Scott was very nice and diligent. He was done in no time at all.

Jeff showed up exactly on time. He explained who he was and what he was here to do. When he looked at the valleys on the roof he said he could blow them clean while up on the roof. He was very conscientious and thorough. He even took off a few gutter guards to get the tree debris that was entrenched in the openings. Once Jeff was done on the roof he cleaned off the sidewalks and deck of the debris that had collected from cleaning the gutters. He described in general the kind of work the company does and I wouldn't hesitate to use Chore Chaser again when the time comes.

WoW!!!! Scott did an AWESOME job repairing my fence. He made several excellent suggestions. He's so friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first job with ChoreChasers. I just couldn't be happier. I am looking forward to using them on several upcoming projects. I will be requesting Scott!! :-)

It went very well. Mark did a great job. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. He had to crawl into a very small place to secure the hardware to hold the swing. I was very happy with the outcome.

Everything went very well and promptly performed. I highly recommend Chore Chaser. I have used them five times now.

The first time in November Scott came and installed a ceiling ladder in our garage. He went above and beyond in installing it as it was bigger than the hole the original ladder was in. He also did various other jobs for us. He was very courteous and worked efficiently to get the jobs done. I had Scott come out two more times for jobs and he was on time and professional every time. I recommended Chore Chaser - Scott to two other people and he did work for them also and they loved him. I would recommend him every time someone needs work done.

This is the second time Dave from ChoreChaser has sent Jeff to my home. I could not be happier with their service. Dave always responds very promptly and sets up an appointment. They are very dependable. Jeff was on time. He came in and removed his shoes, got down to work and finished the jobs in a very timely manner. He then cleaned up the mess completely and disposed of all trash. He also is very polite and friendly. He gave me some suggestions to make my TV more enjoyable, which is an extra bonus that he did not have to do. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable. I feel they always give me a very fair price for the work they do. They will certainly be my first choice when I need a handyman again. I am extremely happy in this day & age to find a company that is completely customer oriented and goes an extra mile to do an excellent job!

Worked with Scott. He was great!! This Company is highly recommended especially for single females out there that do not have the talent to fix things around the house. No job is too small....Larry even fixed a drawer in my vanity that had fallen apart. If your like me, its hard to get someone to come and for small jobs. I will be using them often!!

