WELLER ROOFING

Great! No complaints. Done ahead of schedule and cleaned up after themselves. Chris Weller provided the estimate and responded to all my questions promptly. When I commented on poor rating with Angie's list, he pointed out that there was only one report. Agreed! I really wanted to use a hometown business and promised I would write a report on Angie's list...good or bad. So often folks don't take the time to comment when the work is done satisfactority...only to complain. That hardly seems fair. So I took a leap of faith and Weller performed. The men who installed the gutters and guard were prompt, efficient, neat and polite. John Weller came with them and returned during the day to check on progress and to see if there were any problems - there were not. When they were unable to complete the job the same day due to tornado warnings and lightning, they returned the next morning as promised and completed the job. They cleaned up each day before leaving and there were no indications they had even been here except for the beautiful new gutter system we have. Thanks to all!

Terrible!! I called to get an estimate and they just sent someone out here. Did not call to verify an appointment time. They were lucky I was home. It was the middle of the day. The salesman was good to work with initially, but as problems arouse, they were long lapses in returned phone calls or none at all. We signed papers late October, gave a 50pct deposit and were told we would have our new roof on by end of November. It was the end of December before the arrived to begin work. I understand weather plays a role in this, but I was never contacted to advise of the delay. I had to call them to find out about the delay.The roofers arrived and it took 2 days to replace the roof. Outside in our yard 2 days later, I noticed old shingles and shingle paper all over the yard and a oil spot on our cement porch where the air compressor leaked oil. As I was picking up the trash, I noticed rows and rows of nails laying in the yard. I walked around the entire yard and driveway cleaning up what should have been done by the roofers and if this was not included in the job, I should have been told about it, so that I could have gone out immediately after they were done to clean up the debris and the oil stain. Because of them not cleaning up we ended up having to replace two tires on a car brand new car due to nails all over the place. .I am still trying to find something to get the oil stain out of my cement porch. Less than 2 months later we had 10 shingles blow off the roof. I called to advised them, left a message and the next morning they showed up unannounced in unmarked vehicles replacing shingles. I called the company to verify and only got the answering service. It has now been 1 week and I am still waiting to hear back from them. I also have called at least times to request a final statement saying they completed the work and have not yet received anything. This company is unreliable and they ignore problems that need to be addressed.

WE USED WELLER IN THE PAST TO PUT A NEW ROOF ON OUR HOUSE AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. SO NATURALLY, THEY WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE WE CALLED TO PUT A ROOF ON OUR NEW FRONT PORCH. THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN US AND THE PERSON WHO CAME OUT TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS AND ORDER THE MATERIALS. TURNS OUT THE PERSON WHO HAD TO SIGN OFF ON THE PROJECT WAS ON VACATION, SO WE COULD NOT GET STARTED FOR AN ADDITIONAL WEEK. ONCE WE GOT THE PROJECT SCHEDULED AND THE CREW WAS ONSITE, HOWEVER, THE WORK WAS PERFECT. THEY ARE METICULOUS AND PROFESSIONAL WHILE STILL WORKING QUICKLY. WE ONLY WISH WE DID NOT HAVE SO MUCH DIFFICULTY SCHEDULING THIS PROJECT, AS OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS MUCH BETTER. REGARDLESS, THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP IS EXCELLENT AND THEIR PRICES COMPETITIVE. WE WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN IF THE NEED ARISES.
