+ -1 morePrior to calling Savings Liquid Waste we had called an emergency plumber for a backup in our basement drain. They advised us our septic was full and had to immediately be drained. At 9PM on Saturday my husband confirmed an appt for the next morning at 8 AM. Turns out the plumber was wrong, our septic was not too full. However Savings Liquid Waste was able to clear out our pipe AND found and removed the clog. We appreciated their immediate turnaround and the willingness to go above and beyond to fix our issue.

+ -1 moreThey had the best price around and were able to work with my schedule. I had questions about the symptoms my system was experiencing and wanted to discuss them with the operator. Matt had finished a little earlier than I could get home. He waited for me and went over what he had done and what I would need to do in the future for maintaining my system. He was very helpful and informative. I had no idea septic systems had changed so much in the last 15 years.

Description of Work: Driver showed up exactly when he said he would. The pumping and cleaning were performed methodically and very much to my satisfaction. They are now the only vendor for my septic tank pumping and maintenance needs. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: I've waited to write the following in my hope the company would rectify the damage done upon the completion of their work. |First, the company did an exemplary job of pumping the septic tank. My review should be, and would have been, an "A". |However, upon leaving their truck knocked down a corner of the stone wall along the driveway. Six phone calls and three months later the company has yet to remedy the damage done. Twice I've been promised the wall would be repaired. First, I was asked to give them a month to have the wall fixed. This was in mid May. Again, in early August, after waiting patiently nearly three months, a promise was made for the wall's repair. It's now nearly two weeks later and the wall is still not repaired. |We've used this firm several times in the past and they have always performed their work well. Their service representatives are well trained in the tasks performed. |Unfortunately, the company has not taken action to repair the damage done to the stone wall. |I've twice stated the wall is quite old and nothing extraordinary need be done to repair it other than to put it in approximately the same condition. |I'm obviously disappointed in their lack of responsiveness. |

+ -1 moreThe County Board of Health inspects out septic system every year. This was our first year as owners of this house, and we received a report that the septic system needed pumping. A neighbor recommended Saving Liquid Waste. I called and made an appointment within a few days of my call. I was called before they arrived, and they arrived within the time window set for the appointment. They took a good amount of time pumping several tanks. Sometimes I thought they were finished with a tank, but they would continue pumping. All my questions were answered. It started to rain, but the work continued. There was no rush to finish. The County did a second inspection, and everything was satisfactory. A young man was getting on the job training in pumping septic systems, and I, as a teacher, thought the man/owner was doing a good job of training the young man. The owner called me after he got back to the office with a filter number for an air filter that needed replacing on the motor that pumps air into the system. It was cheaper for me to do the simple replacement that was less than $7.