To the CC staff reading this: Don't contact me about this review. Don't offer me my money back. The above story needs to be publicly displayed so that potential customers know what they're getting themselves into. Too Long Didn't Read: I absolutely wasted my money with this agency and will never use them again. I will go out of my way to ensure everyone I know, knows not to hire them. Ever. Long story: I hired ChoreChaser for two jobs after seeing their straight A feedback here on Angie's. I feel that I can give them no higher of a rating than D, and it probably should be an F for the one job. And maybe a C for the other job. The first job was assembling one of those outdoor cedar playsets for my daughter. CC assured me that they had assembled these before and that it would be no problem. A date was set for a one man job at $30 per hour. CC called a couple days later and recommended a two man crew to assemble it quicker, but of course at $30 per worker. So $60 per hour! Now, the price would be a wash: Either one man at 16 hours, or two men at 8 hours. End cost would be the same. Fine. That sky-high cost should have been my first warning. However, I wanted this job done and I don't have the time to do it, so I agreed. Again, they have straight A reviews, so I was hoping for, and expecting, awesome work. The guys came out. They were 10 minutes late. Whatever, no big deal. While they proceeded to work for the entire day, my playset was not fully assembled and what was completed is some of the sloppiest, most incomplete, haphazard, unsafe work I have ever seen. Large portions of the playset were installed crookedly. Lock washers were used maybe 20% of the time. On my daughter's captain's swing, nuts were not used AT ALL and I found the bolt almost completely backed out. Had that dislodged and my daughter fell, CC would have a lawsuit on their hands. I have hundreds of extra fasteners sitting in my garage that they somehow managed not to use. Most of these are lockwashers. I understand that mfg's will often include extra parts, but not entire, full baggies. The more important areas of the playset, that received machine screws and nuts... they all require lockwashers. Since they're exposed, you can see plain as day where the crew decided to slip one on, and where they didn't. The playset includes a small rock-climbing wall assembled of cedar planks. The entire assembly is crooked and jig-sawed. The playset has two decorative trellis-style gables. They were both hideously crooked. The rock wall was fastened where the slide goes, forcing me to install the slide where the wall goes. All in all, I am hugely disappointed in the work performed. However, if I have to give them one benefit of the doubt, it is this: They didn't finish the job as they "had to be done by 4pm." Therefore, they didn't have time to go back and clean up their rough work, as any carpenter may do after the rough job is complete. Unfortunately, my total bill was $447 for an incomplete job (after being told, "I can't see how we won't get this done in one day. There are two of us (paraphrased)"). And what work was performed was terrible. For $447, I should have received accurate, complete, highly professional work. Instead, I received sloppy nonsense. Final grade? D, if only for the outrageous cost I was charged. The quote was not representative of the work performed. I could have paid a kid off the street $150 to assemble this playset with more accuracy and professionalism than what I received. Meanwhile, I had another CC laborer come out for a quote on installing a man door in an aluminum-sided pole building. This guy seemed much more "with it" and his quote was very reasonable, offsetting the atrocity that was the playset quote. We agreed on an afternoon time on a date the following week. He called "morning of" and wanted to cancel because of threat of rain and he didn't want to use power tools in the rain. Okay, fine, though most of the work would be inside the building. He asked if he could reschedule. I advised that I would call him back. I reckon he sensed he'd be losing a contract as he called back maybe an hour later and asked if he could do the inside work today and, if it rained, finish the outside portion later. I agreed to this, because again, it's a job I have wanted done for years. In his defense, he did "finish" the job in an afternoon, but it was sloppy. I wanted him to use lumber I had sitting here for the rough framing and an old door frame that I had found to keep costs and trips to Lowe's to a minimum. What I didn't know, was that the door jamb was cracked near the knob, rendering it useless. It was junk. I didn't know that, but I'm sure he saw it during installation. He should have told me, "Hey this jamb is unsafe." I would have opted for new wood. The rest of the framing features screws that aren't countersunk into the wood, leaving the heads exposed and the screw slots rounded out. After he left (and I decided I was going to reframe the entire thing myself), I was able to simply pull the door out of the jamb with one hand, snapping the wood into pieces. I literally walked up to it, put my hand on the knob, and pulled the entire thing apart. Seriously. Now, I can't completely fault him for all this as he stated it was going to be "a quick and dirty job" which I agreed to, but really... what is the point of the work if it needs completely redone? I spent an entire day building a new jamb and, reenforcing his rough framing and installing final trim. Basically, what it boiled down to, is I paid him $255 to cut a hole in the building, as I re-did everything else he performed. Final grade: C+. Loose, sloppy work, but I kind of agreed to it. However, he is a very nice guy that I reckon can perform much better work, if more time and money was allowed. Him wanting to reschedule irked me, though.

I emailed ChoreChaser to get an estimate for installing a handrail going up the steps to my house. I sent pictures because the area in question is mostly concrete and I assumed may be difficult to work with. They called me back within the hour. Very professional. Explained that my job was a little out of their area of expertise, they would need to drill into concrete to install a railing. They recommended someone else that they thought would be able to do the job. I was very pleased with the experience. I have a lot of odd jobs that need done around the house and I will definitely keep them in mind for these future jobs!

From making the appointment to having all the work done ChoreChaser was very professional, punctual, friendly and economical. Scott performed all the maintenance and even shopped for the proper replacement faucet sets for two sinks. All the work was done on time and I am very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend ChoreChaser and will definitely hire them again. The amount I paid for all this work is very reasonable.

I called Chore Chasers to provide an estimate. They were booked and could not come right away, In the meantime, I called another handyman and scheduled the job sooner, and completely forgot to cancel the estimate appt. with Chore Chasers. Chore Chasers came on time as scheduled. It took a min or two to realize I had scheduled this appt and forgot to cancel. The gentleman who drove all the to Akron from Canton was understanding. I would call on Chore Chasers again based upon their reliability and good nature in dealing with my mistake.

