk to the folks doing the job. All ended well as the service seems to have taken care of whatever was leaking. I would suggest leaving a receipt on the door handle after performing the work. Still a positive experience.

Jamie is a pleasure to work with. Initially I called for a quote and he answered the phone himself, took the necessary information needed to provide an estimate, and sent it via email the next morning. Even though I really wanted to business with 4 Guys, we took the time to obtain two other estimates. 4 Guys offered not only the most competitive price, but the speediest installation as well as the best warranty. Our complete tear-off and installation was done within just a few hours. Many neighbors commented on how impressed they were by the efficiency of the crew. Clean up was good. We did find some pieces of metal in the yard but I think that is to be expected. I know they used a magnet to clean up as many nails/metal fragments as possible. We also had a glitch with our gutters that was quickly handled by Jamie. Our gutter dividers were inadvertently thrown away during the tear-off, so he had a gotter company fabricate new ones for us. Apparently there was some miscommunication between Jamie's project manager and the gutter fabricator which caused a delay in our receiving the new dividers. When I made Jamie aware that we were still without them during the torrential rains we were receiving, he saw to it that the problem was taken care of immediately. The next day Jamie's crew leader and gutter crew were at the house and the job was D-O-N-E. I believe Jamie takes pride in his company, strives to make sure work is done to the customer's satisfaction, and wants people to be happy with their beautiful new Owens Corning roof. I highly recommend 4 Guys and a Roof. They work like a well-oiled machine.

Guys showed up timely and certainly hustled to get the job done. They were mindful to not ruin any landscaping. Would highly recommend.

Crew did a great job, worked very fast, clean-up was thorough, the roof looks great! I was concerned about the rain the previous week causing a delay but they showed up the day they said they would. We have a 3700 sqft home with three peaks to the roof, they finished in under two days! Jamie responded promptly to all of my questions via e-mail and I appreciated his professionalism. I talked to his crew a few times throughout the install and they were all very polite and professional as well. I would recommend this crew to anyone.

Jamie was very professional to talk with. The price quoted was fairly close to the actual cost. Of course since I had a very old roof extra work had to be done ,which I expected. His crew showed up on time and worked hard. They also were very courteous and professional. My only complaint would be that during the installation process boards were knocked off the roof peaks in the front and back of the house. I sent three letters to the company, one was with my payment, also left a phone message, asking for advice on who I could contact to have this fixed. I didn't know if this was part of the roofers job, or another company. Unfortunately, I never received any correspondence back. That is the only reason I did not give all A ratings. A response would have been nice and professional.

I contacted 4 Guys about repairing some issues that an inspector found when we were selling our house. Jaime contacted me right away and scheduled the job. They repaired all the items I asked and even fixed a piece of loosing siding on the side of the house. They did an excellent job matching the missing shingles, I couldn't tell a difference. Very happy on how this went. I'll be using them again.

I bought a "check up" on Angie's list. The check up showed that the chimney and boots needed to be addressed. Was not surprised with this news! This was easier and cheaper than replacing the roof! I appreciated their communication and the speed of which the problems were addressed!

Jaime came out to complete the big deal package I purchased for minor maintenance. I have a leak going from the roof through the 2nd floor ceiling and he was able to diagnose the issue without ever having to get up on the roof. While the package I purchased won't cover the repairs I need, he did leave me with an estimate and I was very happy with our interaction. Jaime was very professional, knowledgable, friendly and fair in his pricing. I would recommend him to anyone needing roof work.

I called 4 Guys for a leaky roof that has been plaguing me for over 3 years -- since I bought this house. I've had various roofers and other contractors out to try to identify and fix the problem -- to no avail. After several thousand dollars, I now have an infrequent leak versus a constant water problem -- which is an improvement, but not a long term solution.Jamie diagnosed the problem just by listening to my explanation. His diagnosis sounds spot on, and I intend to act on his recommendations. He probably saved me another thousand dollars. Although the verdict is still out on whether the solution will ultimately solve the problem, I cannot say enough for the customer service Jamie provided. Due to his experience and expertise, Jamie immediately recognized the symptions and was willing to provide his opinion of what was causing the leak, and how I could fix it myself. He did this at no charge to me. That is rare, and it is something I won't forget next time I need to hire a roofer. I'm glad this company realizes that good customer service absolutely pays off in the end.

They diagnosed the issue and while they don't offer that service they referred me to someone who does. Excellent experience - would use them again!!

This company is absolutely awesome! Did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. Everyone was very professional and we've never seen a group of guys as hard-working and diligent as they were. Only wish we could give them a rating higher than A.

We could not be happier. Our neighbors commented how impressed they were with how fast the job was done. We had a minor issue that needed fix after the job and someone came out immediately and fixed it. Great company. Very reasonable cost compared to others.

The service was excellent. We love the roof. They had it done in basically 1 day. He responded to my concerns after the service. They did a great job. It was a very good experience. I would recommend them.

Jason and his crew did a great job removing old roof and installing a new one. Cleanup was also exceptional. Very professional. 4 Guys and a Roof will be my first call for any future roofing needs.

Jamie responded immediately to our first inquiry and scheduled an estimate right away. He came out promptly to give us an estimate and was very thorough, friendly and professional. We had several other estimates and decided to go with 4 Guys. The job was delayed because of weather but they started on the first available day - Saturday. The materials were dropped off and set on our roof on Friday. The crew showed up promptly early in the morning Saturday and the complete tear off was finished in about an hour. The foremen Mike and Jay were very courteous and attentive and the entire crew was professional, polite and hard working. The job was completed very quickly by early afternoon on Saturday. Some follow-up work was necessary and Mike came out to finish up on Monday. The dumpster was not removed until Monday, which was less than ideal - and there were a few other minor issues - but Mike and Jay and Jamie all did everything they could to make everything right. Over all the job was done very well and very quickly and painlessly for us. Jamie is VERY friendly and accommodating and energetic and he will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. We are very pleased with our experience with 4 Guys and a Roof and we recommend them highly.

Roofing crew did a great job. They went above and beyond to do the job the right way. Gutters and down spout crew, a sub-contractor, did a very good job also. My only complaint, and this is why I did not rate the company A across the board, was with the owner. Yes he returns call, yes he responds to problems. What is lacking in my opinion is communication from him as to when things are planned to happen. Example: The gutter crew came 10-12 days after the roofing crew finished. I called 4 Guys owner after one week and was told the crew would be starting soon but could not get a firm date. We were never contacted by 4 Guys and the gutter company came without notice. We have large dogs that would have damaged our home if my wife had not been home at the time. I call 4Guys about this and voiced my displeasure with the lack of communication.

This is a great outfit. They were always prompt about returning calls. They answered all questions we had. They were such a great team working together, very friendly yet also very professional and courteous at all times. They were very helpful with any needs while they were working here. They did a SUPER JOB ! They protected all of our shrubs and cleaned up everything extremely well. We were very, very pleased with their work and always recommend them to anyone looking to have their roof repaired or replaced.

Good deal. My roof was checked via Google earth and company reported roof was to steep to qualify for the deal.

Said my roof doesn't met the qualifications of the Big Deal.
