+ -1 moreThey did a great job! They trimmed a sixty foot oak tree with a bucket truck and another tree. The guys showed up on time, were prompt, careful with their equipment and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would recommend them and use them, again.

+ -1 moreIt was the first sod I have ever done but I imagine that was in the realm of minimal price for that type of job. The quality must be good because it is the prettiest grass we have grown here. It’s good, real good. Responsiveness is pretty good. Chris, the owner I have dealt with him several times over the period of years. I have even had trees brought off of him and planted. You set up a time of day and they show up.
Description of Work: We have used them over a period of years. They did landscaping and we have had him out for tree cutting down limb service. They have also installed some sod. They filled in some topsoil this last fall. The put in sod in September because it was too late for grass seen, that is why it was sod. It was around $1,300, that was including the sod and the back filling of several loads of topsoil.

Description of Work: Removed 26 ft purple plum tree. Came out and gave estimate. I called to schedule and they came out within time frame given. Took extra care with my privacy fence. Was polite, efficient and cleaned up before they left. Would use again.

+ 0 moreThey cut out a large tree on the side of our house and we purchased another tree from them. They took the stone wall down and took the stump out and cleaned it up and dug another hole and got it ready for the new tree. My husband planted the tree. They were professional, friendly, let me know they were here, and told me what they were going to do. Then they came and told me when they were done. They made suggestions on planting the tree that we purchased and they put everything back and put the stone wall back up. It all looks very nice and they dug the hole for the tree to go into. We got another bid for $425 so I think they were reasonable.

Description of Work: Chris Wilson was highly recommended by a friend who is in the landscaping business. Cut down a number of trees. Trimmed a number of tree limbs. Very professional. Wilson's crew were experienced and had been with the company for a while. They removed debris and cleaned up well. We were originally concerned because of the placement of the trees, but they brought in a motorized lift and removed the trees safely and efficiently. They left one stump a bit long, but after a call they were back out to trim it off. Quote was quick and competitive. It took a while to get them out here due to wet weather & them not wanting to ruin the lawn with the lift, but the wait was worth it. I'd highly recommend Wilson's to anyone looking for tree removal and trimming.

+ -1 moreTheir workmanship was nothing if not professional and timely. Chris explained what he was going to do and did it. My wife and I are very satisfied and have contracted to have him do snow removal for us. I would heartily recommend them.
Description of Work: I had about $15000.00 of work done by Wilson redoing my backyard 2 years ago. They cut down trees, cleared the fence line, tore out a small in-ground swimming pool, re-graded the property, added a retaining wall, replaced a large planter along the side and placed a flower bed at the back of the garage, installed a paver patio, and constructed a suface water drain line from the bck of the garage, along the retaining wall, and down the side of the house to the street that pretty much eliminated a wet basement during rainfalls.

+ 0 moreChris told us what they would do. Chris measured areas, etc. He told us he would have their estimates to us via email by Friday, May 10' He told us what materials, etc., they would use. We did not hear from him to this date May 23. We have made numerous calls + emails with no response. Their office spoke to us once and said that they, (Chris), would call us that evening. 5 days later still no response. We told the office if they did not want the job to please let us know. Office said they had mailed an estimate on Friday of that week. A week later and we still have not received that estimate. We still have heard nothing! If you want frustration, then Hire these guys....we will not!

+ 0 moreThey were very professional, and Chris was very responsive to our questions and concerns. He made sure everything was what we expected. They did a fantastic job and we would have them back again anytime!
Description of Work: We had a tree removed by them a number of years ago and since they did a good job at a reasonable price, decided to call them again in 2011 to remove another tree and some brush that had overgrown. At the time we discussed tearing out our deck and replacing it with patio pavers. This July we had them come back to do demolition of our old pool, brick fireplace and steps in the back yard, install a retaining wall and catch basin and do landscaping around our garage including re-sodding the back yard as well as doing the patio pavers. We even added a waterfall to the project.

+ -1 moreThis company is very professional. Their work is beautifully done. They care about the health and the appearance of the tree. They will not touch a tree that doesn't need to be trimmed.
Description of Work: Trimmed and shaped a tree that was badly overgrown. An electric line passes through the tree. Wilson had lined dropped so that work could be done safely. They did a beautiful job of shaping and trimming. They did not top the tree.