Really great job...showed up early, got right to work and finished in less than 2 hours a job that would have taken me all weekend. Will definitely hire again.

.I had sent a message the night before and the owner called me early the next morning and promptly set up an appt. They called and came to my place on time. The person sent was clean, polite, efficient and honest. He actually took off his shoes when entering and cleaned up very well when he was finished. He gave me a very honest opinion of what would need to be done and was in constant communication with the owner and the owner called me and also kept me informed. He ended up getting my old conditioner working, which I felt was extremely honest. He informed me of every step and kept to the estimate I was quoted. He was very respectful. I hope to always use ChoreChasers in the future. I am extremely happy with Angie's list and ChoreChasers.

These guys quote it, and perform the work, before I can get other handymen to even return my call. They do quality work, and respond fast.

After a few scheduling problems, they came out and repaired the deck quickly and efficiently. Cleanup could have been better - there was a box of spilled nails under the deck and scrap wood in the grass I had to pick up before the lawn mower got them.

The young lady who answered the phone and set up the appointment was both pleasant and professional. Both men, Scott and Jeff, were very prompt, friendly, and professional. They actually estimated and finished the work on the same day. I felt the price they charged was very fair. In fact they did some work they didn't even charge me for. They did an excellent job and I did not feel as if I had been ripped off as I had felt with previous repairs done by other companies I had hired to do work for me. I would highly recommend this company for any repairs I need in the future and in fact have recommended them to my Sister who will have them repair a sink for her tomorrow.

Prompt arrival for both estimating and doing actual job. Fantastic disposition on both visits. The faucets were over 10 years old, so there was varying degrees of corrosion and build up. A few really required a lot of attention. 2 lines provided with the faucets were not long enough, so he had to go and purchase additional lines. Installed all and immediate improvement to water pressure, no dripping, and no leaks. He advised us to monitor for a week to make sure no leaks had begun - none have after over a month of use. The water filter replacement went without incident, no leaking, and immediate improvement to water quality. The old one had a leak so had to be bypassed, and having this new one installed is an improvement. The ceiling fan wobbled and made a noise - was unsure whether it was even fixable (it had not been really usable for over 3 years). Somehow he managed to get it secured and no wobbling (and done so without jamming any cardboard or wood into gaps). The dryer door reversal was made more challenging due to a mostly stripped screw. He was able to get the screw off, reverse door, and replace. Overall about 7 hours of work, and even with the added challenges of needing to go to hardware store for new lines and some difficult faucets, original estimate was honored. Work done fantastic, everything cleaned up, debris and old parts disposed of - exceptional work ethic and work quality. Would (and will) absolutely use again - have already identified additional work outside (for warmer and less wet days).

I haven't seen the job in person yet so I reserve the right to revoke this feedback as I see fit. I saw photos of the before and after job. it looks great now that the gutter have been replaced and the carport have been fixed. the address plaques looks great attached to the house too.

I have never been more impressed and relaxed at someone coming into my home whom I had not met prior to their arrival. Chore Chaser is undoubtedly the BEST at meeting all of your needs! Scott called in advance giving me the opportunity to put my dogs away as I did not want them in his way. When he found that I needed an additional part to finish the work, he graciously went out of his way and got the part for me. Scott is very kind, energetic and considerate. He completed all the jobs to perfection. One thing that shocked me, was when Scott arrived he gave me a goodie bag from Chore Chaser. Scott arrived punctually and had our work finished quite promptly. Scott's work was outstanding; he took great care to remove the old caulk and apply the new material. When he had finished, he made sure the work was done to our satisfaction. We will be most happy to have Scott back for other improvements we may want to make in future. In summary, working with Chore Chaser has been a smooth and enjoyable process.

After previously dealing with lazy people and poor workmanship, along with overpricing, I finally found Chorechaser who know what they are doing and do it without gouging the consumer. I did ask them to do some electrical work, and they suggested a professional electrician for what I needed. I found these people to be efficient and ethical, and do highly recommend them.

He was on time, very personable and friendly. He got the job done and checked other pieces of nearby siding and fastened those as well. I won't hesitate to call again the next time we need help. Great service!
